I have stayed at properties ranging from the oldest Town Place Suites to Ritz-Carlton and everything in between and have never been so disappointed in a room as I was with ours at the Delta in Menomonee Falls. 1. The carpet had actual holes in it. Not small holes, large holes that were right in the middle of the seating area and could not have been overlooked. 2. The shower was stocked with one bottle of shampoo, two bottles of conditioner, and no body wash. We found this out while my daughter was already in the shower, when we just all wanted to get clean and head to bed. 3. Despite booking the room for three people, only two wash cloths were provided. Again, this was discovered when the third person was getting into the shower. 4. The toilet paper holder was missing the little bar to hold the toilet paper so the roll was sitting on the back of the toilet. While this isn't a huge deal, these pieces are like $5 at Menards and this was clearly observed since the toilet paper roll was placed on the toilet instead. It's just not a good look. 5. There was a horrifying splatter stain on the bathroom wall under the mirror. I don't even want to think about what this could be. 6. There were stains on the wall of the entry way by the coat hooks. Again, how this was overlooked and not cleaned is unthinkable. 7. The comforter on one of the beds was yellow and clearly soiled. This was obvious since the sheets that it was sandwiched between weren't covering the long edge of the comforter. This was noticed when going to sleep so the option was to sleep without the blanket. 8. The television wouldn't work. It turned on once but showed only a blank screen. We turned it off to restart it and it wouldn't turn back on. 9. We decided to watch a movie on the iPad instead but the WiFi wouldn't work. 10. The reading lights next to the beds were so hot to the touch they were dangerous. 11. The light over the coffee machine area would turn on but provided no light at all. While some of these things could be overlooked, the entirety of the experience is concerning. These items were so painfully obvious that this is beyond a "mistake" and instead speaks to a staff who willingly chose to ignore the state of the rooms and rent them out to paying customers anyway. It's frankly disrespectful of customers to allow a property in such disrepair to be available. Not only would I never recommend this property to my worst enemy, I would gladly write a review detailing the items above to ensure that anyone looking to book is aware of the state of the rooms and willingness of staff to overlook basic upkeep. Luckily I had other things to do for my birthday and the stay at this property was not the central event as it would have completely ruined my celebration otherwise. It's worth noting that I did email the above to management upon checking out and received no response. I also replied with this feedback to the automated survey and DID receive a reply with an offer to credit 15k points to my bonvoy account, which has not happened to date. I also asked for follow up on why the regular points for my stay appear to be 1/10 what they should be and have yet to receive a response on that.

The lobby looked kitschy and they have a bar, bathroom, cosmic concierge room (whatever that is), then it connects over to the Eldr+Rime restaurant. The conference space was up on the 12th floor and it had a great overlook for the surrounding area. The space was large and the food setup was great - hot and cold breakfast, juices, tea, coffee, etc. I would come here again for a conference but probably wouldn't stay the night given some of the other reviews.

I had a premium room that was very spacious and included a desk area, drawers, a safe, a closet, mini fridge, and coffee/tea station. My room had wrap around windows due to the room being in a corner and, while the room faced the street, the noise level was relatively low at night. The bathroom was spacious and very modern and there was good water pressure. The executive lounge is open Sunday evening to Friday morning. There is a light breakfast available starting at 6:30am and evening snacks beginning at 5pm. Parking is $12/night and the hotel is conveniently located next to a mall with other stores close by. Overall, great experience at this modern Renaissance!

We drove several hours and had a couple before a wedding. Went to lay down and there was a sky jack moving outside our window. Beeped the whole time. No rest for us. Left reception early to get some rest. Walk all the way to find our room keys went green but wouldn't open the door. No one at the front desk. Rang bell 3 times and I told the young lady. She came down used her key and it did the same thing. Finally, she got it open. Our adult Son went to buy a pop from the machine ar 3 a.m. He took both keys and was locked out. Had to wake us up to answer the door. Then, 7 a.m. get a call from the front desk asking my first or last name. I paused(Talked with this man the day before and knew his voice) he asked if it was Kathy? I told him no. The shower head needed to be descaled big time. Had only dribbles of water coming out. Our room had a hair dryer my sisters room didn't. They had to borrow ours. Found blood on the bedspread. Our fridge frozen everything in it. My sister's didn't get cold. When we had everything out of the room I Checked the keycards.. They didn't work again. Went for breakfast. Fridge that had milk, hard boiled eggs and yogurt wasn't at the right temp. Milk cartons were not cold. Tried one and milk was room temp to warm. Yogurt the same way. I went to the front desk and the gentleman looked up for a second. I let him know whomever is in charge of food service needs to temp the fridge because it was not at the right temp. He told me it was the coffee people. Then went back to what he was doing. (I didn't tell him that I have a National Food Management license and extensive food management experience). Hot food also was not at the right temp. I am a IHG member and was very disappointed . I had to pay up front when I made the reservation and do not feel I got what I paid for. Most of the other staff was polite and courteous .

We came here because everywhere else you have to be 21 to check in and this place allows 2+ dogs for cheap. It's a little outdated and could use some fixing up also. We have talked to the owner several times about drugs being sold in the parking lot in front of us. He is fully aware about what is happening at his hotel. Last time we were here a month ago there were more people living in their cars in the parking lot than staying inside the hotel. If these vehicles aren't leaving every five minutes they stay all day and all night in their vehicle. This time they are so bold, they were tossing drugs down from their 2nd floor windows to the person on the ground. You would have to be incompetent to not know what is going on in this hotel. Our last stay was supposed to be 2 nights. We had thugs around our vehicle. So my husband went down there the 2nd night and moved our vehicle to another parking spot. Then a female swore at him and said "what is your problem?" He said he doesn't like people standing around our vehicle like that. We don't need gun fire to erupt and damage our vehicle. My husband came up to our room on the 2nd floor and had another thug swearing at him in the hall way. So he walked away and we called the Police. The Police came but said they couldn't do much. We realized why they didn't want our vehicle moved because it was covering up their drug dealing activities. We called down to the front desk several times because we were told by the owner last time to call the front desk and they would take care of the issue immediately and that was a lie. We told them to take care of this and boot them out because that was what we were told by the owner last time that he would take care of it. That's a lie. We were afraid for our lives and our vehicle getting damaged so my wife called the front desk about 9pm that we wanted our money back for this night and we are leaving the hotel. So we packed up and went to a different hotel and had a pleasant evening. We all know what's going on about the fentanyl problem at the Texas border. Isn't it surprising that these are all Texas vehicles that are selling drugs in the parking lot. They stay for a month or two then leave and then some more vehicles from Texas come and stay for a few months then leave so nobody gets suspicious of their activity. I've read reviews of pot smell in the whole hotel. Smelly rooms, broken toilets and showers. I believe none of that is important compared to what could happen like being shot, beaten, or mugged in the parking lot going to your vehicle. We have stayed at several super 8's in our life time. This really gives them a black eye and shouldn't have the luxury to be called Super 8 anymore. So please spend the extra $20-$25 to keep your family safe and go to a better hotel. It's not worth getting mugged or shot to save a couple bucks.

As you can see from my video, the room appeared to be decent upon entry. Unfortunately, that was not the case after further inspection. It had been a long day with work & travel plus adjusting to time change. It crossed my mind to asked to be moved to another room, but I didn't for a few reasons. 1. I was tired. 2. The person who checked me in wasn't the most enthusiastic, so I wasn't taking the chance of that turning into a negative experience. 3. If I was moved to another room that was just as bad, I was going to be upset. Not sure what housekeeping is doing, but that bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned at all! Cleaning the toilet goes far beyond cleaning the inside of the toilet bowl. There were nasty spots on the outside of the toilet; the base wasn't clean. Only God knows what was in the floor near the corner of the shower. I noticed hair as soon as I put the floor mat down to shower. Seeing those baseboards, I couldn't believe this was a Hilton property. You don't have to clean baseboards daily, but clearly these hadn't been touched in a very long time. There were spots on the shower curtain & hair in the shower. There was something dark on the sink right behind the faucet. I have no idea what it was & I wasn't trying to find out. There were black spots on the tile in the shower. I don't think it was mold. I think it was residue from a person or something they used in the shower but no one actually touched the tile to clean it. The bed was comfortable. However, the spots on the headboard were gross. With it being upholstery, the stains may just come out with a little product and elbow grease. It was evident that the spots had been there a while and no one even tried to do anything. Just make the bed and throw the pillows on top. Breakfast was from 6 am - 10 am. What gave this review 3 stars instead of 2 was the breakfast and the breakfast attendant. She spoke to everyone. She made sure there was no cross contamination with the tongs. If you needed help with the waffle iron, she assisted you. I think there was a problem with turning the mini waffle iron; she helped me to turn it & said it would probably be going out of service as she had trouble turning it too and showed me how she had been burned earlier. There was a full size & a mini waffle iron with malted vanilla or blueberry battery; plenty of topping choices to include whipped cream. I enjoyed the quality but spreadable butter. I didn't try any bakery items, but there were plenty of muffins, bread choices, and I believe banana bread and another bread that appeared to have cranberries in it. I can't eat oatmeal but there was some available. No juice in the juice machine on Fri, but the attendant offered to bring you some orange juice if you wanted it; the machine was available on Sat. On Fri, the hot bar had cheese omelets, bacon, and pancakes. I enjoyed the omelets; the bacon was a little salty. On Sat, there was scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and redskin potatoes. There was a good selection of cold cereal with 2% & skim milk; ran out of 2% on Sat. They also had fruit (bananas; apples; oranges). Besides the bananas, the fruit wasn't sweet. The 3rd shift person wasn't behind the front desk when I came in but was nice enough to offer to put my drink on my room's tab without making me wait to scan it. I overslept a little after breakfast on Sat. I called the front desk a few minutes before noon to let them know I wouldn't be downstairs right at noon but I'd be checking out shortly. A few minutes after noon, housekeeping was checking to see if I was staying over. I told him I was on my way out. By 12:10 pm, I was downstairs, dropping my key in the box. Sat in the lobby waiting for my friend to pick me up as a few others lingered in the same area. That's when I noticed the TVs in that space. I'd return again when in the city, but some improvements are needed. Commotion in the hallway Sat around 7:10 am; woke up to yelling.

Our room had plumbing issues (leaking toilet and screeching shower), but the real problem was the atmosphere. The hotel reeked of marijuana, and we were subjected to loud, inappropriate noise from people "partying" after visiting the strip club across the street.
