PROPERTY AGE: Built in 2013- PRESENT as of (3/7/2014). With nice brand NEW units never lived in…read morebefore, SCORE and what sold us! STAFF: Friendly and work hard to resolve any problems you may incur pretty quick AMENITIES: - (CLUBHOUSE) is only open during business hours: 2 TV areas to relax at, fireplace sitting area, FREE residential coffee bar, nice new clean bathrooms, and business area (3 MAC PCs, 1 Windows PCs, 1 Printer/Copier/Scanner, and the use of their office equipment upon request). (MASSAGE ROOM) is open between 0600-2200 with a preferred massage therapist on call and lives on property. (MEDIA ROOM) is open between 0600-2200 and has access to nice clean bathrooms. - (GYM) is open 24/7: Lots of NEW equipment to choose from, free weights (dumbbells), and a private yoga room. - (POOL AREA) is open between 0600-2200: Salt water pool (5ft) with what seems to be a hot tub area that is being used as a kids pool (3ft) area, 2 charcoal grills, a nice covered granite countertop sitting/eating area, handicap pool access chair, lots of lounge and sunbathing chairs. - (PROPERTY): Pet areas, nice covered mail area, and rental garages. UTILITIES: None included that I can recall, but all units have valet trash. UNITS: There is a regular unit and then there is a concierge unit. Like most apartments, you can hear some outside traffic/discussions and foot traffic on the stairs. *NO Elevators* (Regular Units): Have basic flooring, appliances, lighting, fans, formica countertops (bathrooms and kitchen), large walk-in closets, railed patio area, and W/D hookups. Parking is whomever can get it first, but with plenty of parking available for your family and guest. (Concierge Units) *This is where we stay*: Have upgraded laminate wood looking floors (living room), upgraded carpet in (bedrooms), tile floors in (bathrooms), large garden SOAKING tub *no jets* (master bath), stainless steal appliances, granite countertops (bathrooms and kitchen), upgraded lights/fans, large walk-in closets, railed patio, and W/D INCLUDED with unit. Parking is RESERVED, but to whomever gets it first. SECURITY: Semi-gated complex, with drive through entry gates only. The pedestrian walk gate is currently being fixed (as of 3/7/2014), but if you walk about 10 yards to the side of the complex there is no fence. Each unit has private alarm panels for you to activate at your cost with any carrier you choose (ALL windows and doors have sensors). I have seen law enforcement vehicles parked at one of the buildings, so it is nice to know they choose to live here and from what I hear that individual is the onsite security officer. BILLING: Everything to include credit cards, but charge a processing fee. They also have a residential portal page for additional billing instructions... CONCERNS: - The views aren't great, but I have seem worse in the area - No playgrounds for the wee ones - No sports areas (basketball, racquetball, tennis courts) - No outdoor fire pits to lounge around *HARD TO FIND* - Minor things with the construction that could have given the units a nicer appearance, but can be overlooked being brand new! *Smells like a brand new home* - Some outside noise that can be heard in the unit, but not too bad - As of 3/7/2014 there is NO car care center, but was informed they are working on it slowly - Window issues and the outside screens keep falling off, but the maintenance manager works hard to keep them in and is trying to come up with a resolution to fix the problem - No recycling program yet OVERALL: We love it and it is always great to live in a brand new place! I highly recommend...

I had a c-section, and the manager offered to go get groceries for me while I was recovering. I appreciated it so much. The front office always puts on a social event every month open to all residents. They make living here amazing. The maintenance workers would bring my heavy boxes up to my apartment for me when I got too big/pregnant to carry them myself. And they are quick to fix any problems. The apartments themselves are nice. I love the kitchen. All Black appliances. Cabinetry is plentiful and good. Washer dryer hook-ups. Wooden floors in the entryway and kitchen. I have a decent sized 2/2 with a sunroof instead of a balcony. Carpet throughout except in the bathrooms. Lots of power outlets, and lighting. Ceiling fans in all rooms. The grounds are really quiet. The complex offers valet trash that collects everyday except Friday and Saturday. Laundry room has four washers and dryers. The clubhouse is state of the art with a massage room, mini TV/theatre room that offers gaming consoles and free netflix. A gym and pool is on sight. All the comforts of home.

Original review based on the moving in process…read more Since property management has changed they have noted some pending improvements to the property. -Updated dog parks to include agility equipment. -refresh the gym equipment. -a walkthrough was completed recently to plan for unit upgrades which is a good sign. -new grills and potentially the fire pit to be updated Rent is easy to pay using the resident app, whereas on my previous review I had to go to Walmart and pay through them to this third party. Two stars for the gate situation but they had workers out there a couple times this month to resolve the issue. Rear gate has never worked with my fob. One of the two front gates rarely works. When you go in the office to resolve the issue they are always responsive when available. Sometimes they have stepped out (showing the property or something) They could update the instructions on the guest gate as they have worn off. I looked up the system and learned how to use it that way. All in all, issues get addressed relatively quickly. It's a clean place and loses marks only due to inconveniences like the gate, garage door intermittent operation, and the state of the gym equipment.

If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. I came in as a prospective resident with…read morea scheduled tour, but the experience was so unprofessional and off-putting that I walked away completely turned off. From the moment I walked in, I was not greeted or acknowledged. I had to wander around to find the leasing office myself. When I finally encountered the leasing professional, she never introduced herself or welcomed me to the community--something that should be basic courtesy. I informed her that I had a 1:30 PM appointment, and she simply told me to wait in the main lobby with no further explanation. After waiting about 10 minutes, I overheard her complaining about being hungry and having five more appointments that day. It was very clear she didn't want to be there. When she finally came to assist us, I explained that I was interested in viewing both a one- and two-bedroom unit because I wasn't yet sure of what size I'd need. She quickly shut that down, saying she couldn't show me both because she was alone and had too many appointments. Mind you, I had already scheduled this tour in advance and had taken time off work to be there. Throughout the entire process, she had a noticeable attitude--cold, dismissive, and visibly annoyed. It felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a potential future resident. She didn't take time to explain any amenities (just pointed vaguely in their direction), and when we viewed the apartment, she didn't engage, ask questions, or offer any insight. The entire "tour" lasted maybe two minutes. She didn't seem to care about my questions--or me. After the brief walk-through, I was handed a packet with minimal information. Pricing details were missing, and the interaction ended just as impersonal as it began. This type of service is unacceptable. The leasing professional clearly lacks proper training and professionalism, and her attitude alone is enough to drive prospective residents away. If this is how potential tenants are treated, I can only imagine how current residents feel. I strongly advise avoiding this community unless there's a serious change in staff or customer service standards.

This is an almost daily problem. This smell is intrusive, pervasive, and overwhelming and keeps you from being able to enjoy the space you're paying to stay in. Many residents have complained to no avail, and some have left. Some have financial challenges and face difficulty finding another place to live. Some have families and little children who are exposed. Even repeated complaints to the leasing office have not resulted in the removal of these residents. The rooms are also ridden with pests that seem to find a way into your apartment no matter what you do. Amazingly, there are nails on the ground from work done around the property, and they pose a real danger. They are difficult to see unless you are looking for them or unless you step on one, which I actually did. Thankfully, I did not get infected but it would have been a very different situation if I had been. This property is not a good place to stay. I'd strongly encourage anyone looking for a place to stay to avoid Stevens Creek Commons.

It's just ghetto. The apartments are old and cheaply built, so sound leaks and it's drafty…read more There are issues with pests because their pest management service is unreliable. In the three years I've lived at Woodcrest, I've seen pest control on site about twice. I'm sure they come more often but it isn't enough to feel their presence. I've dealt with pests pretty much on my own. Maintenance is very slow to take care of issues, and there are no emergency maintenance services. Management has changed about four times since I've lived here, which really says something. They've all been pretty bad. Maybe it'll get better, maybe not. But potential renters deserve to know. There's a lot of random parking lot activity (cookouts, kids playing, people hanging out... all in the parking lot). Some of this could be due to the area the apartment complex is in (hood) or it could be due to the caliber of people they're allowing in (also hood). It doesn't look or feel unsafe but it's really crass. Woodcrest was reasonably priced when I moved in but by year three my rent had gone up around $300 overall and this complex isn't worth that. They literally did nothing to my apartment or the community to warrant the rent increase. The amenities they advertise are often inaccessible because they're out of service. Every Sunday, the trash compactor is so full of garbage that it spills out into the road--right at the entryway of the complex. So you'll be greeted by a literal hot pile of garbage. Also the security gate never works. Overall I wouldn't recommend Woodcrest; there are better apartment communities in the city for around the same rental costs. Good luck, happy hunting!

I have lived at these apartments for 3 years. I have a very nice back porch view which is why I…read morehave stayed so long. If I didn't have that, there's not much other reason to live here. On the surface the complex seems nice but they don't put much care into anything; they put in pretty low effort for the money they are making (and I'm paying), at least in my opinion. Unless you get lucky and get something great out of it like I got with my porch, I'd reccomend living somewhere else. Here are some examples of their service quality and customer care: - Both poolside grills were out of service for about a year. When I asked about it, the property managers blamed a resident for messing them up and they told me that instead of fixing it for the rest of their residents, they were waiting for that one resident to pay to fix it. Thats pretty lame customer treatment to the rest of their customers, considering this is an ammenity that we all pay Woodcrest (owned by Intermark) to be able to use. - In their gym, the one multi-gym piece of equipment they have was out of service for nearly a year. Like the grill issue, this occurred before Covid existed. It is still damaged (cables worn and not on the right pulleys so it doesn't run right and can't be used, cable is also not screwed into the weights and torqued so it backs out). One of the 2 treadmills also is very loud and changes speed when your foot impacts. I'd say this is all somewhat dangerous. And again, the gym equipment is an ammenity you'll be paying for and not really getting. - The pool is locked one day a week for cleaning. Ever been in a pool with a floating chorine tab before? (sarcasm, its quite common and safe). I really doubt there's actually any real danger in using the pool after they've cleaned, just laziness by the property managers. You cant even sit in the pool area for that day because they lock the entrances. So, 1/7th of the time their pool area is closed and locked (this was true in 2019 at least, haven't been yet this year). This is a third ammenity that you pay for but only partially get to use. - The dishwashers they have installed dont clean dishes. There is no top rack sprayer. Your dishes will still have soap and foodstuff on them, even if you rinse first. You should plan to clean your dishes by hand, or at least remove all foodstuff entirely before putting in the dishwasher, which might still leave soap on everything. In my opinion that makes your dishwasher useless. Oh, and there's no check valve between the dishwasher and your sink (at least in mine), so your sink will back up into your dishwasher if your disposal plugs. - One of my shelves in the kitchen fell under light loading because it was installed into drywall only. Glad I didn't have anything I really liked on top of it. One of the shelves in my closet was held up on one side with zip-ties (as installed). - They have changed their payment system twice. They communicated it the first time, but not so much the second. When I found out, it was too late to call my bank to get everything straight and they ended up charging me $50 because I didn't fill out their new system quite right. They do accept credit cards, but you will pay a $30+ fee every month to use them. - One of the 2 gates on the pool is locked and chained because it needs work and they won't pay to fix it. It's been like that for maybe 6 months. - The walkway to my apartment floods every time it rains heavily. Gets up to 6" deep. I put in a ticket asking them to do something with the drain, no response. - The garbage compactor, which is installed at the main entrance, is overfull on average once per month and trash builds up in the street. - I had a car broken into in the parking lot. I wouldn't have a gripe about this to the property management, but the entrance gates are broken and stuck open as often as they are operational. Consider what you're really getting for what you're going to pay before you sign the lease. And remember, they're going to hike your rate after a year or two. If you choose to live here, don't take out your service issues on the staff, remember, it's their bosses making them do it! Happy apartment hunting! -Aaron
