All my food and the case of Alani drinks were stolen! I texted the owner Gerzahi as soon as I realized all my food was gone and he never responded or attempted to make it right. Needless to say I have a new cleaner now. There's are many other cleaners to chose from so I won't use ones who steal my groceries.

I hired Genius Air Duct Cleaning in June for AC duct and dryer vent cleaning. Their technician…read moreinspected everything, told me my ducts looked great and didn't need cleaning, and said my dryer vent was also very clean. He performed a minimal dryer vent cleaning and charged me half price because he said there was so little to clean. Two months later, my dryer is shutting down with a severe airflow restriction. Genius is now telling me I "probably need a deep clean" and blaming the issue on the fact that I only had a basic cleaning--even though THEIR technician inspected it, told me everything looked great, and never recommended a deep clean. I was told twice that a supervisor would call me back. Instead, I was eventually told the supervisor refused to speak with me. Their only offer was to refund the June cleaning or charge me another $159 for a deep clean. I hired professionals to inspect and clean my vents and relied on their technician's assessment. If a deep clean was needed, their technician should have told me that in June--not blame me for it two months later when my dryer is now unusable. Extremely disappointing service and accountability.

OMG! Genius Air San Antonio ---DO NOT USE…read more Absolutely terrible experience. The technician did not properly clean our dryer vents and went far beyond what was appropriate. He cut open our air distributor boxes, taped them back together. He should have went through the air registers to clean ducts, which he absolutely should not have done (see attached photos). He told my wife that black spots inside the air distributor box were mold and pressured her to pay $1,600 to have it removed. He offered to take photos because she could not go up the ladder due to a rib injury. After claiming he cleaned the dryer vent, he lingered and continued pressuring her, making her extremely uncomfortable. I was out of town for work. We called a neighbor who is a certified HVAC technician to check. The neighbor removed a bird's nest from the dryer vent and confirmed there was no mold present. Not only did Genius Air failed to properly clean the vent, but they also attempted fraud by falsely claiming there was mold. We called to complain, were told they would reimburse us and asked for photos of the damages to the air distributor boxes. We sent the photos and videos... and never heard from them again. This company is unprofessional, unethical, and should not be trusted. Do not use Genius Air.

Paid for "Deep Clean", mark missed completely Short Review:…read more$200 more expensive than MerryMaids ($478 vs $272) cleaning with less spaces cleaned than the lower priced service, equivalent cleanliness results. MerryMaids crew stayed two hours longer, did more work. Two stars for the overall experience - Pretty good cleaners by raw talent, extremely overpriced compared to the competition, middle of the market when it comes to cleanliness. Below market customer service for arguing with me about cleaning dirt off the corners of the base boards, then didn't return my sponge. Used soap on all my cast iron without asking, now I have to re-season everything. Long Review: I just paid $478 for a "deep clean" that was in all fairness a pretty good cleaning if it were a routine cleaning. Comparable to the "sparkle" cleaning I paid for from Merry Maids eight months ago for $272, but not as thorough. The only exception being that Merry Maids cleaned my sliding glass doors and the balconies, which was included in the original quote. I paid extra both times for the stove cleaning, the refrigerator etc. I also talked to a guy at their office (I think) on the phone and told him how much more I was paying compared to the last cleaning and that my expectation was that the money spent should be reflected in the level of cleanliness. He assured me that the two ladies were "the best". When they said they were done, I asked about the balconies, and they said they don't do that. There wasn't an option for that on the website either, like there was on the Merry Maids website. I also had to argue with the lady when they were trying to leave after less than 3.5 hours of work (1,600sq ft) to have her wipe down the corners of the wall by the base boards. She said it needed to be painted. When I removed the dirt by dabbing my kitchen sponge on it (they didn't bring any, just rags), she relented and wiped off the dirt. I later found that she apparently didn't return my sponge. I also had to instruct them on cleaning behind my AV system and stand, which I would assume that would be included in a "deep clean". I also found that my cast iron pans were cleaned with soap and were put in my oven wet. That's a big no no for cast because it immediately starts to oxidize. One of the pans is already showing rust so I'll have to strip it, sand it, and start over. If I'm paying for a "deep cleaning," what exactly is being cleaned that isn't part of the regular cleaning? And why would I have to monitor them and guide them on how to clean a house? I figured using a little elbow grease to remove easily removable dirt would be part of the additional fee I paid. I have attached an example of the deep clean on my floor, it took 8 seconds with a different sponge to make it look clean. I'm completely blown away by all these five star reviews. Even if these ladies are being paid $25 an hour, that's more than $300 to the business. That's more than a 60% margin against labor. If you want to pay twice as much as you need to, by all means use these people. I'll be going back to MerryMaids. I was later contacted and they pointed out that I had booked two rooms and the cleaning crew reported five. I responded that I correctly described my house when booking as having two bedrooms and 2.5 baths (clearly labeled dropdown menus), along with the square footage that includes the garage and balconies that were never touched. There is nowhere to list total number of rooms.
