While we prefer Pradera's golf course in terms of looks, having The Pinery's 27 hole course helps add some variety to our membership. We also love the food & think both Pradera & The Pinery have had moments in our membership where the menus swap back & forth from one upping each other. The club came back and was unable to satisfy my request and though the initiation fee paid to date covers the social member initiation fee - they requested that I pay the balance due on the full time membership before downgrading. The math does not make any sense and the fact that they are asking for a balance to a membership I will not be utilizing is just greed! Last weekend, my…read morewife, my visiting in-laws, and I came out for a round, and our experience with the pro shop staff, specifically with STEVE, completely overshadowed what is otherwise a great golf course. Our interaction with Steve in the pro shop was extremely disappointing. He was rude, dismissive, arrogant, and overall just unprofessional throughout our interaction. The experience became so upsetting that it LEFT MY WIFE IN TEARS, which is something we've never experienced at any golf course. That's especially disappointing because Red Hawk Ridge has always been one of our favorite local courses. As Castle Rock residents, we've played here many times over the years with friends and family and have consistently enjoyed the course itself. Unfortunately, because of how we were treated by STEVE, we don't plan to return for the foreseeable future. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the level of customer service in the pro shop, because the quality of the course deserves a much better experience than the one we had. Quite frankly, I'd expect to start seeing more negative reviews specifically about Steve. He is not an asset to your organization and should not be in a customer-facing role in any way, shape, or form.

Everything was top notch with wildlife all over. The course was in spectacular condition and the food was wonderful. The service was nothing less than legendary. I was loading my golf bag after my last round and the valet insisted on having my shoes cleaned before loading my clubs into the hard case( which they also took care of). What a place.

One thing to note is they rarely have the beverage/snack cart going to definitely get to go for your cart.

My cart was always pulled off to the side as leave enough room for someone to go by, and when a sweet lady wanted to play on the same course with me earlier I was totally cool with that. It was also a very empty afternoon, I maybe encountered two other carts, one which was an employee. All I can think of was that when I first started, an old guy came over to me and said I "didn't look like I belonged here" I thought it was a very rude thing to say. For whatever reason he didn't want me there. Did he think I was too young? Not wealthy enough? For whatever rason he made a sharp judgement about me in that I didn't fit in despite being dresses according to code. I don't know what kind of "image" they are desperately trying to go for here. He may have made something up about me and complained to the manager. Only other thing I can think of is that the manager only wants "advanced" golfers playing here. Perhaps he didn't like it was taking me more than one hour to complete 9 holes. Maybe he only wants people coming through that can bang out 9 holes in an hour so the most money can be brought in. If he is seriously concerned about different levels getting on each other's feet, why not do advanced on Monday, Beginners Tuesday, Intermediate Wednesday.... I don't know what the mangers problem is but to go around driving around on a golf cart and yelling at customers is extremely unprofessional.

This is easily one of my most favorite courses to play in the Denver Metro area. It's a ways out…read morethere for some, but well worth the effort to play this track. It's just awesome. And be prepared for a challenging track! The driving range and practice area are all really nice. It's certainly well above average for most practice areas. I just wish they had balls on demand and not the ball machine nonsense. This course is way too nice to have a ball machine. Couple of warnings. There will be fighter jets and huge airplanes flying over the course almost every day. There's a military base close and I think seeing the jets is pretty cool. But may rattle you a bit of your trying to sink your eagle putt. Next warning is bring a lot of balls. The native grass is completely unforgiving and you will lose balls at this course if you miss your targets. I love the views and how this course sets up. The tee boxes are well kept and the greens are blazing fast all year long. The staff is really friendly and you will agree once you get out here to play a round. It's a big walk to undertake, but certainly walkable if you're prepared for a hike. I try to play early to beat the crowds and try to avoid the afternoon wind. And I try to play often because this Course is just so much fun for a hard challenging test. There's no doubt you're going to love it here too and whatever your skill level-- you will be challenged as well as thrilled with the views.

The story: On July 4th we teed of at 6:20am for our round. The starter was awesome and helped set the mood for a great morning of golf! $92 each for the round but its a holiday weekend and typically, a nicer Aurora course. All good! The course is in rough shape! It has been in the 90s and we haven't had any rain, I get it, it costs money to run a course. Now the bad: The marshall was waiting off the left side of #3 fairway, hands on hips waiting to tell us we were slow. Our carts tell us this, but thanks! The group ahead was moving fast and we did have a slow start (it happens). The GPS said we were 4 minutes behind and there was no one waiting on us, which the marshall acknowledged that no one was waiting on us. No "Hey, good morning!" Or "hey, I know its early and we're all just getting going, but try your best to keep pace today so everyone has a good round" or anything. Just a rude course marshall that unnecessarily needs to nagg golfers. He followed us for the next 2 holes, which really annoyed all 4 of us. It wasn't a great experience after spending $194 for me and my wife to play a round of golf with friends and get nagged straight away. No beverage cart on the 4th of July until after 10am...? We were on hole #15 before we saw the beverage cart. Oh and by the way, 10 minutes ahead of pace at that the turn, AND finished the round in 4 hours and 33 minutes. Seems like we kept pace fine after we got going. If you want us playing speed golf speed your GPS carts up from 7-10 MPH to 12-15 MPH and it may help your grouchy Saturday morning marshall's rude attitude. We'll play elsewhere for a while. These kind of employees should remind themselves we are paying a lot of money to golf on these courses and we all hit bad shots now and again. If there's no golfers there's no need for marshalls. No one wants to shank shots, so CHILL OUT! Cart guys were super cool as usual. Shout out to the cart guys, pro shop, and starter.

The views of the Mt Roseley and the beautiful green meadow are breathtaking. The outdoor gazebo where the vows are done is stunning! All of the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Christian and her assistant, Sarah were so responsive and personable that made our planning process easy and actually fun even from a distance (we live in Chicago). They were organized, eager to help and gave lists of top of the line vendors to work with. Christian was welcoming and made us feel so comfortable on their Ranch. She even gave my wife a warm hug and calming words of advice on our wedding day. Deer Creek Valley Ranch will always hold a dear place in our hearts. I'll never forget the amazing sight of my wife coming over the Covered Bridge on a horse drawn carriage to marry me. Now I hear the place is even better now that their Man Cave is done! I hope we get to go back and visit again soon!

We typically use our membership for the Easter, Mother's Day, and Santa Brunch. We add in a 3-4 additional dinners through the year. The food is average and the service is completely hot or miss. Some of the seasoned wait staff is good. I can appreciate that they employ high school students for food running and busing but unfortunately it hurts the overall service experience as they really haven't been well trained or managed. It's an expensive country club and golf club so the expectation of good service is higher than a normal restaurant. We've decided to not renew our membership for 2026. It is not worth the membership fee and the food spend requirements.

After coming off a poor experience with another CO golf club we decided not to go through with the membership, Pradera was a breath of fresh air & a sanity check about what a real country club should be like. Coming from CA, the first thing we appreciate is the bang for your buck you get as a Summit member at this club. For vastly less money, we have access to 2 country clubs, better food at both, & 2 courses that don't look like they're one drought day away from being a sea of dead grass. When we signed up for our membership they even gave us a deal where we got a couple months free! I know my husband will say the golf was the most important factor for him in a club but it was the food for me. The menu's are not snooty & boring like our old club; we have a ton of fun choices & everything tastes fantastic everytime. I also love the clubhouse; it reminds me of the Grand Californian Hotel in Disneyland. We also love the course which is kept beautifully. The staff here are also SO genuinely nice & helpful. If I had two small knitpicks it would be that I wish there were more fruity cocktail options on the menu & that it was easier to get out onto the golf course (Summit membership helps mitigate this last one a lot). They hold so many tournaments on the weekends in the summer that it's hard to get out there & it books up fast regardless. However, just goes to show how beloved the course is!
