More mold starting on lower parts of shower and base
    DM C.

Mid Nov 2024 stayed 5 days - Newer property figured great. - Wrong! HOW COULD A PLACE ONLY A FEW YRS OLD BE SO POORLY TAKEN CARE OF ? Filthy floors in bathroom, mold in shower, stains on curtains (blood??) No face or hand towels, (one day they took my used bath towel that i had left on the floor to be replaced, folded it and put it back on the towel bar). Stains on duvet cover, Dirt and dust bunnies on carpet around bed, and never replaced cups or in room coffee or ice bucket. BROKEN GLASS in hallway and they left it after i told the head of housekeeping (she said she vacuumed it herself - if so, it explains why the place looks soo bad for such a young property - that woman does not care and it shows). I have stayed in 40 yr old Motel 6's that had better housekeeping and cleanliness. Sad..... One upside, location is very good -

Will never stay here again if I could rate 0 stars I would got charged 50 dollars a day parking and on our last night we come back n find 3 roaches in our bed and one on the night stand packed up all of our things and went to the front desk told the staff she said sorry and then said we don't have another room to put you in but we could put you in a dirty room I can try and tidy up but the bed would still be dirty me and my wife slept in our car I complained to corporate they tried to say sometimes people try and make excuses to get refunds like sir I live in a million dollar house why would I have to make a excuse for a 250 a night hotel is beyond me

Love to visit SpringHill Suites. This location was exactly what I expected. Great service, rooms are comfortable, clean, and the mattresses are amazing. Breakfast is included and give you a great start of the day. Freshly made waffles, scrambled eggs, patties, coffee, tea, and much more. I love SpringHill Suites.

We saw the glowing review and thought to check this place out. Previously we stayed at the Element Spring Valley which was amazing. This hotel is just one notch below in many ways. For pool times they allow up to 15 guests at a time which was recently upped from 10. Every state has slightly different regulations. A hot tub here would be much welcomed in the future. Depending on when you go the pool could be at max capacity or totally empty. Sign ups happen same day. They call this hotel the suites. Our room did not have a separate bedroom from living space. There is a fridge and microwave. Grab & go breakfast consists of a small bottle of water with muffin, apple, and granola bar.

I have no clue why there are so many low reviews of this fantastic and fun hotel. During the day, it's quiet as a mouse allowing me to do all of the work I need to do. In the early evening the place transforms into a fantastic place to meet up and hang out. Bob, the bartender, make a weary business traveler's life bearable. He provides excellent service! The folks hanging out for a drink at night in the lobby are always friendly with amazing stories. I will be back, often!

Our room was spacious, on the third floor and was very clean, however one of the lamps in the room did not work. There was a small coffee bar with pods provided, and water cups. Shower had good water pressure and there was ample towels provided. The bed was comfortable but the pillows sucked. The room they had our event in was spacious, and clean as well. They served food (one meat (chicken), mashed potatoes and two different times of veggies, three different salad options with dressings and an assortment of breads. Dinner was great, desserts were so so. But they did have a large assortment of those as well. Water, lemonade & iced tea were all available on each table and there was also a bar available for cocktails or beers. I'd recommend using this space for future events for anyone looking.

The hallways and the room itself had a strong smell of bleach. I appreciate having a clean and disinfected room but this was a LOT of bleach. Our room was also showing signs of age: mold on the caulk ring around the tub spout; one upholstered headboard had what I can only describe as claw marks; and there was a line on one wall running along the ceiling that probably wasn't mold, but looked too much like mold not to resolve. There were also two hairs on the shower enclosure by the shampoo dispenser etc. Noise was tolerable. Occasionally car or motorcycle noise was quite loud. The usual children running in the hallway at 9am. Didn't hear anything from adjacent rooms other than door slamming, but we did have white noise playing pretty loudly. There was a wedding so I have to guess that we were far away from the guests. You have your choice of paid valet parking or Self parking in the back. We chose self parking. There aren't a ton of spots so I don't know what happens if they are full. Your room key gives you access to a rear entrance from the parking lot. There's a sign--we found the door, but the door itself was not clearly marked. It also lets you into a stairwell that feels slightly sketch. If I were a single woman I might feel uncomfortable using it. Perhaps a silly point but I hate that they pipe in music in front of the inn. It feels so cheap to me and so unnecessary. Just a pet peeve. In conclusion, I would avoid coming back. This feels like a place where standards and maintenance are starting to slip.

We usually stay here when visiting friends in the area. The rooms don't seem well constructed-while were were simply walking around the room for less than 10 minutes the front desk called to say the guests below us were complaining about stomping. At that point, we were already siting down, which suggests the floors are poorly insulated. Breakfast was the standard Hampton Inn offering and fairly average. The location is the bigger plus-close to friends, along with several of our old favorite restaurants and coffee shops. The staff is friendly, and the hotel does offer a workout room and pool. Overall, its a decent place to stay, but there's room for improvement.

He likes to charge people's charge account after the booking was canceled in advanced and yet claims they checked in, but somehow cannot show proof, license, or video that the guest was there. And then when asked to provide proof, he sends me and the bank somebody else's information. Definitely a privacy and HIPAA violation. Glad I have that customer's name, address and number, I sent him a nice letter to inform him. Funny part of this story was I cancelled the original booking because of a location error and rebooked to a Holiday Inn but a different location and checked into that location... lol so I guess I'm a magician that can be at two places the same time!! Scan and fraud.... Wonder if corporate knows he violated someone's personal privacy.

It's also dirty, not kept up with broken bathroom shelving and dark/dingy. To make matters worse, desk help chases me out of breakfast room because I have a service animal?! What?!? She is small, totally quiet and very well trained. I am SO embarrassed!!! Policeman shows up and talks to the desk clerk. Worst residence Inn experience EVER- Ugh!! Our company headquarters is in Rocky Hill, so we've stayed here consistently several times per year…read moresince 2008. The staff is always friendly with the common areas always very nice, however, room experience varies widely here. You definitely do not want a room that is on the South side facing outwards towards West Street or towards the I-91 exit. There is tremendous road noise all night long making it hard to get a good night's sleep. If you have a room that's facing the interior courtyard or the North side, you can rest quite peacefully. If you're unfortunate enough to get one of their disabled/accessible rooms, often those are not as well maintained, have broken items such as curtains (see photo), and fixtures are uncomfortably sized for a taller person. They should better maintain them and limit these rooms for people that actually need them. Overall, we still rate the property with 4 stars because barring the location/type of room mentioned, the rest of the hotel is quite nice. We're basing this on 17 years of stays here. We regularly choose Residence Inn when traveling for business and have stayed in several in nearly every state (we are Marriott Lifetime Titanium Elite Members). This hotel is predominantly a good to great stay. There are comments about it being dated decor, which we think is less about this location and more about the Residence Inn brand as a whole. We find this consistent and nicer than most we've stayed in within the brand. Our only reason for 4 vs. 5 stars is the noisy South side and that over the years we've been given one of these accessible rooms despite being listed on our profile that we do not want one.

The layout of the rooms in the double king room suite are just what our little family needs. plenty of space, neat layout, two TVs and sofa in the room. Since the renovation, there is no padding under the carpets, so walking is heard all through the hotel. Also hard on the knees. Kids running is a nightmare sound upstairs. Hotel has issues for sure - probably due to revenue issues. Our current trip the door lock did not work with the key (door lock battery was drained) - second room, same thing, battery down. That issue was fixed when we left for the day, so that was a forced issue fix. Our room was fine this time, AC worked, TVs worked, great shower and clean. As others have stated, there is no breakfast served anymore (SEP2024 - so not a COVID thing - must be revenue issue) Sad to see when you cannot even get a cup of coffee out there (who trusts the in room coffee maker??) There are some workers who are pretty short with guests, so I have had that too - but not this trip. Overall, the location and room type is what we seek when in the area, and this room and the 110$ rate cannot be beat - 2 kings, sofa, 2 TVs is a great space with kids - we can overlook the other shortcomings - though as stands - a 5 star rating is pretty hard to come by, but 4s are easy...

If it was all about the cleanliness and Quality of the room, this review would get 5 stars. Plus the value is great. The reason this review has 2 stars is because of my experience checking in.
