We tried the veg chow mein, egg rolls, veg spring rolls, sweet & sour chicken balls, veg fried rice, beef & broccoli and chicken soo guy. We received the honey chicken wings for free. Lots of flavour! The egg rolls & spring rolls were huge! Lots of leftovers which is fine. Definitely would consider ordering again. Pleasant service!

After getting a recommendation from my daughter's family we ordered for a special meal for…read moreourselves. The entire menu is online which is identical to the printed one you can contain at the restaurant. We were told the order would be ready in 30 minutes. About 30 minutes later I was there and picked up our order, right on time. The bags were heavy!!! As we had ordered over the $50 threshold we also received an order of chicken wings, I did not ask about this whole ordering nor did I ask if it was included. I got home and there it was!! For me this is a test of truthfulness which was passed with flying colours. Each of the containers was not just filled but each was packed tight into the containers! The orders were probably a bit less than what we would have paid in other places but also having the containers so filled was awesome! The location is interesting. There is parking beside the restaurant although it may be shared with another business. Street parking is a bit farther as there's a signalized crosswalk opposite the door. Although it has been a sit down restaurant it appears that since COVID precautions that they have kept the seating areas closed off. So no in house seating and eating. There is a reasonable first step but the step from the and through the door is taller than currently would be acceptable although not insurmountable, mobility challenged folks would have greater difficulty and no wheeled services will not succeed enter to here. As the restaurant has no available seating I also note that the washrooms are not available for use either as they are behind the precautionary shields. Additionally at least the one is signed as out of order, this was visible from the pickup area. Overall highly recommended for value for the money and freshness of the ingredients. I'm no expert as to all types of Chinese food but I like to try find out the origin area of the staff as they would cook up flavours of their home area. I didn't find that out by asking but I suspect Hong Kong as that is the egg roll style it was huge! The spring rolls were about the size of four of the more common places. The menu has a nice selection of choices to choose from. https://www.cheungs.ca/

The shop is set up for carry out only at this time and has several coolers and a case full of fresh pasta, and fresh sandwiches for sale. We love coming by for a fancy sandwich on their house made focaccia breads. We love the mortadella and veggie with arugula varieties. You can check their specials on their Instagram https://instagram.com/pasta.mercato There so many delicious things but the star of the show is their homemade fresh pastas you can buy by weight. It's cool to get to see the pasta being made nearby the checkout / ordering counter. We love elevating our homemade dinners with fresh pasta! Between the pasta and sandwiches it's become a weekly staple in our house. They also sell fresh or frozen dinners in a variety of sizes. Everything we've tried has been amazing. It's so easy to pull one out of the freezer on a chilly night. There are so many wonderful cheeses and meats, sauces, sweets and curated grocery goods. We've found amazing olive oils, candies, and other goodies. The lemon slushies were tasty in the summer. We haven't tried the pizza but look forward to it. We love supporting this growing local business. It's convenient and awesome to seeing the pasta for sale at Dundurn Market and get to eat it in special soups at The Burnt Tongue! I love when local businesses collaborate. Yum!!
