Friendly hotel staff Free parking Complimentary hot breakfast (For a Friday morning, it was open from 6A-930AM) - Sausage, eggs - Yogurts, Bread, Muffins - Apples/Bananas - Various Juices/Coffee Clean spaces, Two Queen beds. Trundle sofa couch One TV in room, that can rotate towards couch or beds Bathroom was spacious. When the light was on you could see an outline of a person's body standing at the sink or outside of the shower Walk in Closet for clothes/iron/ironing board. Could put several suit cases in there You can control your heat/air Great shades for darkness and curtains to allow light There is a lobby bar and rooftop bar also open at certain times Car card needed to access elevators to go up Sheetz convenience store and gas station is directly next to the hotel. We stayed here this past weekend to meet up with family and celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. From check in to check out every staff member was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard for a free breakfast but the fruit was fresh and they had actual scrambled eggs. Lots of other options were available. Room was clean with plenty of space. No issues. And a big shout out to June at the rooftop bar where our family gathered every night to hang out, tell stories and catch up. She was so friendly and accommodating making sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed. June rocks!!! read more

This place is terrible. I'm staying here right now and I'm seriously going to eat the cost and Uber back to DC. The rooms are remodeled but the staff is terrible. They forgot to put sheets on one of the beds, forgot trash bags, broken electrical outlets, fridge is frosted over, one set of toiletries for 3 people...so when I asked them to make the bed they said "we don't do that!" A hotel that doesn't make beds! wtf! Then they have this complete crap key card system. Literally every other guest we met made fun of their crap technology, because everyone was having problems with it. I just went to the front desk to ask why the bar is closed 45 minutes early, because we came back specifically because of the bar, and he told us it IS open. Then acted dumb when we showed him the gate was down and lights were off. Also!!! We went to the bar at 5 when it was supposed to be open and waited until 5:15 and there was nobody working! This crap hotel is 15 minutes from everything. $250! I wouldn't stay here again for $89! read more

The room was nice and pretty big, both the bathroom and closet were spacious. Cleaning staff did an excellent job with upkeep, and the front desk staff were pleasant and welcoming (Sarah, one of the employees at the front desk went above and beyond with ensuring that my friends and I were comfortable and felt welcome in the lobby). Breakfast and checkout were at a reasonable time, and the food served was good. My only complaints were that the door was quite loud when shutting, and there wasn't a heating source for the chafing dishes, so a few hours after breakfast started some of the food was a bit cold. Specifically, the 4 Star is because the walls are a bit thin and you can hear the hallway really easily and also the Lobby Bar closed earlier than I was told. Outside of these 2 things, great stay! No issues with the room. It was very clean and comfortable. Location of this was only 8 min from my family, so very convenient and also the Sheetz next door is great for food ordering, gad and other quick things you need. read more

This is a newer hotel that we stayed at while we were in Frederick Maryland. It is right next to a Sheetz store. It I had a nice swimming pool that my kids enjoyed it had a continental breakfast that we got to enjoy and overall a clean neat hotel. It had a room with a bed that was also had a pull out couch bed that my kids slept on so that was enjoyable that we all didn't have to cram into one large bed. I stayed at the Spring Hill Suites in Frederick, Md on the 19th of August 2022. I travel about 23 weeks a year and this stay was not one of my best experiences. There was only one towel with no floor mats. You could hear the doors slam whenever another guest came or left their room all evening. The roof top bar was nice but very crowded due to none guests being allowed up, understand the need for customers but there should be a limit. read more

The hotel itself is okay. Pool is very small. They have a rooftop bar with 2 firepits. But you can't bring food to the rooftop; there is a bar, however. The problem is their policy of cleaning rooms. They only clean rooms every 3rd night. I was not told that until I inquire about the lack of clean towels and clean linen. Our room was NEVER cleaned in the 5 days we were there. This has nothing to do with COVID-19 or lack of staff - it's their policy (they are part of the Marriott family of hotels). Then there was the billing fiasco - when trying to deal with the "manager" I got thr runaround. There are a lot of better hotels in Federick. I'd stay away from this one. read more

Had a pleasant check in at the front desk and wonderful experience with the bartender Grayson, even though they were out of every liquor I wanted and then when I wanted Corona instead they didn't even have that or limes! But he was able to make me another drink to my liking. Rooms are nice but the whole place is just poorly managed and they weren't welcoming besides the aforementioned individuals. Stay at a bed and breakfast instead downtown and save yourself the hassle and don't bother with this "Marriott" property. read more

I had a 2 day stay at this hotel and I truly recommend it. My room was immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious. Had all the amenities I needed to do my work. The staff was wonderful, accommodating, professional and very friendly. I travel a lot for work (2-3 a month) and this stay by far was one of the best I have had and trust me, I have experienced the good, bad and ugly. Was here recently for a wedding. Rooms don't get cleaned when you ask, but they do when you ask them not to? Breakfast is depressing. WiFi was on the fritz. It's nowhere near approximal to downtown, despite them divulging it to be. When the friend I was staying here with went to checkout in the morning, the bill was completely erroneous. We got so much of a posh stonewalling, for so long, that he just paid it so we didn't have to suffer another absurdly, irrational deception. The lexicon goes on with everything morbidly lackluster about this glorified tenement. Save for one man... That bartender was cooler than Freddy Jackson sipping a milkshake in a snowstorm! It started right at the beginning when we thought this place was in a downtown community but wasn't and none of us knew how to get there. Which was necessary because even though they lead people, for what ever reason, to believe they serve food, they don't. He listed off like 12 places and told us, "no matter where y'all go, just tell them 'Grayson sent ya.'" We went to FOUR different bars/restaurants downtown and EVERYONE knew him lol. He made lemonade without lemons (which is more literal than you would think). There was next to nothing behind the bar and he made it happen, Captain! Everyone we were with had an amazing night while we were up there. My man can quote wisdom from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to Marcus Aurelius to Moses. At different points throughout the spectacle he put on for us, he spoke in at least 3 different languages accurately. He even gave flowers to the women and gave us his personal cell number in case we needed, and I quote, "literally anything." Then he transcended himself and gave each of us a gift from his backpack, from his PERSONAL BELONGINGS that somehow was both appropriate, and by surprise, essential to each individual. This man's headshot should be next to "Benevolent Hospitality" in the dictionary. In closing, I know this is a 1 star review for the rest of this equivocally, sequestered edifice; but the Marine veteran who regaled us that evening with stories and historical references and jokes, etc. gets 6 ****** ¡Semper Fi Papi Blanco! read more

Management is horrible here. Went into the rooftop bar over several weeks since it a nice spot to unwind-- however, the bar was horribly stocked. They had 3 liquor bottles behind the bar and they tried pushing awful canned cocktails-- apparently management refused to purchase a liquor order. SAD. Regardless the bar service was great. I love Marriott properties but this is substandard. read more

One of the most disappointing stays I've ever had and I travel frequently for my work. The place is nice and I've stayed before without issue but this time loud music started in an adjoining room at 11 PM and continued well past 4 AM. I called the front desk and no one answered so I went to the desk and no one was to be found for 30 minutes. I could've carried the entire lobby out the front door and recreated it in the parking lot before anyone came by the desk. When the guy appeared (not from the direction of the stairs or elevator) he told me he was off addressing the noise. When I returned to my room, the music was still just as loud. I called again and the operator line was busy or just rang for another 30 minutes. When this same guy answered I told him it hadn't stopped. He told me he would address it. Another 30 minutes and no change. I called again. Same no answer/busy. Finally, I get him and tell him it's still not stopped. He asked me where it was coming from? "Is it on the 2nd floor?", he asked. I said "Dude, I'm on the 5th floor. You can see that right?" He apologized and said he would address it. Again no change. I called him again and told him if he was unable to handle this, maybe he should call the cops or his manager. I then said, "Who is your manager?" as this had gotten ridiculous. HE WOULDN'T TELL ME. HE promised to address it again. Nothing changed. I gave up and watched TV. My wife and I had a very long drive the next day and were exhausted. Thanks, SpringHill. Super professional. read more
