I had the handle break on one of my Bric's suitcase and living in Nashville did not have a local dealer for repairs. I contacted Bric's who referred me to their webpage where a list of approved dealers were listed. I contacted Square Luggage and sent the requested information and photos of the broken part. They were extremely helpful and told me the cost if the part and shipping which I found very affordable. After a quick phone call they were able to have the replacement handle to me and the suitcase again looks brand new. I needed a quote for a damaged piece of luggage from a recent airline flight, and found this was the only Luggage Repair shop within a 15 mile radius of my home. The shop not only does luggage Repair's but also sells different types of new bags. Why toss your carryon case that has logged just as many miles as you but doesn't get its own Platinum status just because a wheel broke? My Eagle Creek suitcase had gotten damaged during my recent trip overseas. The corner rubber part got cracked pretty severely. We sent it in and the bag came back better than new. The repairs were flawless and even better, it seemed not only the one damaged corner guard was replaced but its partner on the other side as well. Eagle Creek has a lifetime guarantee of its products and we have been very happy with the suitcases we've bought and had them repaired a number of times. Wow! Square Luggage fixed my Rimowa suitcase in less than a half-hour- saving me a trip to NYC (or worse- having to ship it and wait over a month). They were so nice and accommodating (even suggesting future parking tips and that I pull up to their back door for an easy pick-up). I plan to return with another case I have been using with a broken zipper that was otherwise in fine condition. Just note that they are closed on Wednesday's, I learned the hard way. This is the best repair and service store for luggage repair. I had several suitcases (Rimowa, FPM, and Victornox) repair by them, not only are they professional but also much cheaper than the original brand for repair. Since LVMH brought Rimowa, their repair service is terrible and expensive (Rimowa will take at least 3 months to look at the problem and then quote you an extremely high cost for the repair). Square luggage charges are much more reasonable and the turn around time is so much faster. I went in today to get a handle repair and they were able to do it within 30 mins. I discover this fine business when United Airlines damaged a bag and they has me send it there. Wow. Fast, friendly and they did great work. I rounded up several other bags that had various damage but were just too well made to discard. Double WOW. This time I was paying for it and I have to say - again, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT WORK, VERY REASONABLE PRICES. They even fixed one bag at no charge because the repair took him no time but he took a useless bag (the handle extension button was broken) and made it work again. He didn't have to but they really are interested in the relationship with the customer. I really was just blown away at how they took care of me. They're fantastic. A well deserved review. I just had an incredibly positive experience with Square Luggage so I felt compelled to share. I purchased two pieces of Hartmann rolling luggage from Bloomingdale's years ago. Although my luggage is no longer under warranty, the Bloomingdale's luggage department representative did provide me with the contact information for Square Luggage. As I live in VA I was not able to drop off the two pieces for wheel repairs and the cost of shipping the two rather large pieces would have been exorbitant. I spoke with Al and he recommended that I remove the four wheel assemblies myself and ship them to NJ for repair. Al provided easy to follow instructions on how to remove the wheel assemblies, basically removing three screws in each assembly. After shipping the four assemblies to Al for repair they were returned to me within just a few days good as new. Great service! Great communication! Great value! I bought Eagle Creek luggage because of the "no matter what" warranty, but if you cannot find a reliable company to fix it, what good is the warranty? My 16-year-old Eagle Creek 26-inch suitcase had a rough time during my trip to Central Asia. I found Square Luggage and mailed my suitcase to them expecting a 4 - 6 week turnaround. Once again a very happy experience with Square Luggage! You've got to give it to Samsonite for making rugged luggage. The piece in question is a good 10+ years old, mid-large size range, and has been used for fairly extensive business travel in the last 4-5 years (pre-Covid). It looks beat up on the outside, however, works extremely well for me. But. The zippers have broken -- or, more likely were broken by rough baggage handling. Great selection of high-end brands like Briggs & Riley, Travelpro, Hartmann, Rimowa and Boyt, and surprisingly competitive on price. Wow some bags are seriously expensive, like $1k for an aluminum one! It's not all fancy stuff, they also carry Samsonite and other plain (read: affordable) lines. You may think of showrooming here but I found little need, these luxury goods do get discounted online but Square Luggage was asking the exact same price for the small Boyt bag that caught my eye. Free personalization with your initials. It's easy to get help, actually it's impossible not to be helped LOL and the friendly but not pushy staff really seems to know their, ahem, their stuff. The few minutes at Square Luggage was truly a bad experience. I went to the repair department to get an estimate for repairing a broken suitcase handle. The sale person was nice. She quickly checked the telescope handle and said that just the handle needed replacement and the charges was about $20 - $25. As she was putting a tag on the suitcase, I politely indicated that I don't want to spend more than $25. Immediately, the manager interrupted us by shouting - "Don't leave it here." It appears that she does not want my business. The sale person awkwardly removed the repair tag from the bag. I walked out feeling offended. read more
