And the shopping center right next door has everything we could want! Upon move-in the apartment was immaculate. I'm usually the type to clean even if it looks clean, but I truly didn't need to, it was spotless. The dark wood features & modern appliances are gorgeous as well. The tall ceilings and wide open space is perfect for our growing family & I'm personally in love with the walk-in closets & storage space throughout the home. There were a couple things that needed to be fixed (lightbulb & disposal) but maintenance was quick to respond. The community center is comparable to most smaller resorts! We're looking forward to spending quality family time there this summer. We are so very happy to call this our new home for the next 15 months. BTW, I read some negative reviews about the parking before we moved, but so far we haven't had an issue at all. I love the sense of community here as well. I should have listened to my gut and walked out of the office because of the way she spoke to me that day. I was hoping that maybe she was just having a bad day, and that the other office staff would be more experienced with soft skills (they're not!). Giving her the benefit of the doubt was a huge mistake. She shoved my lease into my hands, and as I looked over the policies, she was impatient when I asked basic questions She seethed over things like "how long does the dog park stay open?" And "If I go to any events, am I going to be filmed for social media?" She snapped at me, giving curt, minimal responses. I also caught her looking at me up and down, glaring at me as though I had done something to personally slight her. She then said "If you have any pressing concerns about neighbors, parking, pool hours, and pet rent- Don't come to me about anything. I'm not helping you." And then didn't give me the appropriate contacts to reach out to for any of those things. I seriously can not believe that she spoke me that way.

While the apartment itself and location are fine, they force you to be apart of some third party renters insurance and claim that if you show proof of your personal renters insurance you will not be charged. One day I while looking through my ledger, I caught that I was getting charged for the insurance peakview automatically enrolls you in when you sign the lease. While not a lot, it certainly adds up. When we signed the lease I showed proof of my own personal insurance and was told we were ok. Apparently not. After about two months (most likely more) of back and forth with peakview, being told by them my policy has lapsed, that my personal insurance called saying it was lapsed and eventually that they couldn't do anything because the third party insurance is their own entity putting the charges on my rent ledger. After speaking with my personal insurance, this was a lie. After basically receiving no help and being told there's nothing they could do but have my insurance send a formal letter stating my policy (which I did) I was told this issue was resolved and would no longer be getting charged. Wrong again. I am continuing to get charged and have reached back out to the leasing office who is once again magically stumped and I am now right back where I started. They made no real initiative to solve this issue and purely expect me to solve this on my own. This apartment is very shady, will not tell you the truth and when confronted does not do much to help. Their best advice being sorry there is nothing we can do. Among other things, like changing the way they distribute the water bill mid lease or charging you for a stupid trash service that no one uses, this place takes whatever it can get.

The invironment here is happy and upbeat and so many residents are very welcoming. The calendar that Lori is responsible for is full of activities every single day. You will never be bored here.!!! Movie nights, to trips, to educational seminars. Fun games, exercise classes and so much more. Truly something for everyone. And... the staff: Trudy the manager is always kind helpful , professional and very hands on. Lori, as mentioned above is responsible for keeping us busy and... that...she does !! with educational challenging and fun activities. And then there is Devon!! A true gem ! He is just one of the reasons I decided to live here. From the get go, Devon demonstrated great deal of patience, attention to detail and professionalism. You can tell they care about the residents, not just the property. This truly feels like home. The neighbors are respectful and welcoming, the community feels safe, and there's such a peaceful, positive vibe here. The outdoor nature center is huge and beautiful, the 24/7 fitness center is a total game-changer, and the free coffee bar is such a nice bonus. I've never had an issue with parking, I always feel secure, and the interior of my apartment feels way nicer than anywhere I've lived before. Best part? They calm to call and email but never once had I received any information. Upon breaking my lease they lost the paper work, over charged my last month rent, and LOST my keys I turned in early. When I called to check up 3 times I never got a call back. Pet feces everywhere, I could not take my dog out without one of stepping in it. The replaces over half the grass patches with rocks, (not very pet friendly). After living in apartments my whole life this was the best place look wise but overall the worst place would not recommend.

Original and new managers are first rate and quickly fixed leak in shower and put in grab bar in shower. All electric, but bills so far under 60 per month. No reports of (1) any break ins/ car damage/ theft as experience weekly per previous apartments. And, those were gated indoor parking, (2) mail and packages are always there, not missing as experienced in previous rentals. Super location for us... short walk to all kinds of shops, restaurants, pizza, bars, clinics including regional Kaiser. A four minute walk is Best breakfast place in ten miles or more. Exercise room, Pools, hot tub, kids play area and well appointed dog exercise area are well sized and kept clean. Like everywhere, some do not clean up after dogs. Some real great views of lakes and mountains. I really appreciate every once and a while access to downtown denver... nonstop 55 minute Bustang to Denver train station and back nearly every hour weekdays is a mile away, parking a four minute drive. At $13 round-trip, it beats gas and parking for baseball, LODO or central business district. Easy walk to Theatre District, safe and easy bus to Botanic Gardens. Not much schedule for evening or weekends. Want to be out of there for former.
