I went with a friend who is a member and said it's a great community too. They have a WhatsApp group to find people to rally or play against. For the four courts, you can either book for a session or have a monthly membership to. We did a free Community Play on a Sunday for Pride Month (usually $40 a session). Diverse group of players and a wide range of talent. But as other reviewers have said, they will kick you right out if your squash shoes aren't clean. Once, they even checked my shoes at the front gate!!!! I found the beer selection a bit limited. Fine on the British beers and a couple of fine craft beers, but not much else. Still they allow BYOB! And they have Hendricks gin for the gin and tonics. The important thing though is the league play! So exciting when the other clubs come over!

This gym is (thankfully) not a cheap membership, but all equipment is top of the line and everyone, from towel guy to manager (long time friend, Darren Worts) is friendly and conscientious (did I spell that rite ?) Geoff Mitchell has been the squash pro for as long as I've been a member...just don't play him at pool, for money....or for that matter, any other hand-eye related sport ! I got out of having to be in the band, chorus or orchestra in middle school because my mom was a PTA big shot and pulled some strings. Every time we drove up from Jersey to Penn State to drop me off at college, the same mom would stop at the beer distributor and pick me up a case of Yuengling. And The Chatham Club was the first gym I ever went to. But being spoiled doesn't always have its privileges. Every other gym is ruined for me because none can keep up with this place. I've been a member here three separate times in my travails in and out of living in this area, and every time they seem to have something new for the members. With my recent membership I noticed 3 stationary bikes with large screens attached to them. They aren't TVs but provide you the opportunity to ride virtual courses. Instead of just being told there's a hill by some LCD screen, you see the hill approaching with the ocean to your left. Very cool stuff. They have a huge assortment of treadmills, bikes, ellipticals and machines (a separate spinning studio also). Pretty much everything you could need is here and then some. If there's any sort of minor complaint, the free weight area is a little small and can get crowded if you go during a busy time, but it's not too bad. There are also 6 squash courts if that's your thing plus an aerobics studio, pilates and probably tons of other things I don't even know about. Just get off your butt and go already.

The club is immaculate and has so many perks for members. The heated salt water pool is impeccably maintained and as a bonus is aesthetically pleasing. Squash is like racquetball, but main differences include: 1. It's way more tiring 2. The racquets are differently shaped. 3. You will perpetually be afraid of getting your face smashed by a careless opponent. There's a danger factor here that adds significantly to the exercise experience and I'm OK with that. The staff is friendly and the facilities are clean. There are plenty of courts so I can't imagine you'll be waiting long (or at all) to play a game here.
