Squeegee Genie is by far the best window cleaning service in town. They came and cleaned my windows today and did a great job. Crystal clear and shining bright. They were early and got right down to business. They were friendly, paid attention to detail, took a little extra time to remove some paint that was on the window. One of my screens had a little hole in it and was a little mis-shapened and was able to bend it back. They even took off their shoes when they came inside. Would NOT recommend this business if they were the only window cleaning company in the world!!! If your windows are more than just dusty, Squeegee Genie can not clean them!! If you live in the tri-valley, more than likely you have hard water and heaven forbid that water get on the windows from the sprinklers, because they are reluctant to get rid of the film resulting from the hard water. Showing our house for sale has been crazy hectic for us, but they worked us in their schedule after moving some things around. On the day they were here, we also had a photographer, a "stager", a trash hauler, neighbors, relative, and a carpet cleaner. Cody and Dave worked around these folks and did a spectacular job on our windows. (Sad to say, they were overdue...) I have used this locally owned company for both my business and personal residence for years. One of these is a very small job and the other a big and often super dirty job and both are always treated with the same care and professionalism. They take their job seriously and treat you and your belongings with respect. Also, I don't know what they do but the windows actually seem to stay cleaner longer when they do them! The response time to my request for an appointment has been incredibly fast and after the cleaning, the windows look as if they were brand new. Both his associate as well as Cody are meticulous about removing their shoes when indoors and they were very gentle with my window coverings. The price was very reasonable. Cody and company did an excellent job in cleaning the windows, screens, and sills (especially bad due to the wind and vineyards in the So. Livermore area). Professional and thorough - they amazed me when they also cleaned the windows on my garage doors. This Summer Squeegee Genie was recommended by a friend. I spoke with Coty on the phone re. price and timing. The rate seemed high since I have very simple to clean windows but I decided to use the company based on the recommendation. First thing I noticed was a bent screen which I did not have originally. There were multiple windows with no cleaning on the entire perimeter. And many windows with clearly visible "misses".There were dirty water drips and splashes on the newly painted walls and many dirty water drips on the hardwood floors and carpeting. And very visible razor scratches on windows that would not need the use of razors. Coty is a fast talker and talks a good game but does not deliver a good product. read more
