I received a COVID-19 test the morning of June 24th, it took about an hour and a half which I completely understood because it was busy and I was a new patient. The nurses were nice, I was grateful, etc. Times are hard, let's be gracious. The office clearly communicated to me that I would receive a call with positive or negative results in 3-4 days (not business days, just days). 5 days comes around so I call the office several times with no answer and no voicemail option. 6 days passes with no call once again, so I repeat the process. I called Colonial Healthcare 27 times to be met with no one and was put on hold for just under an hour before I gave up. I have a coworker and a roommate who were both tested DAYS AFTER ME at Prisma Downtown and received their results in 1 and 2 days, respectively. So this was clearly an outlier of delayed results. At the very least, I could have been communicated with that my results were delayed for whatever reason. Called, or emailed, or at least answered my calls or had a voicemail option available! I know things are hard and I feel terrible for even writing this because I have so much love and respect for healthcare workers, but for YOUR own safety and peace of mind, I would not recommend getting COVID testing done here whatsoever. Drive a little further and go somewhere else with good turnaround results. I'm unable to tell my work or my roommates if I have exposed them or not. I'm fortunate I can work from home while I self isolate to be extra cautious, but you may not be able to.

The little one wasn't feeling the best and asked if auntie could be the one to take her for a wellness visit. Unable to say no we hopped in the car for a same day visit. Upon arrival I was promptly greeted by the friendly staff and completed the covid questionnaire. There was a very minimal wait before we were called. Again staff was great, everything was thoroughly explained. Even caution was giving for cost that may not be covered by insurance. When final decision required parental approval there was no push back when I called my sister (the mom) and asked that details were explained. It was actually a giggle amongst us all. Making an appointment was frustrating and took multiple calls back and forth only to find out they were entering the insurance i go incorrectly. That was finally resolved. Then I went for the actual appointment and received poor customer service. I arrived 30 minutes in advance and was told that my credit card didn't work. That was embarrassing since ample funds were in the account. I had to give another card. I was asked to complete questions I had already submitted prior to the appointment. I was again frustrated. Then the wrong therapist came to get me. He apologized so that was fine but still made the experience frustrating. All of this was before I even began the therapy. Once I did get started, the therapist was actually fantastic but my customer service experience was terrible. I did not return.
