Really enjoyed my stay at SpringHill Suites Bloomington. Location: the hotel is located in downtown Bloomington. It was a short walk to the restaurants on Kirkwood and about a fifteen minute walk to the Sample Gates. Rooms: Our room was quite nice. It was clean and comfortable enough. Most importantly it was bed bug free (we checked). My husband also enjoyed the shower. Parking: garage parking is available for $12/day. You can also try street parking but I personally don't think it's worth the hassle. Check in was seamless, the hotel has other amenities that we didn't experience (free breakfast, pool, exercise room). I would stay at this hotel again.

This was my home for a week while we were in Bloomington. It's a really good location and very centrally located to many things around town. We had some issues with parking (our fault because we didn't realize we could get in and out with the keycard) but it's actually quite nice to have covered parking especially considering it was snowing out. Really enjoyed the breakfast that was included with your stay. They had a good variety of items and most of the choices were pretty healthy. The rooms were nicely set up and very clean. For whatever reason, we ended up with an ADA compliant room. I am not complaining because there was 3 of us in the room for part of the week so having the extra space was very nice. They had complimentary Chupa Chups!! I kept passing by the front desk and taking some. I think I grabbed every flavor possible. It was pretty awesome. They also put out random snacks (chips) for guests at the front desk so that was awesome too. I really enjoyed the little bar downstairs as well. The bartenders were awesome and the drinks were not skimpy.

This review is during the pandemic and they are still doing a great job. I stayed here during a business trip and they were quick to accommodate me and another team member. Still serving breakfast and you don't see that often these days. Very clean in and outside of the facility. If you want to continue staying fit during your business trip or vacation, schedule an appointment at the front desk and then you are good to go. Everyone is wearing a mask and is very welcoming.

This overnight experience was on point from the minute my feet hit the doormat. The location? Conveniently located within walking distance to the B-Line trail, the "square," and even the IU football stadium. The service? Impeccable, professional, and friendly. The space? Modern, clean, bright, and spacious. My room had two plush, luxurious queen beds fit for royalty with four marvelous pillows to rest my head on. The water pressure in the shower was fabulous. I liked the small "living room" set-up with an L-shaped couch and desk that had a fogged glass mirror to pull back for privacy from the bedroom area. TV is in an awk location for the room, though. Also, great free continental breakfast with waffles, hot Irish oatmeal + toppings, yogurt, soy milk, fruit, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy...you get the picture. If I were returning to Bloomington for an overnight, I would stay here in a heartbeat. Highly recommend SpringHill Suites!

So impressed! Top five reasons I would recommend resting your head at SpringHill Suites: 1.) the rooms are stunning (new, spacious, clean and designed well) 2.) they're located right off the main square and BLine Trail 3.) complimentary continental breakfast (I'm always down for a light and free breakfast) 4.) the staff was super friendly and helpful 5.) indoor pool Only note: the tv is in a weird location in the room making it not super handy for viewing.

A really incredible hotel. I am a touring musician and safe, clean hotels close to the venue are a veritable gold mine. This hotel was a four minute walk from my venue, close to downtown shops, restaurants and venues. It is a newer building with an exceptional lobby and staff. I was greeted by Josh, who gave me some lemon infused water and enthusiastically informed me that in honor of "national margarita day" the hotel bar had them on special. My room was on the 5th floor, the elevators are clean and quick - connecting the parking garage to the fifth floor making for easy load in/out. The bathroom had Paul Mitchell products. Beds were super comfy and room very quiet. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. I spent 2 hours in the gym and pool, complete with yoga mats and complimentary water. I highly recommend this hotel for one or many nights. Thank you for the accommodations, work out and great night's rest.

The 1/2" opening at the bottom of the entry door let the light distract and make it difficult to fall asleep

The inside 3-level parking for $10 is convenient and gives you direct access to the lobby. The reception staff were friendly and check-in process fast. The newer decor and fresh colors of the interior are welcoming. Newer styling is refreshing. We really wanted to like this hotel based on the reviews and our mediocre experience at Hyatt. Unfortunately, the springy bed was uncomfortable and the pillows didn't have support despite all night wrestling with them. Also, the light shining brightly under the entry door into 1/2" opening was so distracting that we had to block it with 3 pillows to be able to fall asleep. The room was quiet, and compared to the Hyatt, didn't have the roll on shades which allowed more light entering the room day/night when fully closed. The really uncomfortable bed and pillows make it hard to recommend this hotel. The decor and the service alone earned it 3 stars.

The suite is immaculate! The breeze ways are clean and inviting. The next stay I will have to make sure that there is not an adjourning room. My neighbors are loud but it's also Little 5 at IU Bloomington. Keep up the amazing appearance of this division of Marriott... I will be back again!

Tv didn't work and they overbooked the pool. My 3 children were highly disappointed as we waited 20 hours to go and couldn't.

This Home2 Suites location is at the beginning of Downtown that is dog friendly ($75/stay for 1-4…read morenights and $125/stay for 5+ nights), The number of pets allowed is 2. Pet weight limit is 75 lbs., has free parking, complementary breakfast, free WiFi, has washer and dryers ($0.75 to use the washer and the same to use the dryer) on site and fitness center with pool available for use for guests. My husband, our little girl dog and I stayed here for 4 nights. Upon our first night of checking in, we were greeted by a friendly employee behind the counter, Sydney. We had our room on the first floor and the room was pretty spacious that had a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, sink, sponge and mini dish soap. There was a sticker on the dishwasher that says the dishes are ready to use in there but when we pulled out a plate, it had food on it. I would highly recommend washing whatever dishes and utensils you pull out of here. Inside the shower is a shower gel and shampoo dispenser, which is nice. But there is no conditioner dispenser. There is a small bottle of condition on the bathroom sink counter, next to the small box of bar soap. Complementary hot breakfast is served between 6:30- 9:30 daily. I think this is where our experience was a bit lacking with the breakfast, as it was the same food items offered every day with no added variety. The food items available for breakfast included Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwich, egg omelet with cheese, egg omelet with bell peppers and ham, bananas, oranges, green apples, cold cereal, oatmeal, non fat and low fat milk, non fat Greek yogurt and regular yogurt, make your own waffle, cold hard boiled eggs, white bread and bagels (with the ability to toast it and also provided with butter, jam, etc). I was hoping to see scrambled eggs, bacon/ sausage, etc. But it was still good enough for each morning. The gym (open 24 hours) was nice that had 2 treadmills, 2 elliptical machines, 1 bike cycle. There are also free weights and a machine that is multitask to allow one to do chest press, bicep curls, etc. There are 2 large flat screen TVs. There is also a water dispenser, a weight scale and plenty of sanitizing wipes available in the dispenser. Disposable headphones are available at the front desk for free upon request. The gym was clean on the days I used it (yes I am one of those people who like to exercise while on vacation) and the air condition was great to help cool me down during my workout. We were told that housekeeping was available upon request. We did not request for any while we were staying here. But I did see a sticker on the bathroom mirror that did say that they do housekeeping on the 5th day (but you can always request not to if you don't want it). With this hotel being dog friendly, there is plenty of grass available for your pet to relieve themselves and also a poop bag dispenser that was always full. Overall, I had a great stay here and would consider staying here again the next time visiting Bloomington.

They gave us a room with a dirty bed and didn't care. This place has decent reviews and is…read moreconvenient to campus, so it seemed like a great place for a quick two night stay. My wife went to sleep before me, and so when I got into bed and was overwhelmed by the absolute stench of another human's body, especially on the pillow cases and at the top of the covers, which he must have tucked into his stank pits, smearing his sweat and cheap deodorant all over them. It was revolting. I've heard of hotels not changing sheets between guests to save time/money, but I've never been absolutely certain I've been subjected to that kind of filth. Until my April 2026 stay at this hotel. Since my wife was already sleeping (boy did she pick the right side of the bed) I didn't want to disturb her and waited until morning to complain. The person at the front desk seemed to think I was trying to get extra housekeeping (the hotel explicitly does not offer daily housekeeping; hell, they don't even always do it between guests!) and was distant with me about it, saying that "maybe" they'd be able to squeeze in my room today, they'd "do their best". This reaction is why I'm taking the time to write a review; things happen, maybe it was bad luck, but the nonchalant "eh, idk if we have time to change your sheets today" response sent me over the top. My bedding did get changed, but I would NEVER stay here and would warn anyone else to avoid it at all costs.
