Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is in a good area and pretty quiet with the exception of hearing the guests occasionally walking around above us or hearing other guests through the walls which were pretty thin. Beds were very comfy and the room was very clean with daily housekeeping service. Kitchenette is very small and does not have a stove so not the type of place to stay if you are planning on preparing your own meals (does have a microwave and mini fridge but no utensils nor cups or plates). Bathroom and shower has all the amenities except the body wash pump was broken so we had to open it from the top to get the soap out. Room was also very stuffy so we had to constantly keep the air on and lowering the thermostat til it got to a comfortable temperature. Breakfast buffet is included but was disappointing as no protein such as bacon or sausage is offered other than four types of eggs (scrambled, mini quiches/omelettes and boiled eggs) and no bread nor bagels for toasting, just some cold biscuits, scones, and mini muffins along with some regular packaged muffins (juice and coffee is available), as well as cold cereals and oatmeal. Lastly, the gym is very nice (but small) and there is an indoor swimming pool as well. Small laundry facility is available for 1.25/load. Property is very clean and lots of parking around the entire property is available. Overall, a decent, comfortable to stay but one star short of making it an excellent place to stay!

Last minute trip to simply get away for the day. Booked through (Hotels.com) taxes and everything it was $100. Disappointments: no hot tub / also the bathtub is very shallow. Delights: clean and spacious room. The couch is from West Elm and has a pull out trundle bed. We LOVE rooms with a third bed for our family. Cason liked the pool. It was open. They have reasonable Covid precautions.

"They wear it well, a little new fashioned but that's allright." With apologies to Rod Stewart for mangling the lyric that ran through my head during a recent multiple day stay at this Springhill Suites where I first stayed in late 2005ish right after they opened. Now as then the 'mid century modern fashion forward' interior styling isn't my thing. And frankly Springhill isn't my favorite of the formats in the Marriott family of hotels. (See This N That.) But this property seemed more welcoming and in better shape during this visit than it did when it was newly opened. They wear it well. Would stay here again. More pros than cons. PROS: *Convenient location to Eagle or Boise. *Ample parking in lot. *Accessible from lot throughout all public spaces. *Friendly, efficient staff. *Well maintained and sparkling clean throughout; public spaces and rooms. *Decent size indoor pool (with access lift) and gym if you're looking for those. *Free breakfast in lobby with unique options like cold cuts if that's your thing. *Studio suite format rooms with work desk and sofa in main living room space. *Fridge and microwave in good working order. *Free and fast wifi. *In room lighting much better than average. *Good water pressure in shower; has grab bar as good safety feature. *Nice, crispy ,cotton percale sheets on bed. *Quiet at night. Yahoo. (See This N That.) CONS: *No quality yogurt at breakfast...only non fat and artificially sweetened. Is Nancy's or Fage too much to ask? *Beds are passable but not super comfortable and creaky. *Ditto pillows...except for the creaky part. *Towels are marginal. Way. THIS N THAT: 1) SCHOOL SPORTS TEAMS : Springhill Suites seem a magnet for big groups of traveling high school athletes. Never fails, up to now, that when I've stay at at a Springhill I find boys teams and girls teams pile out of cars and buses and check in to have foot races and parties in the hallway late into the evening complete with slamming doors. I've had that experience enough in cities around the US, including the Parkcenter Boise Springhill, that it is one of the reasons I avoid this format. Yes. I was once that age. I do remember. But I am not that age now. Now I am a crumudgeon and prefer not to have this hallway 'entertainment' into early morning. A friiend of mine says she is too old and too rich to put up with this when paying for a hotel room. I say I am simply too old. I'm happy to say there were no sports teams at this Springhill. Maybe it was just the luck of the draw this time and next time I won't be so lucky. But it was sweet respite. 2) ROOM TIPS: Rooms facing front will get morning sun and be cooler. Rooms facing back will get afternoon sun and be warmer. As you face the entry of the building, rooms to the left hand side are further from main throughway and quieter. 3) DON'T KNOW THE SONG lyric I mangled in opening? Here ya go. I was about the age of those hall runners when I was turning this up full blast to dance and sing along. I said I remember. :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxoom-mGJ-U

We are from Portland. We were on a family ghost town adventure and stopped here to visit my grandma. I was to tired to drive home as it was late last night so we got a room. The rooms are nice, bed are soft so if you like firm you won't like them. The staff is friendly, Paul Mitchell soaps and hair products for showers. Breakfast was great grab and go but cereal, jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches, milk, muffins, juice, hunny buns. My family loves it. I had yogurt and I had surgery so can't eat most stuff. Pool area is nice. Room was big and clean. I would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

    Super clean!

A pure delight. I obtained a deal through hotwire for this one-night stay with my girlfriends. We needed a clean, comfortable room just west of Boise and that's exactly what we got. Staying at this property sort of restored my faith in three star properties as this is probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Beginning with the location, it's going to be a few minutes from Meridian and about a 15+ minute drive from Downtown Boise. It's quietly located right on Chinden viewing the hills to the north and just east of a few local businesses. There is ample parking on their private lot as well. Check-in was a snap! When we arrived to our room, I LOVED IT. The high wall-ceilings, lighting, amenities, kitchenette, bathroom, and vanity all offered enough space for three ladies. The beds were very comfortable and it was pretty spacious overall. Oh, there's free wifi too! A few minutes after putting our bags down we got a call: "Is everything perfect in the room?" "Why yes it is, thank you for checking!" It's about the details, folks. I've stayed in ritzier hotels in my life with not even half the quality as in this SpringHill Suites location. Let me take a second to confirm that you will not be disappointed. Though it was a short stay, this is one of my favorites and now, I have a place to stay in Boise. Sweet.

I guess used pillow cases are acceptable at Marriott locations now. Looking to move my 100 nights to another chain.

Long time Marriott user and thought I would stay here on business travel. Enjoying a pillow case with stains on it, which is now on the floor. Thanks Marriott

The room was way more swanky than anything we ever stay in, but even my husband commented on how nice it was, and he isn't usually impressed with hotels. You could sleep in the shower with how much space there was. The ambiance definitely matched all the things I had heard about it - very industrial meets modern in a thoughtful way. And don't sleep on Blue Collar Coffee or the rooftop bar, if even for just the view of the foothills. You can't beat the location either - it's walkable to everything but just outside the true heart of downtown where it gets busier. Recommend for a staycation night (what we did) or a splurge-y stay with friends!

Rooftop was amazing and what a view. We also made reservations at the Supper Club and it too was incredible. Service was impeccable while not being overbearing. The food was amazing and very fairly priced. Cannot wait to go back and eat more off the menu. Overall, I cannot believe there is a better hotel to stay at in Boise. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a "staycation" at the Renegade.

Free breakfast but offerings limited to yogurt or eggs. Very noisy A/C unit. The toilet is directly next to the frosted glass bathroom door, which is fine for couples but worth taking into consideration who you're traveling with! Issue we had was we had picked up some favorite vegan food from a local restaurant to enjoy on the patio since we've really enjoyed the communal patios at other updated motels. We check-in and are invited to the happy hour. Awesome! We hope to order a beer and enjoy our food when a woman comes over and says that the health department will not allow us to eat our own food on our own plates and cutlery on the patio and that they would be shut down if they allowed it. When we ask where we could eat, she directs us to the street or our room. Our room only had a single chair and a thin rail, no proper dining setup. The patio was empty save for 2 tables but they couldn't stand to share the patio with hotel guests. The place was otherwise nice but the treatment soured our experience. I strongly suspect the health department would take no issue with our enjoyment of the patio.

Rooms are basic, but clean and mostly well stocked. No conditioner in our shower. I retrieved a little bottle from my suitcase, but again, at $300 a night, housekeeping should be on top of that. My least favorite thing, breakfast. Blaah! I've generally stayed at Hilton garden inns where you get a real breakfast served to you. Sorry, but this breakfast was not great, in fact, just not good. I'm sure convenience is its appeal to business travelers, but if quality or taste are your things, just skip it. We walked down about 8:45 (it runs from 6-10) and the place looked like a hurricane had hit it. Self serve breakfast bars have their place but dedicate a staff member to keeping things stocked up, counters cleaned and overflowing trash receptacles emptied. $300 a night, just sayin!!! I'll again say that if you are attending an event downtown this is a very convenient place to stay. That's its appeal to us.
