The dark, glamorous aesthetic is stunning--perfect for date night or for impressing out-of-town guests. I loved the gold accents, layered textures, and thoughtful lighting. Everything worked together beautifully. We chose to sit at the bar to watch the mixologists work their magic. They were incredibly helpful in guiding us toward drinks that matched our preferences. I absolutely loved my cocktail--even if I can't recall the name--because it delivered the spicy kick they promised. We also ordered several shareable plates, all of which were delicious. We tried the Carnitas Tamales (shredded pork, ancho mole, fresh corn, masa, cilantro, yuzu arbequina oil), the Vegetable Empanadas (house-made pastry, wilted kale, roasted sweet potato, Oaxaca and cotija cheese, black bean purée, and adobo & chile-lime aioli), and a salad. I'd happily order any of them again. I did find myself wishing for a bit more heat, but I've learned that's hard to come by in Tennessee. At least the staff gave us a heads-up that the spice level is toned down. I'm already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu. The vibe is fantastic--and while they have a nice outdoor space, the interior is so eye-catching I'm not sure I'd want to sit anywhere else.

Tapas were good the carrots were by far the best roasted perfectly and the sauce was so flavorful. The crab dip was good but typical same with mushroom truffle pizza. The empanadas were good but a little dry I was glad they had sauce. Would go again and get the carrots and new items!

Our table provided a scenic overlook through the trees. I wish that I remembered our waiter's name, but he was phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable. (I do remember he was from Southern Indiana). My wife had the petit 7-ounce filet (wet-aged Iowa Premium USDA beef tenderloin, center cut, fresh-cracked black pepper and kosher salt) and a Caesar Salad. Her steak was cooked perfectly and she really enjoyed her Caesar salad and the twice baked potato as her side. I had the New York Strip (dry-aged Iowa Premium USDA prime short loin with the bone. Fresh-cracked black pepper and kosher salt), and a chopped salad (chopped baby greens, tomato, pickled onion, artichokes, cucumbers, hard boiled eggs and citrus herb vinaigrette.) The steak melted in your mouth and the salad was fresh with a delicious citrus herb vinaigrette dressing. My side was the asparagus which again, was very delicious and cooked perfectly (I could have had another serving!) They also served some very tasty hot and buttery spoon bread which was very close to the original recipe that was created near my home in Berea, KY. Between the salad and the main course, we were served a lemon sorbet as a pallet cleanser. For dessert, my wife had the crème brûlée and I had the butterscotch budino. Both were very tasty, but personally for me, the butterscotch budino was a tad better -- but you cannot go wrong with either. We don't drink, but there was a great wine menu and over 100 different bourbon selections. We will definitely return again. Reservations are highly recommended!

After joining the waitlist online before driving to the restaurant, we were seated immediately upon arrival at a high top in the bar area. I enjoyed the chill vibe. Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I ordered the Hawaiian Ribeye. Our server said it was his favorite thing on the menu and I could see why. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was marinated in pineapple ginger sauce and then basted with teriyaki. It was absolutely juicy and delicious. I highly recommend this steak, which rivals the steaks at any of those over-priced steakhouses. The steak came with a salad and I chose the house lemon dressing. I continue to dream about this creamy, slightly salty dressing. They should definitely bottle it and sell it! I chose a baked sweet potato for a side and it was huge and unfortunately not cooked through, but I enjoyed the fully cooked parts. My husband ordered the Killin Me Burger, a full pound of meat with onion straws and thousand Island dressing on a brioche bun. He said it was the best burger he's ever had and my man knows his burgers! The bun was struggling, so my only suggestion is a sturdier bun. A really magnificent meal at a fun place! I've put it on my favorites list.

Anyway, we gave it another try recently because we had always loved it so much. Chloe was our server and she redeemed JT Hannah's for us. We had been looking at the French Dip, but Chloe recommended doing the Philly Cheesesteak instead while deleting the green peppers and substituting jalapeños. Then, order the consummé for dipping. What a delicious idea! The sandwich was EXCELLENT with the consummé and the side of horseradish! The Buffalo Chips were a tasty side. The restaurant is always a fun atmosphere with the rustic decor. You should give JT Hannah's a go! Ask for Chloe!

For appetizers we ordered meatballs (4) which were tasty and the smoked guacamole was really very good. Mains were good -- beef rib was excellent, hanger steak was very good, beef medallions were very good. Sides -- not so much. All were flavorful, but over-cooked. Maybe this is Latin American style, but not what is common for American restaurants. As a person who has eaten in great restaurants in big cities as well as a lot of good restaurants in cities all over the country, overall, I'd give this restaurant 3 1/2 stars. It was a Wednesday night, so I'll visit once more on a Friday or Saturday to see if they pop up a notch.

We were seated in the very back of the restaurant, so it was very hard to see on the other side of the wall! The first bad thing we had happened my son asked for coffee and they gave him cream that expired several months prior that curdled as he poured into his coffee. We even showed the waitress the expiration date. We had to wait a long time for even our appetizer and salads to even come out . We waited a long time for food to come out even our salads didn't come out but right before our meal. We had one meal that was undercooked which was the hamburger steak where it was very raw in the middle after asking it for medium well. We had one person's food that didn't even come out with the rest of the meals while everyone else was eating she had to wait. In total we were there almost a total of 2 1/2 hours in total for dinner Which was ridiculous !!! I have ate at a lot of restaurants, but this is one I will not go back to, and I have ate their previously during the day also ordering takeout but not again The interior in the restaurant is outstanding, and the design is beautiful but The outside does look a little rough. Both upscale yet inviting. Note that it does feel a bit like European dining where the tables and fellow diners are very close to you and the tables are small and cozy. You hear all of their convos as well, for better or worse. :-) We ordered the scallop appetizer and for our meal, we both got the short rib pappardelle pasta and a side of the brussel sprouts to share. Our server was very kind but our orders took a very long time to come out, from drinks to the food itself. In fact, our brussels came out at the same time as the check. I will say that she recognized this issue without us saying anything and even removed the brussels from the bill preemptively. The food was delicious-especially the main course. The bolognese sauce was creamy and had a slight kick and the short rib was tender and tasty. Another odd thing is that we ordered the same exact dish but one plate visibly had almost twice the amount of food than the other, which is an odd choice if you know they are going to the same table. Other than the few service quirks, it was a wonderful experience and the food and drinks were delicious. We will be back at some point.
