    Free breakfast buffet

I had stopped here with 2 of my friends as we were spending the day at Death Valley national park. We decided to stay at the hotel instead of airbnbs. We were definitely glad we did. This hotel has free breakfast included in your stay and they definitely have a spread including eggs, a meat (sausage or bacon), waffles, cereal, fruits, yogurt, baked goods, and breakfast drinks such as coffee and juice. As for the rooms, they are not the ritz Carlton but they will do if you are looking for a short stay for a night or two. Definitely will come back.

We stayed two nights this weekend and really had a great time. The rooms were well laid out and clean and fresh. The beds were comfortable and there were really nice fluffy pillows, not the standard motel flat ones. There were extra blankets which we didn't need because the room was well insulated for both temperature and sound. And we were right next to the elevator (by request, believe it or not). We had no problems getting extra towels. They keep some behind the desk. The small pool was heated which helped since it was rather cool there for this time of year and my daughter REALLY wanted to swim and play in the pool. The breakfast bar was really nice. orange & apple juice, coffee, hot water for tea & hot chocolate, honey was an option for sweetener, a chaffing dish with scrambled eggs and large sausage patties, a fridge with three types of yogurt, mixed fruit cups, and two types of milk, fresh apples & bananas, small pastries (cinnamon coffee cake, cinnamon horn, and a few other little things I didn't try), English muffins and bagels. They had jam and peanut butter as well as butter and margarine. And make your own waffles with whole grain batter and vanilla batter. The only bad: the oatmeal. Too watery. They had a small market place where you could buy sundries & snacks & meals, and they weren't horribly priced. They did have free Wi-Fi and an ethernet cable available on the desk. 1st floor has a shower/tub combo. 2nd & 3rd just have a huge shower. They had the black out curtains which are important. There's a thermostat instead of having to deal with the a/c unit by the window. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you're there during the week (m-th), they have a shuttle that goes to and from Indian Wells Lodge which is a treat...and not just for the view, but that's a separate Yelp.

The SpringHill Suites Ridgecrest is probably the best hotel in town. They are really a "3-star" tourist motel lacking many of the traditional amenities of a true "4-star" hotel, but for Yelp, they earn a full four stars. Their new hotel is located north of downtown Ridgecrest just off China Lake. The hotel seems pretty new and modern with the chain's standard design and layout. My room was a studio suite with a small minibar and a TV with HBO. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, but it was decent after a long day in Death Valley. Expanded continental breakfast is available with 1-2 hot protein items and the waffle maker. The hotel has an outdoor pool and hot tub and is within walking distance of several restaurants. For the money, this place can be a great value. The larger suites make for a good basecamp, but do not expect any room or bell services. Overall it is a great choice in Ridgecrest.

After Las Vegas hotels disasters this hotel is wonderful. Room lay out and shower and queen sofa bed are plusses. People who work here are friendly and making sure you get what you need. Everything what you need from a hotel room was right there for you to use. Safety bar in the shower is a great point which there wasn't at all in any Las Vegas hotels. Pool and jacuzzi was the plus. Definitely stay here

The fairways were a little rough but not as the descriptions by others. The greens were recently sanded but look in great shape. The greens keeper Ed and bartender JR greeted me when I entered the pro shop/Bar area. I felt as if we were all long lost friends as we talked about the history of the golf course. In the year past a fire took out their watering system and the track took a big hit for 6 weeks. What I loved about this place as a Harvest Host is the scenery, the hospitality and they have a pond with large bass you can fish for. You can fly a drone here too! This place is a must stop when passing through. JR & Ed are great folks to meet!

Hi Lorie, Thanks…read morefor your passive aggressive response! I don't care if bugs are in your area in August. Your staff failed to clean properly. It was not only live spiders, it was dead bugs riddled along the walls. Whether the filth was behind the bed or underneath it is semantics and just goes to show you fail to take responsibility for anything. Not only that, but Jamie received 0 hostility from our party months before the wedding. The first time we met Jamie was for our walk through in July and we certainly notified him of our walk through time. He failed to check his emails. If Ben was fired due to unprofessionalism, why did you tell my coordinator that all brides would hire him directly? I'll post that screenshot below. He must not have been that bad if you were willing to reinstate him in future packages. If your package doesn't include a coordinator then don't include it on your website. Simple. Besides all of this, we're also now finding out Jamie scheduled 2 couples to do their food tasting on our wedding day, but told the caterer he only scheduled one. When the second couple arrived, they were given a portion of OUR extra food. You guys never confirmed this with us. So not only were strangers at our wedding, you gave them our food, which according to Jamie, is customary for your venue. We've also been made aware that Jamie's real name is Tim, so for every time we thought we were communicating with you, we communicated with Jamie the ENTIRE time. I did not post a review until now because with the type of business you run, I was concerned if we left a bad review we would not get our security deposit back, as you tried to do to another bride. It's a shame that you have such a beautiful venue, because an owner like you that fails to take accountability ruins it. Hopefully whoever decides to buy it in the future will run it better. If, according to you, the brides happiness is first priority, then you've done an absolutely horrible job at showing it! I'll make sure to respect this in my other reviews as well. Have the day you deserve.

Ivet was there for me throughout the whole planning process (available 24/7 if all I needed was to vent!).
