Also great for hosting picnics! Several picnic tables under a pavilion, water fountains, and public restrooms that were very clean! A large playground for children as well. Not far from the downtown area. Street parking on an incline is available. Well kept!

We made a mental note to stop in after our bite to see what it had going on. Cut to an hour later after some good eats we waled into this park. I don't know the history of how this place came to be but it must be interesting. I've never seen a park like it. There were huge concrete teddy bears all over. Kids wee playing around them and we of course took some pics with them. Personally i enjoyed that it was up again the epically large bluffs from the river. the steep cliffs were beautiful and a great backdrop for the park. It's not very large, and there isnt much else to do in the park, but it's definity a spot to stop into and admire.

Overall it looks like a really fun park for kids, if I did have kids I would for sure take them here to play, if in the area.

Roosevelt's New Deal bringing jobs to Minnesota and the craftsmanship of the stone work around the lookout is beautiful. They have a great playground, a huge covered picnic area, 2 baseball fields. Parking can be a hinderance if there are a lot of organized sports going on otherwise parking shouldn't be an issue. Bathrooms are currently closed for the season but there is a port a potty and they should reopen when summer starts.

Sail on silver girl... All your dreams are on their way…read moreThe bridge is now here. Minnesota is not too great about timely building or rebuilding bridges. The old Lake Street Bridge and the old High Bridge were in such disrepair before they were replaced, not to even mention what happened with the 35W bridge. Since that tragedy, we have gotten better. There is the new Wakota Bridge and the new Hastings Bridge, both of which were overdue. However, the bridge most in need of replacing - the old Stillwater Lift Bridge - took way too long to get something to finally happen. Good thing the feds and/or Sconnie probably picked up a large part of the tab. Who knows how long it would have took otherwise? The bridge is the continuation of MN Highway 36 across the river. There is a pedestrian and walking path on the north side with several platforms with nice views of Stillwater. No such path on the other side of the bridge. I let Yelp do an auto fill on the address which gave it a location in Hudson. It should really probably be listed in Stillwater or Bayport, MN or Houlton, WI. Get to work Yelp in San Fran and get a better address on this for me. K, thanks.

What a wonderful park and playground in the northern Stillwater community. The playground has been…read morerenovated within the last couple of years and the kiddo gives it 2 thumbs up! We also experienced the baseball diamond due to a 6 yr old t-ball game. Lovely field - just remember to bring a blanket or chairs to sit on while your kiddo plays. They also have a volleyball sand court and basketball court. They have a handful of picnic benches for a lovely afternoon outing. Plenty of parking on the street or on their parking lot.
