Having never really spent any time in Pemberton (although heaps in Whistler) I thought a weekend to…read moreexplore this valley was in order. After scoping out the ten or so B&B's in Pemberton, we chose Auberge. Rooms were a little smaller than I've experienced before, but were cozy, yet modern. Not a doily in the place! The view from the Currie room upstairs was stunning. Sleeping with the shades up and the windows open we awoke to views of Mt Currie, still covered in snow, on a bright blue backdrop. For a city slicker, falling asleep to the sound of frogs, in a valley where blankets of stars touch the tops of mountains, is heaven. I think I might need to invest in one of those ambient sounds CDs now! The backyard stole my heart. Two hot tubs, a pool, a large garden, fruit trees and a fire pit. So quiet, outside of the birds chirping (and an occasional bear, or so the proprietor said). Breakfast was abundant and served in a big and warm kitchen. Baked apple french toast and a veggie scramble with potato crisps were on order, complete with fruit salad and abundant yogurt and granola... all were delicious. The owners were well traveled, outdoorsy and friendly. Along with his hospitality (we didn't meet Joan, his wife), Michel had great suggestions for both restaurants and hiking nearby. He even filled us in on some local insights! I'll be staying here again, hopefully next time with a bike for the Slow Food Cycle.

This is a long overdue review since we were there 3 months ago, but we had such a great time…read morestaying there that I just have to rave about it. Our time in this B&B was definitely the highlight of our trip in Vancouver. Ann Spence, our B&B host, was so awesome!!! She was very helpful and friendly from the beginning even before we met her! Not many B&B accepts the gift cards, but Ann did! Not many B&B accepts babies, but Ann did, at NO CHARGE! The B&B is located in Easy Street, and just like the name of the street, it was quite easy to find the place from the main street. From outside the place was just like an ordinary home, however, as soon as you walk in, you will feel so at home. Not only because Ann welcomed us with her sweetest smile, but also because her house offered warmth and charms that I've never felt before in other B&Bs. Because it's a little cold when we arrived, Ann quickly made some British style tea with some yummy Maple Cream Cookies. She also puts out some sherry in the living room and snacks all over the house so we can just eat them whenever we feel like it. Golden Dreams B&B is very nicely decorated with many things from around the world. The Living Room is a blend of American-Victorian style. Her kitchen is newly decorated with Elmira Stoveworks country. All of the rooms are very well decorated with its own theme: Rainforest, Black Bear and Wild West. We stayed in the Black Bear Room because it's the biggest room they have so our daughter crib fits perfectly there. A little side note for this room is that you have to share the bathroom with another room (Rainforest). However, if you happen to be the only guest there like we did, then you get the whole bathroom and the house to yourself. The bathroom comes with a hot tub as well. She also has an outside hot tub that we could use any time too :p Ann also likes gardening so she puts a lot of fresh flowers all over the house. She also makes her own jam and bread that she always serves for the breakfast time. Did I mention breakfast? Ann's breakfast is to die for! She makes almost everything from scratch. Her jam is organically homemade and so is her whole wheat bread. Ann was so sweet, she played with our baby during breakfast so that we can enjoy our breakfast even more. Since we only stay there for 1 night, she gave us choices for breakfast. We chose Golden Dreams Eggs with smoked salmon. Everything was just so perfect that we had to eat every little bit of it. Sam, her dogs, was so jealous that we didn't leave him any crumbs :p I HIGHLY recommend this B&B! We wished we could stay there longer, but the one night we stayed was a truly GOLDEN DREAM!

It's very evident all the thought and care that has went into creating this beautiful atmosphere and resort. We spent nights in both the Sea to Sky Loft, as well as the Sunset Suite. Despite our suite change likely not being the most convenient for the owner Marsha, she never made us feel a bother. Both suites are incredible, it would be really hard to choose which one we preferred. The views from the Sea to Sky are breathtaking, but the space and steam shower of the Sunset are equally enjoyable. Both had propane fire pits outside, and we enjoyed cozying up in the provided robes while looking at the stars. The space was clean, and beds were very cozy. This place is a hidden gem! Marsha was so kind and hospitable, and went above and beyond to make our stay the best as can be. The breakfasts she provided were all SO good! It wasn't your average Bnb, as each morning we got to taste something new that we had never tried before. We will definitely be back! We highly recommend this Bnb. Thanks Marsha!

Had the best massage ever in the beachside cabana, the sound of the ocean just feet away, so relaxing. Marsha was an outstanding host, offered up fantastic breakfasts to start our day, and you can tell her attention to detail, from the quality of the roses to the Champagne (part of our package) and the place was immaculate. Will be going back for sure, highly recommended.
