The staff is friendly. The hotel is decent and is undergoing renovations. It is in a great location. The pillows look fluffy, but they get flat once you lay on them. The full breakfast is very good.

I am totally brand loyal and I certainly didn't expect the Ritz checking in but this was under par for a Springhill suites. Staff was very nice but that's where the positives end. The room was pretty clean however there was a nice brown stain on one of the towels. When we asked go get it replaced we were given a pool towel which is slightly bigger than a hand towel. The room could definitely use a little update especially the bed. Worst. Bed. Ever. Super duper soft. It wasn't like plush and fluffy. It was like old with a dip in the middle. Breakfast was the absolute worst I've ever experienced at a Marriott. Ever. The sausage patties lay in a pan of murky water so I skipped that one. The bread was harder than a rock. The woman was so sweet and replaced it for me. She definitely was the highlight of the hotel. OJ was out but again she remedied that. Fresh fruit included shriveled grapes (not quite raisins...or wine) and one lone apple. It was just disgusting. On a side note (and this didn't even affect my rating) none of our platinum status items were in our room. No extra towels, pillows, water etc. since that's a luxury and not expected it doesn't reflect how I feel about this property...it doesn't really need to. It's definitely one of the worst properties I've ever stayed at.

One of the better options to stay in Cheyenne, WY. This town has many refineries and also headquarters of the company Sierra Trading, so there is no dearth of hotels. But don't expect to find a four seasons in this small town. This Springhill Suites hotel has a fresh look, rooms look updated with flat screen TVs, carpets seem new too! Like other Marriott hotels this one has a small but good gym and laundry facilities are also on premises, which we used. Breakfast is included in the room rate and ample parking space, though the spots right outside the front of the hotel seem to get filled pretty well in the evenings. Lobby area has grab and go section for food, fruits and snacks as well as a pretty well stocked refrigerated food section that also has a variety of TV dinner options. Verdict: all in all a really good place to stay in Cheyenne. Pro Tip: get coins for the laundry machines from the front desk.

The roads were bad and last night we were glad to be there, but Marriott could be and should be more consistent. This hotel is not as nice as the other Springhill Suites we have stayed at - the rooms don't even have the same layout. The room was very hot and we could not get it to cool off. As with some other Marriot brand hotels we have stayed at, breakfast doesn't start on Sat. until 7am so if you want to get on the road early "free breakfast" turns into "pay at McDonalds". I STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THERE MUST BE POOL AND HOT TUB "HOURS" WHEN THERE IS NO SUPERVISION. You can drown at 10:am just the same as 6:am, right? I really would have appreciated being able to get up early, sit in the hot tub for a few minutes with a cup of coffee, then get a little breakfast and hit the road early. As it was, we got up put our clothes on and left.

The room also had a sofa with a pullout couch and two queen beds, which worked great for a family of four.

They have a happy hour 3-5 where some appetizers are half off. So I tried the deviled eggs. The Ambiance gives off this sexy and upscale vibe. Great place to take someone on a date if you are trying to impress them. Not sure what it feels like with people in it but the decor and furnishings were nicer than some of the other local restaurants. I ordered the seared salmon and deviled eggs. Seared salmon - 4/10 The salmon was pretty good and not fatty, but it was covered in the burre blanc sauce that totally over powered it. It made it flavorful but salty. The quinoa on the side was a large serving and it was probably good that it was a little bland so it balanced out the salmon. Now... I love Brussels sprouts but these were not it. The seasoning and the texture was all off. Not good. I did end up eating all of the salmon and quinoa. Deviled eggs - 2/10 Not seasoned well. They simply tasted like hard boiled eggs with paprika. I am not sure if I just ordered things that were not great or if I came in on an off day but I wouldn't suggest coming here to eat. But I would come and sit at the bar on a date. The server said that their pastas were great and their burgers. She also said their seafood was good. So if there is a next time I would try their burger but definitely not these 2 dishes.

There will be dirt, poop, feathers, hair, urine, and unkempt struck and other things gentle folk may find unsavory. We found the ranch charming. We have experienced many close encounters with wild bison and most were less than rewarding, but exciting. Terry removes this. The train creaks, and groans into the herd. Despite coping with…read moreownership changes, fires, Covid shutdowns and bad economies, this restaurant is a survivor. The decor is part rustic, part casual, part strange, but very comfortable in a cozy way. It's probably as close to "fine dining" as you'll find in the Cheyenne area, with a high-end "country club" menu that doesn't look like it has changed much in 65 years. I mean, where else would you find Frog Legs in a Rocky Mountain restaurant with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and Perry Como on the background music? Steaks, chops, chicken, fish & shrimp will give any diner an array of choices. Everything we ordered was really very good (see pictures), not spectacular, but taste and quality was well worth the price. And, the bar knows how to mix great cocktails! Plus, service was OUTSTANDING, with our waitress, Cheyenne (seriously), who could not have been more helpful & pleasant all evening. Bottom line: I'm giving Little Bear Inn 4 solid stars, with one caveat if you'd like to get to 5 stars: I'm asking management to do a little more on plate presentation. The food is great, but it's served as if we are in a cafeteria, with no thought in the kitchen to making it "look pretty" before it gets to the table. I'm sure the kitchen can do better with some effort. A little more attention to making your dishes look as good as they taste would go a long way to keeping customers happy. I'll definitely be back, but I'm hoping for just a little more effort in dish presentation.
