Not sure why we have never visited here before but now we have found this amazing place we will definitely visit more often. The 30 minute drive was not bad from my house. We decided to visit on a Monday with the hopes of a small crowd. Well it was not packed but definitely not a small crowd. You can pay $20 for parking inside or free parking outside. We decided to go with free parking and it was just fine! The ticket booth was a little crowded when we arrived right after opening. The line did move fast. The price was as expected for a water park at $35 for adults and older kids and $28 for under 2 and elderly. The park is open from 10am until 6pm and we spent most of the day here. The park has several picnic tables available. We decided to bring a tent to cover it. Best idea we could have thought of! They offer some paid cover sitting areas but they were booked. Our set up was perfect... just should have bought more snacks/beverages. The park has a wonderful kids area! It has a setup with the dump bucket and kids play area. The large pool area is my favorite part. The water was the perfect temp and felt clean. I stayed here most of the day. They have a few water slides near the top of the park. It had good selections for older kids. My kids loved this part! We did visit the concessions and the food was good! We spent about $13 on each meal. Next time I will bring food to save. They have a decent restroom area that was clean and comfortable. So will all of that being said... we LOVED this experience! 10 out of 10! Well done Spring Valley! read more

The park was nice . We visited on Saturday May 30th 2026 . They were not transpa with the pricing though. Because we paid the 40 dollars each for all in our party about 35 or 40 people even the babies and seniors had to pay 40 no receipts so we don't know if it was valid or not . oh and add taxes and another fee for debit or credit card read more

Came here for the first time this past Monday and will definitely be going back. This place is a hidden gym. It is a great place to bring your family. The kids enjoyed themselves and didn't want to leave. We came on a Monday so the parking wasn't bad and the Park was not crowded at all. Only downfall it was a super hot but we enjoyed ourselves. They have a concession stand that sells food or you can bring your own picnic set up. They have Avalon that you can rent or you can bring your own tent and utilize the picnic tables. The bathrooms are fairly clean, but of course there was no air circulating. I do wish they had some type of fountain where you could get filtered water from for free. Definitely on my to do list for next summer! read more

Do not come after 10 am on Saturday because they will turn your family around even if you have a pavilion...

Not sure if the prices have changed but we went here around June and it was $99 for a party of 4 with our student IDs. It was a nice outing. The place was a bit smaller than what we were use to. Since corona they only had less than 50% occupancy. The boys enjoyed the slides. They happened very quickly since it wasn't full and the wait was fairly quick. I can't say how things would be if there wasn't corona. If it gets more packed I wouldn't really think it'll be a good idea since there weren't too many activities. There is two concessions. One for real food and the other was snacks and sweets. I was able to try both and they aren't unreasonable priced. I liked that they didn't overly charge for things and I believe you can bring in food etc. as well. read more

Family and I came here for the final weekend of the waterpark's season. We had a great time. We loved we can bring in a cooler, food, grill, tent, chairs, whatever you would like to make a day of it and have a great time. Each slide has at least two lifeguards and the pool had lifeguards stationed all the way around. The park was not overcrowded like some others we've been to. The food concession costs were not too bad. Cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and corn dogs were $3-$4. You can buy a whole pizza for $13. Any of them you can make a combo which becomes kinda pricey for me. But we brought snacks and food. Ice cream and sno cones were also only $3-$4. Lockers can be rented. Most people will respect your things, but we did hear radios towards the end of the day that a customer was taking tips out of the tip jar. And folks wonder why we can't have anything nice. The facilities are fine, but a change of policy occurred suddenly, and it costs about an extra 300.00. I think the local pool might not change policy according to race and it will be a little cheaper. read more

i used to love this place and went ever year and this year was awful the blue shirt guys parking people was very unprofessional and asking him a question about the parking situation he got aggressive and put in hands in my face screaming. the lifeguard's was letting people through footballs all over you and you would have to block the ball from hitting your kids and they never once said anything, they were letting people jump all over you off the wooden porch so you would have to swim under the porch to get across to the slides. it was just a horrible experience and probably won't spend $100 dollars again to have 0 professionalism somewhere that used to be the perfect place. read more

Our favorite summer hangout spot! The lifeguards are friendly and they are alert, the food is reasonably priced and the use of the cabanas are decent. The price to park inside the gate is a tad bit steep but, we pay it to be closer to the amenities. Next year we will all be getting season passes. Thanks y'all!! read more

It's a fun place for the whole family of all ages. We reserved a pavilion ahead of time which was nice but there were lots of wasps and bees flying around. We were glad we brought some repellant that we sprayed around several times. We brought our own food but they do have a concession stand to purchase food. read more

This is one of the best hidden places in Alabama. It is a great place to take the kiddies and just relax. There are a great many water slide for the older ones to ride plus the pool is huge. You can also cook out and fish if you don't want to stay in the pool. We go here at least once or twice a year and love every minute of it. Plus if you forget the sunscreen, they sell it at the little shop. From Huntsville, it's about an hours drive but it is well worth the trip. read more
