I was asked to let them know how my stay was so far ( I stayed for a week and was asked on my second day and I simply said that an extra chair in the room would be a nice touch and later on that evening I heard a knock on my door and to my surprise I was handed a chair to add to me room... WOWZERS!!! I have to give a major shout out to Ms. Johna who made sure breakfast was fresh hot and very YummyLicious every morning!!! She became my favorite and her smile was amazing!!! My only concern was/ is that my personal Grey hand towel was taken when the Housekeeper cleaned the room, changed the linen and changed out the towels she took mine. That didn't make sense to me and I did report IT and there was nothing done to replace my towel once they did a search and could not find IT. Because of that. I give them. 4 's!!! read more

Stay there on my vacation. It was clean comfortable. The only complaint I had was that the kitchenette didn't have a tea kettle, or any coffee cups?I had to get my own.But I don't mind. Also the t v stations aren't exactly anything to write home about. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay very much. In fact, when I plan on taking my vacation next year, i'm planning on doing the same thing and staying the same place. As for the TV and the coffee cups, that was just what I consider. A minor inconvenience nothing major and nothing to prevent me from wanting to come back. read more

This Home2 Suites location is at the beginning of Downtown that is dog friendly ($75/stay for 1-4 nights and $125/stay for 5+ nights), The number of pets allowed is 2. Pet weight limit is 75 lbs., has free parking, complementary breakfast, free WiFi, has washer and dryers ($0.75 to use the washer and the same to use the dryer) on site and fitness center with pool available for use for guests. My husband, our little girl dog and I stayed here for 4 nights. Upon our first night of checking in, we were greeted by a friendly employee behind the counter, Sydney. We had our room on the first floor and the room was pretty spacious that had a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, sink, sponge and mini dish soap. There was a sticker on the dishwasher that says the dishes are ready to use in there but when we pulled out a plate, it had food on it. I would highly recommend washing whatever dishes and utensils you pull out of here. Inside the shower is a shower gel and shampoo dispenser, which is nice. But there is no conditioner dispenser. There is a small bottle of condition on the bathroom sink counter, next to the small box of bar soap. Complementary hot breakfast is served between 6:30- 9:30 daily. I think this is where our experience was a bit lacking with the breakfast, as it was the same food items offered every day with no added variety. The food items available for breakfast included Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwich, egg omelet with cheese, egg omelet with bell peppers and ham, bananas, oranges, green apples, cold cereal, oatmeal, non fat and low fat milk, non fat Greek yogurt and regular yogurt, make your own waffle, cold hard boiled eggs, white bread and bagels (with the ability to toast it and also provided with butter, jam, etc). I was hoping to see scrambled eggs, bacon/ sausage, etc. But it was still good enough for each morning. The gym (open 24 hours) was nice that had 2 treadmills, 2 elliptical machines, 1 bike cycle. There are also free weights and a machine that is multitask to allow one to do chest press, bicep curls, etc. There are 2 large flat screen TVs. There is also a water dispenser, a weight scale and plenty of sanitizing wipes available in the dispenser. Disposable headphones are available at the front desk for free upon request. The gym was clean on the days I used it (yes I am one of those people who like to exercise while on vacation) and the air condition was great to help cool me down during my workout. We were told that housekeeping was available upon request. We did not request for any while we were staying here. But I did see a sticker on the bathroom mirror that did say that they do housekeeping on the 5th day (but you can always request not to if you don't want it). With this hotel being dog friendly, there is plenty of grass available for your pet to relieve themselves and also a poop bag dispenser that was always full. Overall, I had a great stay here and would consider staying here again the next time visiting Bloomington. read more

For being a Hilton property, I was disappointed in the level of cleanliness particularly with the bedding. I agree with reviewer Lily H. Allergy covers are definitely needed. I could tell the pillows had been sweated upon, they had that certain "smell". I needed to place a towel on top of the pillow to make it bearable. And about those towels, the quality of the towels was terrible. They were very small and and rough. I know this is one of their "lower level" quality hotels, I am not sure I will stay at a Home2 brand again. read more

They gave us a room with a dirty bed and didn't care. This place has decent reviews and is convenient to campus, so it seemed like a great place for a quick two night stay. My wife went to sleep before me, and so when I got into bed and was overwhelmed by the absolute stench of another human's body, especially on the pillow cases and at the top of the covers, which he must have tucked into his stank pits, smearing his sweat and cheap deodorant all over them. It was revolting. I've heard of hotels not changing sheets between guests to save time/money, but I've never been absolutely certain I've been subjected to that kind of filth. Until my April 2026 stay at this hotel. Since my wife was already sleeping (boy did she pick the right side of the bed) I didn't want to disturb her and waited until morning to complain. The person at the front desk seemed to think I was trying to get extra housekeeping (the hotel explicitly does not offer daily housekeeping; hell, they don't even always do it between guests!) and was distant with me about it, saying that "maybe" they'd be able to squeeze in my room today, they'd "do their best". This reaction is why I'm taking the time to write a review; things happen, maybe it was bad luck, but the nonchalant "eh, idk if we have time to change your sheets today" response sent me over the top. My bedding did get changed, but I would NEVER stay here and would warn anyone else to avoid it at all costs. read more

This property needs to invest in full-zip allergy covers. I checked into my initial room (I had chosen the room on the app before arriving as the only room left on a high floor). When I did my standard mattress check, I found massive stains on both of them. I went to the front desk and the girl apologized, checked on another room for me and then told me I could have the new room. I'm guessing she didn't check the mattress (even after I showed her the pics) or she didn't think she could do anything about it, because she never mentioned anything and again I found stains, also wood chips???? I went back to the front desk and the young man who was night manager is a little green and didn't understand that it was less important to explain (how the hotel cleans but doesn't pitch out the mattresses until their life expectancy is over) or justify (the budget would have to change somehow) but that the customer really just wants a solution. Overall this is a very solid Home2. We've stayed at a number of them throughout the country, and this one is one of the best. Kept clean and updated. The attendants doing the breakfast were very friendly and kept it open even a little past the set time to make sure everyone who came down for breakfast got some. This location seems to be right on the boarder of a less than desirable part of town. Something to keep in mind, but it's also only about 5 minutes away from IU and the start of the more desirable area. Will definitely stay at again if we're in the area. read more

Stayed at Home2 Suites while at Indiana University for a recruiting event with my company. Upon entering the property my colleagues and I were greeted by the friendly two employees working guest check-in. Their warm welcome and light conversation with us instantly made me like this hotel. The location of the hotel seems to be surrounded by student housing which can be good or bad depending on your preference. I'd rather be closer to the bars personally, but that's just me. The football stadium is super close so if you were to come for a game I'd definitely recommend you stay here. My king room is very spacious...love seat, long desk with ample storage space for your clothes, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and one of the most comfortable beds and bedding that I have ever had the pleasure of laying on. Clean, clean, clean! Round of applause to the cleaning crew at this establish. From the lobby, to the common areas to my room; everything was clean and in its place. They have a 24 hour gym, which I took full advantage of. Called last minute, got Wonderful, ice cold room for an amazing price on 4th july weekend. Came in with 3 teenage boys and Max at the front desk could not have been nicer!! He could have assumed that we would be loud and partying but he was like "anything you need, i got ya." Helped me with where i should park my truck and boat trailer. I asked for a blanket for pull out bed and he brought 2 blankets, sheets, extra towels. Lyndsey at breakfast was the nicest, hard working young adult and was very accommodating to every guest that was there. I was out on the Monroe lake the next day and told 3 different families you have to stay here! Clean, Modern, nice and close to great food on the square. Called the manager and thanked him for a great stay and he was awesome. Great Leadership. My new home away from home. read more

It's very nice. It opened mid-2018, so right now, everything is new and fresh. I like the Home2 setup: kind of European styled (think Microtel) but larger. The furnishings are fresh and modern, like it's all from IKEA. Breakfast is a little different - much of the hot food is pre-packaged, like egg/meat sandwiches. But they also have cold cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, and breads/toasters, plus some waffle makers. (My egg/sausage bagel in a microwave bag was ok, but a littler has-stationy.) The staff is professional and courteous. There's a workout room and a business center. Location is great - walkable distance to good restaurants. And if you're attending an IU game, you're a reasonable walking distance from the stadium and basketball arena. read more

I stayed in the one bedroom king suite. There is a large bed in a separate bedroom and a sofa that pulls out into a bed. I was impressed with the full kitchen. There was a full size fridge, dish washer, microwave, along with glasses, mugs, plates and other kitchen gadgets. The breakfast served in the hotel was good, but you had to put a little effort into preparation. For example, making your own waffles, toasting your own bagels, and so on. I would like to give this hotel a higher rating but so far the service at this location has been severely lacking. My husband and I (and our pets) reserved a suite several weeks ago because we will have to stay here for almost a month while we wait to close on our home. After driving 12 hours to get here Saturday night, we find out that all the suites are booked, alleging that they've allowed prior guests to extend their stays. I can understand doing that for some travelers, however every single suite? Even though we paid in advance and reserved several weeks ago, all they could offer us was a smaller room at that room price and let us know we'd have to wait until something becomes available. We are going on day three and apparently people keep extending their stay and so we're stuck in a small room with our animals. They offer nothing except "oh sorry." Not the professional service I was hoping for. Other than this issue the rooms are beautiful and look fairly new. Very comfortable. There's no room cleaning unless you requested ahead of time so you're taking out your own trash and picking up towels from the front desk. As the situation either gets better or worse I will update my review. To update, the day after I posted this review we called Hilton Honors and they called the manager of this hotel and made sure that they would honor our reservation and get us into the room we originally reserved. The front desk contacted me later the next afternoon and we were able to move into our room. read more

My daughter stayed there on July 20, 2019. Upon arrival she pulled back the bed covers and found bed sheets had human hairs on them, presumably pubic. Please *really* change the bed sheets between customers, even if they appear not to have been slept on... Also, another member in the group asked at the front desk for an extra pillow to help her sleep because she is pregnant. "Sorry, we do not have a single extra pillow in the building"? Hilton seriously needs to do a spot inspection or pull the flag on this location. read more

Overall, a great place to stay and I'd recommend it to anyone. Staff: This is mainly what makes it such a welcoming place. There are a lot of warm, friendly employees. In every job category are people who go out of their way to help, and to show a genuine interest in the people who stay there. My family and I are between homes. We've only stayed here a few weeks total and were sad each time we had to leave. Property: It's a nice building with a nice pool, workout room (elips, free weights, treadmills, weight machine, etc) and 2 different outdoor areas to relax in. It even has gas grills! Some areas can be a bit noisy (lower floors from noise above, but no more than most hotels, also utility rooms) but it's generally fine on the top floor. Always clean. Atmosphere is bright and well decorated. Lobby is a nice place to work, relax or eat. Elevators have attractive, blue buttons that are fun to press (according to my small daughter). read more

My son and I took an overnight from CA to look at IU. We stopped at the hotel to see if there was a restroom where we could change clothes before the tour. We just stayed there for the weekend while visiting my niece who goes to the University there. Staff was so nice and did everything possible to make our stay better. They always had a smile on their face and talkative. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Shower was the Best shower I have ever used in a hotel. The sheets were AMAZING and soft. During our stay, there was no one we trusted more than Keith. The respect was astronomical and his customer service was impeccable. My husband and I stayed at Homes2 Suites by Hilton in Bloomington, IN on 9/10/2021. On the surface the room looked very nice. When I turned back the bed, I was appalled. The sheets and pillow cases were wrinkled and covered with hair. The bathroom floor, vanity top and shower were also covered with hair. When we removed the dirty lined we noticed the mattress was severely stained with yellow spots. The attendant was very apologetic. Throughout the night, we could not sleep because someone had a loudly blaring television and dogs were barking constantly. It was a terrible stay and we will never stay there again. Please check your linen before getting into bed and also the bathroom. No hotel should allow barking dogs to disturb other guests who are paying for a restful stay. Our stay was HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I have stayed here before. I am giving it the same rating but for different reasons. I was surprised to find out that there is no maid service on the weekend. There was a little card in the room that says that, but no one told me that at check in, nor was that mentioned when I booked online. A big miss in my book on Hilton's end. And, the perennial problem of egg in a bag. The sorriest protein breakfast ever attempted by a national chain. Either cook a proper egg or forget about it, IMHO. read more
