As a handicap individual, I am reliant on others for transportation and don't readily know hours ahead of time if one will cancel. I explained this to them when I first became their patient. She proceeded to only give me appointments months away for urgent problems and twice, when I actually showed up an hour early, she told me my appointment had been cancelled..not by ME! My last appointment she pulled the same garbage and said the doctor wasn't even there.......I say her, myself, in the back!. I then received a letter saying I was no longer allowed as a patient because I had cancelled these last two appointments ..the ones I WAS THERE FOR. It's a shame that excellent doctors are ruled by such an unprofessional discriminating desk aide!

Very sad, it seems as though the staff here do not completely care about some of their patients. Hopefully they should call me today with information, hopefully from the nurse practitioner & not just a nurse informing me: "We're not sure'.

My last visit he didn't even lift my sleeve up to see how swollen my elbow was. He proceeded to tell me that after ( 4 other doctors and 11 years of treatment) on my elbow ( tennis elbow) he saw nothing . Well again he didn't. Even look at the swelling! I couldn't believe as I left ORA that this was a pain management doctor. Lucky for me , my husband is a Veteran and we have dual residency, I've contacted a doctor in Nevada who is familiar with my injury from 30 years of doing cocktails and they will treat it . What a waste ! Took me months to get into see him.

My last two appointments a brand new Nurse with zero experience saw me because my usual one took a surprise extended vacation. Then, I waited two months to see their actual doctor, got to appt on time and 45 min later told that the doctor did not come in as usual at 9:15. Then, I was there an additional 2 hours while they wrote me a refill on my Rx and printed out results from a test taken two-three weeks ago. They blamed myself and the other patients for their issues. They refused to help with my issues that I came in to speak to the doctor about, and they also violated HIPPA by explaining my entire case file with the entire staff within earshot of every patient on the non-urgent side and the waiting room. Also, if you request assistance with pain, such as pain management and what to do about it as a tonic-clonic epileptic, they treated me like a drug addict trying to get pills. Unbelievable waste of several hours.

I have been a patient here for the majority of my life. I have always had decent care. Even though…read moremy primary physician is Dr. Wells, I was generally seen by Cammie Davis. I have recently become disappointed with this office, specifically, their billing practices. Please check your bills & call if you have questions concerning them. Let me explain. I had a yearly physical on May 4th of this year. During my physical I was asked questions about my health, as most physicals do. I then explained my situation with my back and that I had been diagnosed at the ER with severe sciatica. I explained further that I was struggling with pain and I had gone to chiropractic care, massage therapy and a combination of yoga/strength training. Yet, with all of these things, I still struggled with pain -- I sit at a desk for 8 hours of my day. I believe this plays a huge part in my struggle. I told Dr. Wells that I had requested accommodation for a different chair at work and that my chiro had suggested a ball chair. Dr. Wells asked if I had paperwork for her to fill out, I said yes, and she completed it for me. I then left my appointment. Later, I received a bill in the mail. My physical should have been covered by my insurance. I had been charged for two separate appointments. I called the billing office to see why I was charged for two separate appointments when I was there for one. The woman I spoke with said it was because Dr. Wells went, and I quote, "above and beyond her duties," for me in my physical. Excuse me? Please tell me, am I not supposed to share my ailments with my doctor? Are you not, as a physician, supposed to help? All I see from this is greed. And I find it unfortunate that as a doctor, she could be seen as going above and beyond her duties by signing a piece of paper. And that this signature is worth $108.95! Oh, and by the way, because of her LACK of going above and beyond for me and my request, I was denied a request for a "ball chair" because she failed to provide support as a MD. I hope they enjoy the money. P.S. I agree on a previous review on the receptionist. Be prepared for an attitude. I dread calling the office. P.PS. Pay attention to what you say in your appointment because they can bill you based on what was "discussed". Please see the letter attached. If I had known I would have been charged for bringing up the fact that my back hurt & if I needed to do anything further, etc., I certainly wouldn't have.

I don't get angry about it, though, because I know the reason for that is that she will NOT rush ANY visit WITH ANY patient. Over the course of the day enough people think of additional questions that keeps her busy answering and she just runs behind. I would rather have to wait longer than normal and have her undivided attention for as long as I need it when I do see her. She has never failed to meet that expectation which is why we have been seeing her for over 20 years now I would say. Despite how many patients she might see over the course of a day/week/or month it never ceases to amaze me how she always remembers bits and pieces of what I do for a living and always asks about my wife. Keep in mind that I typically only see her maybe 2-3 times/year. She must have an excellent memory. We feel fortunate to have her as our primary care physician. By and large I would say that all the staff that I have ever dealt with were equally courteous and kind as Dr. Kumar is. I always feel like I am treated with the utmost courtesy and kindness.
