After the second service they oversprayed my black currant bush and it died. I called them multiple times about it and they said that somebody will come over to inspect the bush. Nobody came. We canceled the service and only after 5 weeks we got the refund. And nobody showed up here to inspect the bush. And we did not get any compensation for the killed bush. read more

I have used Spring Green for several years. While there have been a few issues they always addressed them and when needed gave me credit. They consistently call me the day before a service (at my request) so I know they are coming. My grass is very lush. I am almost mowing too often with all the rain we've been getting. read more

1 star is too generous! Mosquito Service only lasts for 3-4 days, if that! They've provided 2 mosquito services thus far, and each only lasted 3-4 days, NOT the 3 weeks as stated. Customer Service is NOT helpful. They keep pushing us off to call in another week or so, closer to that next 3-week mark for the next scheduled application -- so, what's the point?!?! This service ruined my lawn. I had more weeds and crabgrass after using them for a year and a half than I have ever had previously. I called to cancel and they requested that I give them another 30 days to come out and make the grass good again, as a good will gesture. They came out free of charge one day for a total of 5 minutes to spray. Three days later came back out and called it a charged service. When I then called to cancel and dispute the recent $120 charge, I was told that there was nothing they could do to remove the recent charge, even though I called and told them I was cancelling! Thank God for the Ring videos! Guy didn't do his job. Never sprayed. Weeds growing everywhere. Which was not normal in my yard. A guy finally came back. Sprayed sections! Then put on invoice "second spray". Argued again on phone. Was told to send video. Which I did. Manager stated the guy was new and "accidentally " clicked that he sprayed. Doesn't make sense. They claimed that after all the calls to get this fixed it was now too late for the 2nd spray. My lawn is the same, the sprinkler system is the same and I thought the lawn care supplied by Spring Green was the same, however, clearly I was mistaken. I used them for a couple of years. Found the service to be marginal at best. I finally cancelled due to lack of integrity. They are CONSTANTLY trying to up sell you on their services. If you ask them for a one-off service like aeration or pest control, you are locked into it every year, even though an agreement was never signed. I found this unethical so I cancelled. If no stars was an option, We would give them zero. We've used Spring Green for the past couple of years but this year has been horrible. We have weeds in my yard and between my husband and myself, we have called at least 8 times. Spring Green claims that we have never called about the weeds. The customer service reps like to tell you that the regional manager will get right back to you. We're sill waiting for 2 of them to call us. They did send someone out to spray but it was our regular spraying and not for the weeds only. I've left 3 messages for Jeff at the Wauconda, IL office to call me and I'm still waiting for a call back. The service is terrible. read more

Communication from manager was unacceptable and rude. Did not come back as was informed. Terminated contact. I received no less than 3 mailers from Spring Green with special first time customer pricing specifically for my address. I was able to go to their website, sign up and pay for the service at the special pricing. I received a call later that day informing me they could not offer the pricing and the best they could do was a price that was almost 90% more than the mailers. Talk about bait and switch. Terrible business practice. If you cannot do the work for the price you are a sending out maybe you shouldn't be sending a price in the first place. I just had my lawn application on Friday. I did not receive a reminder call on Thursday, nor was the flag posted on my lawn after service was complete. I later found the flag was placed at the edge of the driveway by the mailbox and hidden behind the garbage can, with less than three inches above ground. When I arrived home from work, I let my dogs out not knowing that they had fertilized. My poor dog had a terrible allergic reaction and had to be rushed to the vet. After two shots, several antibiotics, a spray to heal the skin where her fur came off, and a vet bill of $175, I just cancelled my subscription. Signed up for weed & feed this year for my lawn, and my yard has never looked worse. My lawn is covered in crabgrass, and other weeds as well. Service started on 4/6, but 2nd treatment didn't follow until 6/24, after I called to complain - 2.5 months to get 2nd treatment! I made another call during the first week of July, complaining of a crabgrass outbreak on my lawn, as well as other weeds. Tech came on 7/13 to spray weeds, but come to find out, never addressed my crabgrass issue. I called twice more, to report a now, massive outbreak of crabgrass, and emailed management on 7/27. A tech came a few days later, 8/5, but treatment isn't making a dent, at this late date, & it appears that several areas weren't even sprayed. I'm embarrassed of my lawn. It certainly doesn't look like I pay for weed & feed service! Management has ignored by last 2 emails for resolution, and an invite to investigate the lawn. read more
