May 22-25, 2026; room 217. The room appeared neat and clean but with leftover, excess soap buildup in the bath/shower drain. The breakfast (open 6 AM to 10 AM) was truly very good. We would leave about 8 am and return about 5 PM, with our room only serviced with bed making and clean towels 1 of the two times. One of the elevators was out of service about half the time. The second floor hallway had a piece of paper laying on the carpet the entire time, so if you check in about a month from now, count on it still being there. read more

A stunning location near everything on Chinden and Cloverdale. Its hip, vibrant, and the service and amenities were great. The front desk team is an all-star lineup and it shows as this location was poppin the days we were there. The breakfast options especially the waffles was a big hit with the kids. Ample parking is available and the queue cone for rideshare was helpful. The rooms are standard but the bed was soft and the showerhead worked which are the most important for us. Overall, nice stay close to everything. read more

This hotel is beautiful. The receptionist was kind and helpful. Our room was very spacious and the complimentary toiletries smelt amazing! The reason this hotel didn't get more stars for me was first because the elevator happened to be down and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs at 11:30pm after 8 hours of driving which was a bummer. When we got to our room it was super warm and even though we turned on the cooling/fan it never really cooled down. read more

Stayed here again for four nights while we were in town looking to buy a house for our impending relocation in June. Pros: Great location at the junction of the 55 and 26. Plenty of good restaurants and shopping close by. A five minute drive gets you to a nice walking area next to the Boise River. Also, there is a movie theater less than five minutes away. The property is attractive, though near a business center, and it appeared many of the guests were there on business. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a desk a sitting area. The beds are comfortable, the shower has good pressure and nice hot water. There are two closets. The AC worked great. Also, there is a fridge and microwave. The fan in the bathroom worked well. There is a hairdryer. The lobby area is good size, with tea and coffee available from 6 am to 10 pm. There is plenty of free parking. Wi-Fi seemed to work well. Cons: The breakfast is not great. Alternating on different days, there were scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, quiche, mini omelets, and egg muffins, none very appetizing, but filling and complementary. There are also waffles, cereal, bagels, pastries, juices, and hard boiled eggs. I just wasn't impressed. The TV cut out frequently, as if the signal strength was poor. I do recommend this hotel. We stayed at another hotel in Meridian during a previous trip, and it was not as nice. Reviewing similar properties on Yelp, we did not find anything that we liked better. read more

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is in a good area and pretty quiet with the exception of hearing the guests occasionally walking around above us or hearing other guests through the walls which were pretty thin. Beds were very comfy and the room was very clean with daily housekeeping service. Kitchenette is very small and does not have a stove so not the type of place to stay if you are planning on preparing your own meals (does have a microwave and mini fridge but no utensils nor cups or plates). Bathroom and shower has all the amenities except the body wash pump was broken so we had to open it from the top to get the soap out. Room was also very stuffy so we had to constantly keep the air on and lowering the thermostat til it got to a comfortable temperature. Breakfast buffet is included but was disappointing as no protein such as bacon or sausage is offered other than four types of eggs (scrambled, mini quiches/omelettes and boiled eggs) and no bread nor bagels for toasting, just some cold biscuits, scones, and mini muffins along with some regular packaged muffins (juice and coffee is available), as well as cold cereals and oatmeal. Lastly, the gym is very nice (but small) and there is an indoor swimming pool as well. Small laundry facility is available for 1.25/load. Property is very clean and lots of parking around the entire property is available. Overall, a decent, comfortable to stay but one star short of making it an excellent place to stay! read more

I'd really like to give the property a higher rating, since the staff is really good - but too many property issues bring it down. From the front desk staff, to the lady that typically fills the breakfast items, they are good at their jobs and are overall quite pleasant to interact with. I have only interacted with housekeeping in the hallways on the rare occasion, but they too are cordial. The few times that I have had issues, the staff has been responsive to follow thru and get it resolved. Breakfast choices have some variety. Rotating hot plate choices range from biscuits and gravy to premade omelets and sausage patties most days. Also have decent toppings for oatmeal and several choices of cold cereal to choose from. Typical breakfast for the type of hotel. The biggest factor that is driving me to create this rating is a recent policy change by the hotel to charge $5/night for parking. This makes no sense - there is ample parking in the lot and a strip mall immediately adjacent. This seems like a blatant grab for additional revenue, rather than being driven by actual business justification. The lot doesn't have any signs that indicate that parking is only for the hotel, and I have seen countless cars park in spaces for the adjacent restaurant that are the closest and most reasonable to use. I am interested to see how this works out for them, as I expect significant pushback from folks staying here. Another recurring problem at this hotel is the pool heater isn't working. I can remember taking trips as a kid and looking forward to being able to swim at the indoor pool (assuming the hotel had one). I can't imagine the disappointment if I found out that a pool existed but wasn't warm enough to enjoy. I realize that mechanical issues happen, but this seems to be an ongoing battle for the hotel. Lastly some of the beds should REALLY be replaced. The mattresses in some rooms are a little bit lumpy and slightly uncomfortable. Not unbearable, just not optimal either. With apologies to Rod Stewart for mangling the lyric that ran through my head during a recent multiple day stay at this Springhill Suites where I first stayed in late 2005ish right after they opened. Now as then the 'mid century modern fashion forward' interior styling isn't my thing. And frankly Springhill isn't my favorite of the formats in the Marriott family of hotels. (See This N That.) But this property seemed more welcoming and in better shape during this visit than it did when it was newly opened. They wear it well. Would stay here again. More pros than cons. PROS: *Convenient location to Eagle or Boise. *Ample parking in lot. *Accessible from lot throughout all public spaces. *Friendly, efficient staff. *Well maintained and sparkling clean throughout; public spaces and rooms. *Decent size indoor pool (with access lift) and gym if you're looking for those. *Free breakfast in lobby with unique options like cold cuts if that's your thing. *Studio suite format rooms with work desk and sofa in main living room space. *Fridge and microwave in good working order. *Free and fast wifi. *In room lighting much better than average. *Good water pressure in shower; has grab bar as good safety feature. *Nice, crispy ,cotton percale sheets on bed. *Quiet at night. THIS N THAT: 1) SCHOOL SPORTS TEAMS : Springhill Suites seem a magnet for big groups of traveling high school athletes. Never fails, up to now, that when I've stay at at a Springhill I find boys teams and girls teams pile out of cars and buses and check in to have foot races and parties in the hallway late into the evening complete with slamming doors. I've had that experience enough in cities around the US, including the Parkcenter Boise Springhill, that it is one of the reasons I avoid this format. Yes. I was once that age. I do remember. But I am not that age now. Now I am a crumudgeon and prefer not to have this hallway 'entertainment' into early morning. A friiend of mine says she is too old and too rich to put up with this when paying for a hotel room. I say I am simply too old. I'm happy to say there were no sports teams at this Springhill. Maybe it was just the luck of the draw this time and next time I won't be so lucky. But it was sweet respite. 2) ROOM TIPS: Rooms facing front will get morning sun and be cooler. Rooms facing back will get afternoon sun and be warmer. We are from Portland. We were on a family ghost town adventure and stopped here to visit my grandma. I was to tired to drive home as it was late last night so we got a room. The rooms are nice, bed are soft so if you like firm you won't like them. The staff is friendly, Paul Mitchell soaps and hair products for showers. Breakfast was great grab and go but cereal, jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches, milk, muffins, juice, hunny buns. My family loves it. I had yogurt and I had surgery so can't eat most stuff. Pool area is nice. Room was big and clean. I would stay here again if we are ever in the area. read more

What a horrible experience after driving for 300 miles and we're treated horrendous at check in. We had a reservation and was told we had to pay 170 dollars extra for our little support dog. Our room was dirty with used bandages in the filthy couch and stinky pillows. We definitely won't be staying at any Marriott in the future. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, and I contrast it with my stay at another hotel in another city. First of all, it was a lot nice and more comfortable than the Raddison we flopped at in Seattle, though I have no complaints about that place. Our flight was delayed in Anchorage which set off a chain reaction on our trip, thus forcing us to find a hotel in Seattle and not have time to rest or shower. So when we arrived in Boise, we decied to call the hotel and beg to see if we could freshen up, to my delight they said yeah come on over, your room is ready, mind you this was BEFORE check out fromt the previous day, like 1030ish. The lady at the front desk was so nice and even said here let me put you in a nicer room up higher so you can rest from your trip. Customer service folks remember that? The hotel is immaculate, and the room was HUGE! This hotel is spotless, and looks brand new. The beds are amazig, the in room products are Paul Mitchel, it has everything you need, microwave, fridge seperate nook area etc. I have stayed in hotels all over the world Disney, etc, this was seriously one of the best stays any where. The breakfast ala COVID was adequate and easy and nice touch. If and when I come back ill will definately stay here. read more

A pure delight. I obtained a deal through hotwire for this one-night stay with my girlfriends. We needed a clean, comfortable room just west of Boise and that's exactly what we got. Staying at this property sort of restored my faith in three star properties as this is probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Beginning with the location, it's going to be a few minutes from Meridian and about a 15+ minute drive from Downtown Boise. It's quietly located right on Chinden viewing the hills to the north and just east of a few local businesses. There is ample parking on their private lot as well. Check-in was a snap! When we arrived to our room, I LOVED IT. The high wall-ceilings, lighting, amenities, kitchenette, bathroom, and vanity all offered enough space for three ladies. The beds were very comfortable and it was pretty spacious overall. Oh, there's free wifi too! A few minutes after putting our bags down we got a call: "Is everything perfect in the room?" "Why yes it is, thank you for checking!" It's about the details, folks. I've stayed in ritzier hotels in my life with not even half the quality as in this SpringHill Suites location. Let me take a second to confirm that you will not be disappointed. Though it was a short stay, this is one of my favorites and now, I have a place to stay in Boise. Sweet. read more

We stayed one night! We got to the room and found the shower curtain was bloody so we called the desk. They couldn't do anything for us and housekeeping was gone for the day. The next morning my daughter grabbed a tissue and the tissue inside the box was bloody. The microwave and coffee maker were also not clean. So gross and they wouldn't do a thing. I usually love Springhill Suites but this not good. We had a reservation there for 1 week later going back through town but I cancelled it. read more

I am only commenting/reviewing this hotel's "free" internet tier - which is awful. Last night, I was not able to get 1 Mbps and tonight, despite the hotel parking lot being empty, I am only able to get 1.9 Mbps. They are more than willing to sell you top-tier access, but it's a nickle and dime ploy by cheap management. Message to said management: if you really want to steer into the nickle and dime skid, why not give your customers wash rags only and charge them extra for towels. Provide free cold water, but put a coin-op dispenser on the hot water control. Charge a surplus baggage fee for anybody with more than one bag. Put a meter on the HVAC controls, and charge customers (by the hour) to use it. And, be sure to charge extra for more than one pillow on the bed. Message to other travelers: find another hotel. Ok they had the fire alarm set off. It went off for at least 5 minutes. Days later my left ear is still ringing. After the fire alarm went off and everyone evacuated, no one came out to explain anything. No explanation, nothing. No apology. No fire department called. One visitor found out it was a false alarm. I spoke with the manager who talked to me like I was a kindergartener. Ridiculous. This place is unsafe and VERY unprofessional! read more

Our stays here this year have been on 7/6, 7/29 and now 8/12. The location was ideal for our purposes. The rooms are clean, modern and well-appointed. Parking is sufficient and not cramped. The included breakfast has a nice variety of good food, markedly better than most similar hotels. The WiFi is more than sufficient to support my work needs and is reliable. The one irritating issue we encountered was the television cable service which had channels that were out and channels that would freeze and partially pixelate before they synched up several seconds later. The management is evidently helpless to remedy the cable issue with the latest excuse being the missing channels are due to a recent wind storm (not very likely). read more

Clean and spacious room you would expect for the springhill suite. However, it's quite outdated. Different colors of wallpaper on different walls clash the green and gold carpeting that is also quite antiquated. The restroom is good size, with sufficient counterspace and mirror that is outside of the actual bathroom/shower area. The shower has a tub that was old and stained. The plastic shower curtain was due for replacement. The lighting in the shower was unusually yellow and just unpleasant for the eye. The wallpaper in there was also light green which made for a strange combination. We had a two queen bed and the TV was on the right side of one of the beds so one of the beds had nearly no visual to it. Mattresses comfortable. Free breakfast and wifi, free parking that is plentiful but poor snow cleanup outside. Staff was pleasant but nothing to boast about, I waited 5 minutes at the front desk for sign in and she apologized because she was filling up the coffee machine. Location is decent but we were here for family so didn't care for the city much, so can't speak for the location as much as others may be able to. If you're looking for quick access to downtown Boise fun, then stay closer in. SpringHill caters to folks doing business in the surrounding corporate business park. Thus, there really isn't much else around the hotel, besides a few restaurants directly behind the property. However, if you're doing business out on Chinden, near HP, then this is the place to stay. The hotel is 2.5 years old, and SpringHill's niche is providing large hotel rooms, mini suites if you will. Each room enters into a room with a sofa with coffee table, couple of armchairs, and a work desk. You can connect to WiFi with a wireless card or use the provided cable, either way for free. The bedroom area is separated from the living space by a half wall. There is also a mini-fridge and microwave. Decent sized bathroom and sink. Nicely decorated and carpeted. Very small workout room. Dumbells, bike, elliptical, and treadmill in a tight space. You can purchase snacks and drinks from the 24-hr "Market" adjoining the front desk. Standard complimentary breakfast. Ample parking. All in all, just what one would expect from a newer Marriott property. A good value at $89 read more

The free wifi kept cutting in and out but since we weren't their for work was less of an issue. The location was perfect. Lots of food places to choose from and the morning Hot Breakfast was decent. I really love to stay here. I had an interview with HP and this is where they booked me for two nights and three days. It was pretty cool Ithought for the price too. It was $80 dollars a night, but I ended up getting 2 queen size beds which was very comfortable. It had a nice couch as well, microwave, a mini bar, refrigerator. The staff was friendly and nice and i should have not asked for more. You get free breakfast as well which was not bad considering it was for free. I got eggs and toast which was really nice, there is also yogurt, bananna and many cinnamon rolls. read more

Customer-service was some of the best I've had at a Marriott! The staff here was friendly & fantastic. The rooms felt a little smaller than the other Springhill's we've stayed in. But it wasn't awful. We were comfortable. Our room was a two-queen. We had 2 closets. The living area and kitchenette were typical Springhill. The bathroom was nice. Clean. And it had a fan. Also, there was plenty of hot water, each morning. Stellar! The breakfast was good. All of the usual Springhill offerings. The pool was average. The water was very cloudy, & could have used a good shock. There was no hot tub, which would have improved the swimming area, greatly. But there were always enough towels. All in all, a great stay. I only wish they could pick the hotel up & move it 10 miles closer to Boise city center. read more

This is a nice hotel. I felt that the rooms were clean and modestly updated. Not perfect but definitely above average. I gave it 4 stars because I felt the breakfast was a little weak. The choices were limited and the food was just not that good. Additionally, the gym was very small. Only 4 cardio machines and in the morning it was busy. No complaints. I stay here for work a few times per year, and the location never dissapoints. I stayed on the first floor which has been re-done over the last year, so it smells new and looks nice. The people working the property are all very nice. What I like: - gym has new equipment, although limited - FREE continential breakfast - FREE internet - comfortable beds - rate out the door was like $165 - big parking area, you can get close to the door, which is nice in the snow! This hotel is a great buy! The location is great for business and fun. It is less than 10 miles away from downtown. I would say the pricing is moderate but for the area and all the extra services/amenities it offers this is a steal of a deal. I thought it was really great how Stubs, the local sports pub, delivered directly to my room. Good, easy, and inexpensive food. The hotel provides a clean and fresh atmosphere because of it being fairly new, maintained exceptionally, and a no smoking policy. read more

My only issue was that it sounded like there were elephants running around in the room above me. I don't know if it was someone/kids stomping around or if the walls are just thin. I just stayed here on a Saturday and I loved it! I got it on priceline for $58. Scooooore! The front desk staff was super friendly! Shout out to Megan! I love the set up of the Springhill style rooms. Sofa, desk living area, closed off from the bedroom section. Big window that opened (always a plus in my book!) Normally I am a Marriott homer. But this stay was not up to par. Checked in to room and the bed sheets were dirty - just something wrong seeing a brown stain on your sheets. Thankfully they were prompt in bringing us new bedding. Hotel has been renovated. Lobby is very nice. Surprised that it didn't have a hot tub in the pool area. Staff was very friendly. While the beds and the pillows were very good, the insulation between rooms was awful as well as above our room. Our first night of seven we had people stomping above us at 1:30 in the morning and had to call the front desk twice. The free breakfast was almost nonexistent and the pool was cloudy. On our last night they put a very loud family right next to us that were kicking the walls at 11:00 pm even though the hotel was only 20% full. The reason for this was room designations were computerized. We spent over $800.00 staying here and sorry we did. We will DEFINITELY not be returning customers. I really liked this place. The price was right, they took dogs and it was clean. I called and asked what time check in was, the girl said four. I asked if I could check in early and she said sure. I told her I would be there in about ten minutes. When I walked in she was already hard at work starting my check in. Cool. the room was a good size with a fridge, and did I mention they took dogs? The hotel was great for a hotel. But there were a few little things that pissed me off. The first was that I made a reservation at hotels.com and when I got to the hotel they had no record of my reservation. Not too big of a deal, just annoying. Here's what pissed me off. I like to watch movies/dvd's when I'm on vacation. The room provided me with no way to watch my dvd's that I brought. That's okay because I brought my own player and the tv had the ports to hook it up. But then when I tried to watch the dvd, I found that the hotel had disabled all the ports and extra channels on the tv. There was no way for me to watch. So I was stuck with the regular cable channels and the crappy cable service. If I'm paying for a room then I want to be able to take full advantage of it. read more

I was visiting boise for work and my stay here was Great! The staff were so helpful and friendly I would highly recommend staying here. The only reason I put 4 stars is due to the double charge on my card I understand a one charge for nightly visit in case of damages but of that 60$ charge there was an additional 80$ that I never received a reason what it was due to. Let's start off by saying this hotel is nice and clean. This was our first outing since COVID due to my compromised immune system. We were excited to take our two little kids on their first vacation as well. We were in town from out of state to help my father move into a new home. While searching hotels near by we decided to chose this hotel because of two main amenities. Free breakfast and a heated pool which were two musts while traveling with a 2 and 4 year old. We stayed for 9 days and the first night we arrived we got so excited to jump in the pool after a long day at the airport to only find it was NOT indeed heated. We asked the worker and they said yes it's heated. We said nothing else. The next day we decided to try again and sure enough it was freezing cold. Not a little cold, but cold to where our children were shivering the whole 15 minutes we were in the pool. This pool time was very important to us because this was the only time each day our whole family would be together and get to enjoy each other. This time in the morning we went to the front desk and complained about the pool temperature. They then said oh man our tech is off the next two days, but when he arrives back he will fix it. That day came and before we headed out we felt the pool and it was warm. We were so excited and got the kids so excited to end the night with some good quality family time to only be disappointed once again because when we arrived back the pool was non other than freezing. How could that be? That morning it was warm. We went straight over to the front desk and told the worker how upset we were again she said she would document it again. This was not only the third time we complained, but we complained a total of 5 times. Now this sounds petty to complain about a heated pool, however when you chose to stay out of the way to have an amenity it's very very upsetting when that amenity is not available. I gave this hotel two stars because it was clean, staff was nice and when we had issues like a burnt out light in the bathroom, broken shower head and broken faucet they fixed it right away. Another disappointing situation is that I tried to email the hotel manager and regional sales manager about our experience (I also tried to catch her twice when the staff said she would be in and she was not). I picked up their business cards from the front desk and both times I sent them both emails they were sent back due to being "timed out". I double checked and the email addresses on the card matches what I typed. I even called once we arrived home when Kate was working and have not received a call back. We have stayed and a handful of Springhill Suites all over the US and LOVE them. This is the first one that was disappointing! read more
