The menu is broad without being complicated, messy, or overwhelming. Everything is really well organised and they've done a great job of advertising their range of products. Bubble tea is their staple seller but they also offer frozen yogurt with a choice of chocolatey/sweety and fruity toppings, and tear and share waffles. Savoury stuff is available too! You'll find Ramen noodles and Gyoza dumplings on he menu if the sweet stuff isn't quite doing it for you. This time, I opted for a pear green tea with mixed blueberry and cherry bubbles. Never tried the pear before and it was lovely. Slightly sweeter and a little more artificial tasting than I'm used to, though. Like I said, I really enjoy how they've used the space. The unit is really long, kind of white washed throughout including the wooden floorboards which gives it a mega bright and spacious feel and there's ample and varied seating before and after the serving counter. I feel like they've made the space really interactive which is great! Even though I was kinda in a rush, Yobu makes you take the time to appreciate it. There's a little wall of fame/fandom dedicated to its customers, a book case, some cute trinkets dotted around, and leaflets about the local area. I'd love to go back if I'm around B'mouth again! I have visited Giggi many times in the past and on a recent visit popped in to place a small order and consider them for a larger birthday event and corporate order. The product is as always delightful and well made , its no Vivoli Firenze but its always been good and best in Bournemouth offerings. Unfortunately I had to walk out with no orders placed as I was so offended by the member of staff I was served by. Apparently even though ice cream is priced the same across all flavours and there is a flat fee for a tub I was affronted by an obstructive rule about 2 flavours only !! to quote "thats the rule darling take it or leave it !" , I politely suggested I didn't understand the logic as Gelataria's in both Italy and London serve the flavours you wish she became more patronizing , obstructive and rude. It does not make commercial business sense to refuse an order and previously I had been served multiple flavours , but the staff member just ramped up her level of bad customer service, even her male collegue looked embarrassed. I am sure Luigi Bray the owner who obviously takes pride in his products and offering would be shocked his staff were so nonchalant with his business and reputation. I see the trip advisor excellence aware on premise and website and I hope Giggi retains this but my fear is they wont with a staff member like this on board. This is a kiosk on the Quay…read more If you can get to it through the queue, you can get nice icecream here. A little pricey as it serves a lot of tourists, but even so, a good reward in itself. It is in a group of kiosks which is usually crawling with people, so we go to other places for ice cream, or take it from our own freezer! Not bad though. Pretty good.

It offers flavours such as creme caramel, banoffee pie, cherry amaretto, peanut butter, strawberry yogurt, cookies and cream, crunchie just to name a few, as well as the usual favourites. You would never guess that the space use to be a old toilet block, which remained derelict for the past 7 years, before new business owners Mandeep and Jagbir Sidhu took it on. They worked hard to gutt, remodeland transform it into the bright, clean, open plan space it is now. There is comfy indoor seating as well as outdoor, with umbrellas and sandwiches for the winter period coming soon. Melt is perfect icecream parlour for every age. However if gelato is not your go, they also offer freshly ground, creamy coffee, decadent sundaes, waffles and other daily bakes. This place is growing day by day and is definitely a place to keep your eye on!

As usual in these palces the pick of the dishes are the cook to order sections and this had a noodle bar where you can pick your own raw ingredients and then they will stir fry before you - they also had a cook to order pasta section. it was pretty empty when we sat down at about 5....but had busied up by the time we left. There were lots of chefs busy cooking...the s=desserts went down best with the kids - they even had a Mr Whippy style ice cream machine where you could make your own ice cream cones.... The kids were happy enough so I guess I was too....
