The nice gentleman said he could print me one up. Within minutes he had the finished product. While he was making it one of the owners Debbie was chatting with me . Such a nice lady. She made me feel like we were friends. So personable. The store was stocked with about any sports equipment you could want. I could tell the owners took great pride in their business for it was very clean and organized. They are a small business so if you have a sporting equipment need you should really consider doing business here. I would be a patron there more often but I'm from San Diego.. I've been in here three times and every time the customer service sucked…read more I did give it two stars, because they had what I needed each time...just hope that you can find it on your own, because the staff won't help you. For example, tonight we tried to ask a worker where something was and he practically ran away from us. Of course, we caught him anyway. He then told us that the one model in the isle was the only one they had (without even looking or asking anyone). Turns out that there was 1/2 an isle of different ones a few isles down. Good times.

She turned to me and asked how much she owed me in change. REALLY???????????????? Teach this young people how to count change instead of them relying on a computer to do it for them. I've tried the local bike shop, but damn I didn't think it would go the way it did . I think I'm…read morenow at $150 total to get a back wheel on a kids 24" bike. They installed a mismatch color wheel, my daughter was cool with it so I didn't push it, on the way home from getting it fixed the inner tube failed while in the back of our car, they fixed with no issue. A week and a half later the inner tube failed again, I brought it up, Jacob looked at it and pointed out it was on the inside so it was not from a puncture while riding so that kinda leaves poor installation or faulty products. The worst part was they charged me for it. If we ran over something, I can see that, but it was either installation error, something in the wheel they installed, or a faulty inner tube they installed. Not sure their policy, and I'm sure they'll come back with some wonderful explanation of why they charge me $30 for it but when I asked are they really gonna charge me for their product failing, they didn't seem to care, offered to take half off sheepishly. Nah, if you're gonna charge me, I'll pay full price if that's the way you're going to run your business.

My wife and I went in 20 minutes to closing to get dog food. we spent a couple of minutes just browsing boots, coats, and random odds n' ends. We headed back to pick up our brand of dog food and on the way out my wife noticed another brand she had heard good things about, but is $20 less per bag. When we approached the checkout we were greeted by a friendly lady and my wife simply asked if she had heard any reviews on the other brand. She mentioned they had some literature for it towards the back. I say my bag of food down and walked back. We were then greeted by Joyce in the dog food section. Joyce was incredibly helpful taking the time to help us compare the ingredients and nutrition facts on our brand vs the new brand. She then disappeared to the back and was back with literature. We stood and chatted about them for a second then poof, she disappeared again and reappeared with samples. When she found we had double the dogs she had thought she was off again and back with more sample; like a magical dog food fairy. Great staff, clean store and cool stuff everywhere.The single best shopping experience I have ever had.......ever. Kudos to the staff and management....corporate should clone your store. I took my bike to Erik's Bike Board Ski on 95th St., Leawood, KS. The serviceman examined my bike,…read moresaid small repairs would be $55.00 (including labor). The bike was ready the next day. I asked about the price of a tune-up; he said "$150, but you don't need a full tune-up. We will only charge what you need." I asked about the crank shaft. He said it was fine. I had issues with the brake lines, but no crank shaft issues. This is significant because I went to the Erik's on 135th St., Overland Park, KS before going to the 95th St. location. I was told the crank shaft needed to be replaced and the cost would be about $147 (including labor). They said if the bike can't be repaired, I could get a comparable bike for $850. I am so glad I followed my instincts at went to the 95th St. location for a second opinion. Great service and honest values goes a long way and I will always return to Erik's on 95th St. Thank you!

The way he spoke with my daughter to help fit her to the right bike was just so sweet. He was helpful and encouraging of her. He was also very respectful. Always asking if he could hold on to her shoulder to show her how to ride or to hold my son's head to try on the helmet. I will definitely be recommending Erik's and Brian to anyone I know looking for a bike. We'll definitely be back!
