This library is super tiny! That said, there was a nice big DVD section which we frequented. I found the people at the desk to be friendly most of the time, but once I actually had a librarian who wouldn't help me find what I was looking for - which is shocking to me. It's great if you want DVDs, but otherwise some of the other Delco libraries might be a better fit for you. read more

Springfield Township Library - Libraries Near Me - Springfield, Pennsylvania

It's a nice establishment but the golden rule of having a quiet environment in the library does not exist here. The library is intended for a quiet place to read and check out materials- however, if you decide to study or read at the library the staff is distracting. They tend to have loud conversations about their lunch schedules, weekends and other plans. There is a lot of commotion as well with the traffic in and out,but that does subside once people check out or return their materials. I'd suggest bringing head phones to block out all the extra noise. read more

Ok for a small, local l library. They seem to have a nice tutoring/kids program and elder things to do. Something is going on most of the times I've been there. I don't know why, but they seem to have a limited number of books in their stack. Maybe 5 or 6 shorter aisles and kid section. It is also pretty dark and gloomy, IMO. Good for transferring books to, since it is right off rt. 309 and easy to get to. read more

Springfield Library has a huge selection of books on tape, for those of us that drive a distance to work. If you don't see what your after, all you have to do is ask them to order it from another library, and they'll get it for you in a week or so. My only complaint is that all the formats are filed together, so when looking, you have to be careful the copy you pick is right for your system. I've picked up an MP3, while looking for a CD, more than once. read more

I came here because the Swarthmore library did not have what I was looking for. This library is neat and well organized but somewhat sterile. Parking is somewhat limited for its size. read more

ok this place is pretty sweet. Theres sledding there. one time my firend and I were sledding and he went through the fence and landed in that tiny ass creek. we had to walk home and he was soaking wet and freezing. I could not stop laughing at his dumbassedness. as for the library....reading sucks and is pointless =] read more
