Checking in was not really an issue..the details of feather Free because of down allergies family (even though I had called multiple times the day of and prior to this trip to line everything out) then to have to personally switch out the pillows because of down allergies in the family after it was already on my reservation...(- 1 star) Needless to say I have learned a valuable lesson. This hotel is in a fantastic location! Smells clean and IS clean. We had a short stay here to visit family. The layout of the king suite was great. The trundle bed under the sleeper couch was pretty cool. (Sheets for by request) (+1 star) The pool was heated & indoor and the girls loved it. There was a soccer /softball tournament nearby that had the hotel full of younger kids. We had two toddlers with us... So no big deal. Breakfast was pretty decent [Eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, potatoes peppers sausage mix. cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt] The food/cleaning staff all very friendly and accommodating (+2 stars) The warm commons area had a nice layout and didn't feel crammed at all (+1 star) This hotel location is easy to find and surrounding area has quite a few food/entertainment options within a walk away. (+1 star) After a short talk with the General manager about my check in experience I feel a lot better about this being our choice hotel for our return whenever we return to Tulsa area (She should be commended! Apple watch was stolen, FIND MY showed it still at the hotel. I called, talked to RJ who did do some checking; then said someone had found one recently, he would check further and call me. NO CALL. The whole plumbing stopper mechanism was missing from our sink, so open drain. Could smell sewage while washing your face. Family members got rooms not clean so left for another hotel. Location good; breakfast ok. Still, considering, keep looking elsewhere. read more

First the good. RJ is the good. He took my reservations, endured the multiple changes to arrival and departure times, and never let me feel that I was inconveniencing him at all. RJ should be a manager. He is that good. Always wearing a tie and looking professional. His demeanor is pleasant and helpful. I never felt I was bothering him or taking him away from some other task he might have. RJ gets 5+ stars. I can't say enough good things about him. The hotel itself is another story. The welcome mat in the entrance was never swept the 8 days we were staying there. First impressions mean a lot. The carpets in the hall are old, stained, and didn't get the vacuuming they needed. I think the hotel might have been understaffed as far as cleaning personnel. I saw one young lady getting an interview while we were there, so staffing may have been a reason for the less than pristine appearance indoors. The rooms are poorly designed. That's some architect's fault. A massive TV interferes with travel around the end of the bed as one tries to access the bathroom or the desk area. I'm not sure why they were designed this way. Maybe it's an older building that has been retrofitted. Did I mention that RJ at the reservation desk is the best? He really is. I met most of the desk staff and they were all pleasant. Some a little more than others, but RJ shines like a bright beacon compared to all the rest. Seriously, if everyone was an RJ, people would flock to this place just to get a good feeling from the front desk. The free breakfast was fairly typical with slight variations daily. One could always find something to eat, if one was careful enough to avoid the moldy food. Yep, I saw mold on an English muffin, and my wife showed me mold in a Jam packet. I don't know if it's storage issues, or keeping things beyond their freshness, but watch the food carefully. It would be great if this hotel, and many others, joined the 21st century and installed some touch screen coffee machines. The kind that grind, brew, and serve the coffee concoction you've requested from the screen. I only drink black, so mine is easy. Because I drink black, I can always tell if I've got a good cup of coffee. The black water from a thermal coffee dispenser is not good enough anymore. Even gas stations (Sheetz Pizza) have the grind and brew machines, and their coffee is as good as any coffee shop. Maybe better. Leaving the coffee available all day would be nice, too. Maybe even a little fresh water dispenser for thirsty people. Regardless, RJ made the stay worthwhile, and if he isn't the manager of one of these hotels within the next year, Marriott is messing up big time. He has leadership talents and abilities. He is noticeably a step above his co-workers. That's not a slam against the other folks, they were what one would expect, he's just that good. read more

The stay was miserable. We were there for a volleyball tournament and we didn't get any rest bc of how loud it was due to other guests. We complained to the front desk but the noise went on for a long time after. We were so tired the next morning from our sleep being disturbed. Upon waking, we noticed how filthy the white linen was. Mind you we got to the room around 9:30-10:00 pm after the all day tournament so we showered and went to bed immediately. So there was no time examining the cleanliness. This had to be the most disappointing stay at a hotel property I've had in recent memory. I am low maintenance because I work in customer support. This stay was not great. The property is older, which reflects in the price. The front desk staff seemed fine, if new/undertrained. The biggest thing for me is not the mistakes, but how they were handled. There were no wash cloths in the entire hotel when I needed to take a shower. We only had one in a room with a double bed that I was sharing with my Mom. I had to grab one off a random cleaning cart after roaming the hallways. I'd requested towels through the app, but they were never delivered. When I went to the front desk to ask why, I was told the cleaning crew doesn't start until 9AM. I guess that's when they'd be doing the laundry. I couldn't check out in the app because my bill was wrong. They never corrected my bill even though the hotel manager said that I should a credit on my credit card. I emailed Marriott corporate, but they still routed my issue back to local franchise. So then I got promised points. Yay? What happened to my bill being corrected? There were other issues as well that are too lengthy to type here. I will never stay here again. It just wasn't worth the hassle. read more

Nice big clean rooms with friendly folks. Swimming pool area is nice and clean and open until 11:00 am. Lobby area is nicely appointed and location is close and convenient to Woodland Hills Mall. Breakfast is above average. All in all a very nice property. read more

If you are looking for a great place to stay while visiting Tulsa, look no further. We have business meetings a few times a year in Tulsa and this is our hotel of choice. The Spring Hill Suites was recently renovated, so it is very new. When you walk in, you will notice that the lobby is very modern-looking. The employees are always cheerful at check-in and will let you know when breakfast is served. I love that breakfast is included in the price of the room. The rooms are very comfortable. They have flat screen TV's, yes, I said TV's (plural). Since these are Suites, there is a couch which faces one TV (and I think the couch can pull out for a bed although I am not positive) and there is a TV where you can watch from the bed (or beds if you get the 2-queen option). There is also a desk for working (free internet) and there is a refrigerator/microwave area as well. Everything you need is in this room. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Fuddrucker's, Abuelo's, Texas Road House, Chipotle, Carraba's and many more are basically just across the street and there are many more in the area. The IMAX and movie theater is right across the street from the hotel. There is also a Target just up the street in case you forgot your toothpaste! The location is ideal. I always take advantage of the treadmill in the fitness center while I am there. Even though I am a road runner, I think that their treadmills are nicer than most places. The room tends to get a bit warm so you can really get a good sweat going. Overall, I love this place and recommend it! read more

In town for a friends graduation and residence inn was sold out. For the money the rooms are ok the decor is decent however the hideous wallpaper in the bathroom and vanity area detracts from the overall feel of the room. Bathroom exhaust fan sounded like a jet engine. Cheerleader group on our floor was quite noisy and a bit obnoxious but seemed to quiet down later. Overall good value but I prefer residence inn. read more

Took my wife and 3yr old daughter on a quick weekend getaway. Found this hotel for only 7500 points which was a steal. We got a suite room with a king bed. The room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and there was a nice large couch that was good for relaxing and watching tv. The hotel staff was extremely nice and went the extra mile. Before bed my daughter usually has milk and the hotel staff opened the breakfast area so I could get a couple of milks. We had a great time and will stay here again as it is very close to the Woodland Hills Mall and many restaurants. read more

I checked in the hotel on 9/12/2018 and was told there would be a hold of $20.00 per night, $60.00 total, placed on my debit card. The clerk, Sierra, ran my card and said the the charge was declined. The manager ran my card again and the charge was accepted. I went to my room and as I was heading out to get dinner I checked my account balance, my account was $100.00 plus overdrawn, Sierra had put a hold of $187.00 on my account. At this point I have a hold of over $247.00 on my account. I go to the front desk and ask Sierra why she attempted to run $187.00 plus on my account. She never answered my question and started talking about her manager standing right next to her during the transaction, this was irrelevant to my question. Sierra, called her manager and was told that there was nothing they could do until the following morning, for me this was not acceptable and I insisted that she make the correction so I could buy food and gas that night. Sierra did not apologize for her mistake nor did she offer me food from the hotel and she called security on me because I was upset. The security officer (Jay Tellez), from Jarvis Inc., arrived and was unprofessional. He had nothing positive to contribute and was making snide unnecessary comments. I called the police. When the police arrived Tellez told the officers that I had been put off of the property. When the Tulsa police officer asked Sierra if I had been put off of the property her response was no additionally when I spoke with Andrea Denna-Velasquez the following day and asked her if she told security to remove me from the property her response to me was no. In my opinion Tellez was not truthful in his conversation with the police. In conclusion, I had no choice but to remain at the hotel as my stay was prepaid through Priceline. I felt extremely uncomfortable, so much so that I blocked my door each night. With the exception of the lady who is the housekeeping supervisor no one apologized for their mistake, no not even the general manager, Andrea Denna-Velasquez. read more

Spent a total of three hours at this hotel, at which point I began to scratch multiple bites. Left the hotel for an hour came back to same scenario. No doubt in my mind it was bedbug bites. Expressed my concern to staff, they did very little to assist. Ended up leaving at 1 AM. Thankfully hotels.com got me my money back. Would not advise anyone go to this hotel ever. read more

The room doesn't have everything the website says it does. It's very dirty. I felt like I needed to wash my hands when I left there. The corner molding was taped to the wall. There was trash on the floor. This was the room we got after we complained that the first one was too dirty. The only thing wrong with this hotel is the building itself- well, and the lack of some great AC. The building has been updated really well but the old walls and design of the space can't be escaped. The hotel has extremely nice artwork, fixtures and a lobby. Plus, customer service is amazing! The space is large but it feels like you are in a dorm room a bit. There was even a ceiling fan in the office area, which to me was strange. Would I stay here again? Maybe. BUT, I am extremely picky about hotels. Definitely don't rule this one out if the price is right. read more

They were so friendly and helpful, and were very quick to make things nice for us when the fire alarm went off several times in one week, once at 12:30am. I am a Marriott loyal, so I will stay here for the three nights. They have no beer even in the marketplace, no ATM. Staff is friendly rooms are what you would expect from a Spring Hill. Normally stay at the Renaissance when I'm in town, but they did not have the government rate. They will work as a backup whenever the Renaissance is full. Plenty of decent restaurants within walking distance. read more

The decor must have been updated since the other reviews were posted, because this was a nice, mostly modern styled hotel. Good for the price. Close to Super Target! (: We had a king bed and pull out sofa bed. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable, but would be ok for kids. Breakfast was better than the usual continental you get. Overall stay was positive.
