We are on a bowling fanatic kick right now since we bought our own bowling shoes. We were on our way home to Los Angeles but decided on stopping by and trying out this place. It was a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy and I asked about the prices which are 33 bucks per hour up to six players. We only wanted to play 1 game but they will prorate it once you start the game. The 2 of us quickly bowled a game and I went up to pay - it only came out to 9 bucks. Our family really enjoys this bowling alley. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They keep it clean, some people are just messy. We are on a bowling league every Monday and we really enjoy it. Candy and Rudy are both amazing. They take really good care of us. read more

A great addition to have in Ridgecrest. It's clean, and the arcade is a lot of fun. I personally enjoy playing pinball at Sierra Lanes, and they have 4 machines. The arcade is brand new and it seems like a lot of people have a lot of fun. I've been bowling here as well and had a great time. Glad we have a bowling alley in town after many years of it being closed. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this place. We had a last-minute change of plans for my daughter's birthday so we invited a bunch of people to the bowling alley. They allowed us to put our cake in the freezer so it didn't go bad and our cupcakes in the fridge. They were beyond kind and nice and the facilities are so clean. We had a wonderful time they were overly accommodating and we will be going back for all of our birthday parties in the future plus other events within the town. read more

This is the quintessential small town bowling alley where people go to hang out and get a pitcher of Bud Light. I have very very fond memories of this place. My buddy used to live across the street. Stopped by to check place out I was in town to meet up with my girlfriend for lunch and figured I'd stop by ,place had just opened and a birthday party for a kid was about to start the young man behind the counter was a bowler himself and with out asking he put me far from them which I appreciated so I could just focus on practice ,the place had a great vibe very community oriented not like a big chain house like amf this joint is well rooted ,place is clean machines work I wasn't hungry so I didn't try out the food but I hear it's great ,I play league in Lancaster and will play league here when they start up again this place is closer to where I live i am glad I stopped by, this is my new place to practice on Saturdays . read more

Yes this place is still stuck in the 1900's, the machines are constantly having problems and the building is not well maintained, they need to update the bowling machines; it looks like i'am playing super Mario from 1990 , and it's dead they have no music. basically the whole place needs to be replaced. For those who like to bowl for fun, this place is alright. If you're a leaguer, you may find it frustrating. Depending on the lane you're given, you may have to hit the pin reset or call for ball return multiple times. All in all, it's clean, lanes are fairly well kept, friendly staff and and plenty of food and drink choices. I only gave 3 stars because I am a serious bowler and the malfunctions of the lanes do tend to get frustrating. Otherwise, I would have given 4 read more

Wow, this place is a straight up 10 on the pure suck scale. This poor bowing alley is stuck in the 1990s. The bowling mechanics is complete garbage and needs some human correction at least every other frame. Do you like music? Well they may not like yours. Sierra Lanes uses the AMI juke box and app. If they don't like your music THEY WILL PULL THE PLUG and play dumb when questioned why your songs aren't being played. Do yourself a favor do not spend a dime in this shit hole. The beer is watered down and the bowing is garbage. So sorry Sierra Lanes the truth hurts. Go F yourself. read more

I have to agree that the place has probably seen better days. I have not had problems with the software, but depending on the lane, you can have to call in to get a ball unstuck a few times during a game. That said, their "Saturday" special is worth it: $10.50 for 3 games, shoe rental, and soda. Their snack bar does have the best french fries in town (okay, I was surprised too). read more

This place is pretty run down... Went with a group of people and reserved 2 lanes. Had a pretty good time, however, both lanes had nonstop problems. The balls wouldn't return 50% of the time. The software was buggy and kept messing up our scores. The system often would not know when it was the next person's turn... Needless to say the place is not well maintained. read more

I wouldn't even give them 1 star but I had to! Their lovely employee Thomas needs a reality check! This guys continues every week to yell at my 2 year old yes 2 year old because he's running, I have talked to my child but guess what he's a toddler and toddlers do what toddlers want that's just life! I don't know where in this guys head he thinks it's ok to yell at someone else's child on multiple occasions but someone BETTER deal with it soon because it will get worse,I will be damned if this employee thinks he will yell at my kid again! This place already has a bad name because how crappy the lanes are and now their employee is making it worse! I am NOT the only parent who has a problem with this guy yelling at kids! And to top of it off once I confronted him he took it apon himself to call my 7 year old a liar and told her she better watch it! Excuse me!!!!?? Huge waste of money. This place is way over priced, the lanes are broken, the computers don't keep score and they employees are no help. My 4 & 6 year olds got a couple strikes and spares each and the scoreboard said they missed 1 or 2 every time. The man at the counter said the kids don't throw the balls hard enough but even on the adults turns, we would have to hit the reset button after every throw and our scores were also off. Huge disappointment. Will not be coming back read more
