Let's start with what I like. It has a price list of services so I know what and how much I am paying for. I always visit this place every time I come to Vegas and I used to get a male masseuse and I always came out relaxed. This time I got a female masseuse and I am really disappointed. I think I got a foot rub rather than a foot massage. She basically put lotion on my feet and rub them with her hands. I have a well lotioned feet but I still desperately needed a foot massage. This is the most expensive $48 ($38+$10 tip) foot rub. I don't know why I tip her. I should have known when they asked me to pay them first. I have never been to one that I have to pay first. I was extremely disappointed with the customer service and the quality of the massage. I made an appointment here for a couples massage about 2 or so weeks ago. When I walked in, the lady seemed surprised that she had an appointment, especially for 2 people. I also specified on the phone the type of massage I wanted, and the person said she had written it down. The woman I spoke to in person had no clue. Moving on to the actual massage, the oil is COLD and the blanket isn't long enough to cover the whole body. Also, my massage was very uneven, he was focused on mostly massaging my right side, and now my whole left body feels neglected. The oil copious amounts of oil on you, which is extremely unnecessary and messy. BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES: one third of the way through the massage, the masseuse asked me "is hot stone okay?" I said sure, because all my previous couples massage had it. NOPE it's an extra 20 dollar charge!!! Also TIP IS MANDATORY, which I hated. I only wanted to tip a few bucks, but they wouldn't let us leave and kept pressuring us to tip another 20. I felt really awkward and uncomfortable and wanted to get the hell out of there. My first impression was, "A quick little break among the fun times in Vegas." There's a ton of things to do in Vegas, at all hours of the day. Spend $38 for a one hour break off the Strip and get a good head to toe massage. The Yelp check in offer was awesome too for a hot foot scrub. After all the walking and sights, this was a nice and relaxing break. It doesn't hurt that there's also some great Asian food options nearby in Chinatown too. We began with the foot scrub then a full body massage in a communal room. The masseuse make sure the pressure wasn't too strong or too weak and checked in throughout to make sure we were comfortable with the level of intensity on the massage. The place was casual, no appointment needed and was full of tourists and locals. It was a nice little break in between plans we had made in Vegas. My husband and I came here for foot massage and he had a great experience, my was not so wonderful and there for still giving 2 stars. There were really several reason. As another reviewer mentioned, my particular masseuse fell asleep quite a few time where I had to wiggle my feet to wake him up. He had a 3 move routine he just kept repeating until it became annoying. I had to ask him to work on the other parts of my feet that he otherwise didn't touch. The toes were all he seemed to want to work on, over and over again and half of it was painful I kept having to jerk my foot away. I've never actually ever been happy a massage was over. I still tipped because the guy has to earn a living, and I felt bad that he looked confused when I tipped, 15$, 5$ less than my husband did, but what was I supposed do? Wanted to get a massage before the flight back out to ft Lauderdale. So came by Chinatown to find a place and from the time I called to arrival they were great and provided great service. The pricing was very reasonable. I received a full body which came with the hot stone and my therapist was Ilene. She was great when I asked her if she can focus on certain areas. Really terrible experience. Probably the worse I've ever had. My masseuse was late, inconsistent with the massage, talking most of the time with the other masseuse next to her. She told me to grab all my things to move over to another room where I got a really bad body massage. I'be never been transferred over to another room (which this cut into our time). Pros: I can't find a better massage place than spring spa. I went a couple months ago with my boyfriend and we both thought this place was amazing. I slept on my neck wrong the night before and had terrible neck and back pain and didn't tell the lady before the massage. She spent majority of the time on my back in one specific area and went hardcore. She also popped my neck and put my arms and legs in weird positions that popped my entire spine. How's that even possible?! Anyways, super intense massage and I felt amazing afterwards. Con: just one. The price! We went in thinking it's around $30 an hr like many other Chinese owned spas but this place costed $60/hour per person! That's so much for a massage spa on spring mountain... We usually tip at least $20 per person but since this place is super expensive already, my boyfriend tipped $15 a person and paid a total of $150. Please lower your prices!! Very good price. Very skilled massage. If you're serious about getting your body re-aligned, go get some expensive fu-fu massage at an over rated hotel on the strip. This place is legit. My husband and I got a couple's massage. Both therapists knew their trade remarkably well. They are more the caliber of what you should find in a physical therapist's office. They used heat, depth, hydrotherapy, and directional massage to trace muscle groups, promote circulation, release bound tendons & nerves. I had a rib that was out. She found it and fixed it. My husband works with large scale compressors in a highly industrialized oil field. The therapist recognized issues with his neck, shoulders, & lower back. This is not American traditional. So if you aren't willing to get out of your comfort-zone, stick with substandard feel-good places. Massage was good. It was supposed to be 60 minutes but they took forever to come in and start after my husband and I got undressed and onto the beds. Then switching from the beds after "30 minutes " to go out and finish the foot part was all included in their 60 minutes....and they still wrapped it up 5 minutes early. The foot part was a bit uncomfortable and even painful at points. I didn't like being in a huge room next to people I didn't even know (one was snoring). The massages cost $40 I think. I decided to tip her some, even though it wasn't amazing. Then she had the nerve to point to the poster on the wall and indicate what I gave her wasn't enough. The therapist being very professional, someone ask me if I prefer women or a men, I feel so good after and I have a problem with my back so it's not easy to impressed me , and I put 15 $ tip ( i think it's a lot ) but I was really impressed. 2 weeks later ( with different therapist) I was coming again and it was the worst treatment I ever had. He didn't ask me what I prefer, he put me on a small room with short bad that close to the door and I was suffering all the treatment . This was my husband and I first couple massage or any massage and I would definitely recommend it and I would do it again. The atmosphere was very soothing the music and low lights made it relaxing. We were escorted to a private room for the massage. I paid 10 extra each for the hot stones and it was blissful. I was worried it might feel awkward or that I'd feel embarrassed but I was too busy being in heaven. My husband said his technician was a little rougher than mine but he still enjoyed it as much as I did. After the massage we went to the next room for our green tea foot soak and sugar scrub. It wasnt just a quick dip and scrub they continued to massage the calfs and ankles and feet it felt amazing. By the time we were done I felt like I could just float out the door. Made an appointment and they texted me a pic of the location (unique and nice touch). The green tea salt foot scrub was nice; lots of exfoliation. The first half of the 60 min combo was on my feet in a public room with other people laying in it. The pressure was firm and good; they asked if I wanted a back massage in a private room; since men were sitting in the public room I said yes as I knew I'd take my shirt off to lay under the towel. Room small but okay; back massage strong and good if you like your muscles (literally) pounded (and I do.) Not a bad place for a foot spa. Excellent service here! The rooms are all fairly small and intimate. Everything is also very clean and the staff is super friendly. I've been here multiple times now and each time has been sooo relaxing!! I highly recommend the foot, shoulder, and back one for a total of one hour. The service all together is only $40 and it is a great value. You can make appointments and I recommend doing so if you have a large party. If you have a smaller party walking in is okay. I have a herniated disc L5 S1 degenerative disc disease arthritis etc. in my back and I was having massive pain today so I decided to try this place. The female that worked on my back, her name was Jessica. I did a 30 minute massage which was very reasonably priced at $40 and Jessica made me feel like a new woman!!!I have had massages at the four seasons hotel and this one was way better! This place is amazing! One of the best foot spa in Las Vegas. It's very clean and they have friendly staff. Upon entering the spa, their staff greeted us with warmth welcome. I told one of the staff that I have groupon and the I have two different kinds of groupon for me, my boyfriend, and his mom. They checked our groupon and told us to sit on the chair. My groupon is for shampoo and scalp massage and detox ion and the other two is for hot stone massage and detox ion. One of the staff told me follower him to the other room where they do the shampoo and scalp massage. Man, I love the scalp massage and it was so relaxing. It was worth it, he did it for about 30 mins and when it was done, he blow dry my hair. He then told me to go back to the other room to do my detox ion. Decided to come here with my sister around 130-2am. I have gone to many massage parlors in vegas. The fact that they stay open till 4am is what really brought us in. They told us we could get an hour for 38 where you out your feet in hot water and the work 10 minutes on your back and shoulders. Or we could get a body massage where our clothes are off and it would be 60. It was late and we had a long week so decided to do the fully body. A small lady brought us into the room. I thought maybe she was the owners daughter because she looked like she was 14 years old. I was surprised when I found out she was going to massage me. My sister got a male who looked about 18 years old. I know age should not matter, but we seriously felt like they had no idea what they were doing. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have their license. I can't believe we paid 60 dollars each. I want to say half way through, the lady working on me told me she had an appointment so I was going to get someone else. At this point I was was hoping he would be better. It was a little better. They were both pretty strong. My sister said the young man she had was very strong, but no one had good technique. There was absolutely none! My sister had to tell him to stop several times because it was hurting her. Let me tell you why this is NOT worth it and I won't be returning... Found them on groupon as do most people writing these reviews. I was a little worried since i read mixed reviews. Our experience was AMAZING. We did the couples massage and they were so good. Just the right pressure and perfect working out of all my knots. If you are not willing to tip then you dont need to go anywhere. There must be a reason they feel the need to tell people to tip, but they never talked to us about it nor did they pressure us because I told them what i wanted up front. The rocks are a must!! This review is for the head shampoo service only. Master Spa is one of the few places in town that advertise this service. (Of course, this is not to be confused with the service also known as body shampoos found at places with questionable intentions.) When inquiring about this service, we were led passed the chairs reserved for foot massages and into the back room. This room had three massage beds with sinks specifically built attached to them. The Husband and I then had our shoulders covered with a towel and plastic to prevent those areas from getting wet and we laid down with our heads over the sink. This is where the similarities ended. The person I had was Mark. I have long hair. He started to massage my scalp for a little while before turning the water on to wet my hair. He then shampooed my hair and spent a considerable amount of time 'scratching' my scalp. This is something that can be enjoyable and quite relaxing depending on the person and the circumstance, but it was just okay this time. He then also did some cranial pressure before rinsing my hair of the shampoo and applying conditioner. He made a point of making sure my hair was completely conditioned as he ran a comb through it all. And then he rinsed all the conditioner out and squeezed some of the water out of my hair. I was then instructed to get up so we could walk to a smaller room where he would blow dry my hair. He then dried my hair and ran a brush through it to get rid of any tangles. And then I was done. Unfortunately, my hair was still a bit damp and the bottom half of my shirt in the back was all wet from the walk from the sink to the blow drying room. (Perhaps he could have wrapped my hair in a towel to prevent that from happening.) He apologized for the wet shirt part but I had to go blow dry my shirt as a result. 3 stars. Meanwhile, the Husband has practically no hair and he had Reao. He said he didn't get that much scratching, but more pressure on his scalp, face, and shoulders. While I was getting my hair blow dried, he was still getting cranial work done. He felt so relaxed that he almost fell asleep. He tried to inquire about what other services would take place if we had chosen the 60 minute option, but Reao did not quite understand him. She thought he was trying to extend his experience to the 60 minute one. He wanted to know if they were going to focus more on the scalp, shoulders, or face. He really enjoyed it and would do it again. 4.5 stars from him. I think I lost out on the experience because: a) I had a guy. (And unfortunately I believe he smelled of cigarette smoke. So with my sensitive sense of smell, and him running his hands through my hair, it was distracting.) b) I have long hair. Because so much time was spent shampooing, conditioning, and blow drying, there was less time for cranial work. Yes, I know it's called a head shampoo but you know you're really there for good cranial work. It's almost like a glorified hair shampooing experience at your local salon. Overall, I think if you're a bald guy, you may just love it. Half the experience at a hair salon is getting your head shampooed and massaged and this place focuses on that part. Unfortunately, I just didn't get that many head tingles from the experience like I was hoping for! Would I go back? Maybe - if I cut my hair and/or if I get a girl next time. Some girls just know how to massage the scalp better, maybe it's the nail thing? 30 minutes = $25 60 minutes = $48 60 minutes combo = $45 (30 minute head shampoo and 30 minute reflexology) They are located exactly next door to Ichiza.
