He was…read morealways ready and willing to run around town looking at homes and doing the comparisons until we found the best fit. He listened and took time with us over the phone for as long as it took at any hour for us to understand all the points and make the decisions we were comfortable with. Our relationship with Sunset Lending & Realty began by pure chance -- we walked into an open house…read moreand met Jaclene. From the moment she greeted us, it felt like we had known her for years. She was warm, kind, and genuinely invested in us as people, not just potential clients. We were instantly hooked. She set us up on OneHome and the listings began pouring in -- but there was one major problem: we had no idea what we could afford. No pre-approval, no approval, nothing. Without hesitation, Jaclene said, "We do that too!" Enter Thomas. Thomas has the patience of a saint -- no exaggeration. He sat with us, listened to every detail, gathered our information, ran the numbers (without even touching our credit!), and suddenly -- we had a number. A beginning. A direction. Then...life happened. A natural disaster. A major family health setback. Most people in real estate would have moved on -- but not this team. Jaclene stayed with us for months, checking in, encouraging us, waiting until we were ready again. And once Thomas entered the picture, there was absolutely no letting go. Their loyalty earned ours. For years, our family has had a longtime realtor -- we are fiercely loyal. But when we met Thomas and Jaclene, the game changed. Why? Because they listened. Thomas sat with us for hours. He never rushed us. Never pushed a sale. Never tried to sell us a home that wasn't right. In fact -- he fought for us every step of the way. He even steered us away from making offers that he knew we wouldn't be completely happy with in the long run. Instead of pushing a fast close, he protected us -- because he genuinely wanted us to love where we landed. As first-time homebuyers, we didn't know patience like his even existed in this industry. From financing to purchase -- Thomas handled everything. Loan, numbers, documents, negotiations -- a true one-stop shop that made what should have been a stressful process feel simple, supported, and surprisingly joyful. Brad also stepped in to help with the loan, and his guidance was just as incredible. Together, they walked us through every single step. He even got us credit from the seller -- on a home clearly and explicitly sold AS-IS. That alone should tell you everything. They are miracle workers who genuinely love what they do. Fast-forward -- we received the keys to our perfect home. The one that truly felt meant for us. And now...we already have separation anxiety because Thomas is officially family. He didn't send us off to do open-house hunting alone -- he met us whenever and wherever we needed, every single time his schedule allowed. From the bottom of our hearts -- thank you, Thomas, Jaclene, Brad, and the entire Sunset Lending & Realty team. You are rare gems. You gave us not only a house, but a home -- and an unforgettable experience without a single hiccup along the way. If you're reading this wondering whether or not this is YOUR team, keep in mind, this is the ONLY team you want in your corner.
