I'm usually the type to clean even if it looks clean, but I truly didn't need to, it was spotless. The dark wood features & modern appliances are gorgeous as well. The tall ceilings and wide open space is perfect for our growing family & I'm personally in love with the walk-in closets & storage space throughout the home. There were a couple things that needed to be fixed (lightbulb & disposal) but maintenance was quick to respond. The community center is comparable to most smaller resorts! We're looking forward to spending quality family time there this summer. We are so very happy to call this our new home for the next 15 months. BTW, I read some negative reviews about the parking before we moved, but so far we haven't had an issue at all. I love the sense of community here as well. I should have listened to my gut and walked out of the office because of the way she spoke to me that day. I was hoping that maybe she was just having a bad day, and that the other office staff would be more experienced with soft skills (they're not!). Giving her the benefit of the doubt was a huge mistake. She shoved my lease into my hands, and as I looked over the policies, she was impatient when I asked basic questions She seethed over things like "how long does the dog park stay open?" And "If I go to any events, am I going to be filmed for social media?" She snapped at me, giving curt, minimal responses. I also caught her looking at me up and down, glaring at me as though I had done something to personally slight her. She then said "If you have any pressing concerns about neighbors, parking, pool hours, and pet rent- Don't come to me about anything. I'm not helping you." And then didn't give me the appropriate contacts to reach out to for any of those things. I seriously can not believe that she spoke me that way.

While the apartment itself and location are fine, they force you to be apart of some third party renters insurance and claim that if you show proof of your personal renters insurance you will not be charged. One day I while looking through my ledger, I caught that I was getting charged for the insurance peakview automatically enrolls you in when you sign the lease. While not a lot, it certainly adds up. When we signed the lease I showed proof of my own personal insurance and was told we were ok. Apparently not. After about two months (most likely more) of back and forth with peakview, being told by them my policy has lapsed, that my personal insurance called saying it was lapsed and eventually that they couldn't do anything because the third party insurance is their own entity putting the charges on my rent ledger. After speaking with my personal insurance, this was a lie. After basically receiving no help and being told there's nothing they could do but have my insurance send a formal letter stating my policy (which I did) I was told this issue was resolved and would no longer be getting charged. Wrong again. I am continuing to get charged and have reached back out to the leasing office who is once again magically stumped and I am now right back where I started. They made no real initiative to solve this issue and purely expect me to solve this on my own. This apartment is very shady, will not tell you the truth and when confronted does not do much to help. Their best advice being sorry there is nothing we can do. Among other things, like changing the way they distribute the water bill mid lease or charging you for a stupid trash service that no one uses, this place takes whatever it can get.

When I moved into Peakview over 8 years ago it was a very welcoming place and I enjoyed the location and especially the staff through the years. Over the years the price has continually increased. Especially when IRT Living took over, but the service and the staff continued to provide great service. They took care of all of my request within 24 hours and kept me updated of the status when they were waiting on something they needed in order to finish my request. Their service is excellent and they treat you with courtesy and respect.

The staff is hands-down the most professional I've ever experienced--from the front office to maintenance. Friendly, responsive, and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about the residents, not just the property. This truly feels like home. The neighbors are respectful and welcoming, the community feels safe, and there's such a peaceful, positive vibe here. The outdoor nature center is huge and beautiful, the 24/7 fitness center is a total game-changer, and the free coffee bar is such a nice bonus. I've never had an issue with parking, I always feel secure, and the interior of my apartment feels way nicer than anywhere I've lived before. Best part? We love Juno in office they are amazing! The pool area is nice and kept up with and clean. Everyone around us for the most part keeps to themselves and is respectful. Not a whole lot of complaints. I was told from a current resident the old reviews were true but new management has turned it around and myself and my family haven't really experienced anything less. A couple of neighbor noise complaints but that was sorted out. As long as you're mindful of those around you we really love it here and I can't see why anyone else wouldn't either. (We are new to Johnstown area)

No handicap stuff including toilet and showerhead holder, no bathroom ventilation and few plugs. There is no window in back bedroom, Carbon monoxide detector ringing continuously on weekend and apartment complex had no emergency number so we had to call fire dept to shut it off. and it seemed it took a month for apart. To install a new one. Additionally Water pressure was unreliable(low pressure/ too high pressure, water temperature fluctuated.
