I literally went out of my way to hit this location up. I had made my stops and typed in to see…read morewhere a nearby Sheetz was. Unfortunately for me, I did not look at where it actually was and just jumped in the vehicle and followed the directions. About halfway here I realized I was heading north when I needed to be heading south to head home. But I was in no hurry this day and decided that I would just go with it. Was there a particular reason for me stopping at this location, not really. My objective is to visit as my Sheetz locations as I can and some of them are out of the way. If I have time, I will make sure to hit up as many as I can on a road trip. Martinsburg has a few that I didn't even know exist. I pulled in here and right up to a parking spot. I figured I would head inside and purchase an item or two. I didn't go far into the store, but could tell that this is the typical Sheetz you come across now. Newer looking, aisles set up per usual. Coolers in the back. But I made a detour right to the counter and asked for my items. This is about the only place I have been recently where I was actually carded. I'm no longer young looking, so it surprised me. The employee told me he had to scan every ID when it came to purchases like these. I'm fine with that, but it would have been nice to know with signage so I could be better prepared for it instead of fumbling with my wallet and holding up the line. Before getting back into my vehicle I took a few minutes to just take in the morning outside. I was in no hurry to make it home and just took in the scenery, did a bit of people watching, then got back in my vehicle to continue towards home.

Got in line 2 different times and both times customers needed help and lady up front named Angela…read morewould say she couldn't assist people, like checking lotto cards or even getting change. Would roll her eyes. Each time she was being rude older gentleman named Buddy would say he can help. Was a shame to see. If you don't like people or your job then you need to find another one.. I won't be coming back to this location. If you keep employees like that then Sheetz doesn't care about customers

I've been coming here for 40 years, I came today Sunday July 30th around 12:20 for gas, I forgot…read moremy debit card so I ran into pay cash, I asked for 18 gallons on unleaded 87. The burdened and bothered cashier said - I need a dollar amount, which I know is true. But I still said $40 knowing I'd have to come in for the change. So I asked if I could put my rewards number in and she said -NO I CANNOT, $40! She was burdened, rude and miserable, no one was in the store but the pumps were backed up , everyone paying with cards leaving her with nothing to do but stand their being bothers by her job. She was rude & a bit hard looking. She has no business being on the forefront of any business. Murphy's has been around for many years, well loved and respected business, unfortunately Curella Deville is cancer on the business. As long as she is there I'll never return. Sad... 40 years of support ruined by one person with no Invest, sad.

This place has the worst customer services, the lady with the bad wig always looks pissed and has…read moreattitudes all the time, I've witnessed her talking bad about customers to customers standing in line when they walk out of the store, gas is .15 cheaper but the service and outdated retail isn't worth the .15!! Take your lottery tickets in to cash in and really get treated like an inconvenience!! Good little town staple going down the drain because the bad wig lady is so miserable she can't stand herself, and she takes it out on the people of Hedgesville!! To many other places to stop where you get treated like you should, you know the people paying thier salary!!

This AC&T location has gas, propane, a Subway restaurant, a little market deli, a convenience store…read moreand two car wash bays. Since their opening in November 2013 or so, I have availed myself of all services except propane. Let me break it down for y'all. The Facility 4.5 stars The gas pumps are plentiful, well lit and well placed. As expected with a new gas station, everything is clean so far and each time I've pumped gas, there was ample room in the trash cans and the squeegee bins were full of clean(ish) water. The convenience store is very clean and well-laid out. The system they have for ordering freshly made food is a bit odd. One places the order, gets a ticket, walks over to the convenience store check out, pays and then goes back and waits for the food to be ready. With Subway, you get your sandwich first and then go to pay. It would be nice if they had seating placed out of the way for the folks waiting for their food orders. Sometimes if you are there to shop at the convenience store and they're busy, it's hard to navigate all the people standing around waiting for food The Service 2 stars It's okay...about what one would expect these days at a convenience store. The check out clerks seem bored and going through the motions. I witnessed one get snarky with a lady in front of me whose credit card was declined. The food service clerks seem to have an issue with priorities. They'll let someone's order sit in the window so that they can take an order of someone that just walked up. There's also not a lot of attention to detail. I've gotten home with an order twice now that was incorrect or missing something in some way. Shame on me for not checking (at least the second time). The young man that has waited on me at Subway is polite and efficient, though. The Convenience Store 4 stars The store is very well-stocked. Essentially, if you need it, they have it. You may pay a pretty penny, but it's all about "convenience", right? Subway 4 stars This Subway is available 24 hours a day, which is nice. The food is typical of a Subway, with the vegetables and bread always fresh in my experience. They do not seem to have all the options that a full-service Subway location has, however. The Market Deli 2 stars "Meh" is the best word I can come up with to describe the fresh food options offered here. Most items are fried, which would lead one to believe they change their oil pretty often. In my experience, they don't. Let me start by telling y'all that I'm a country girl for the most part. I grew up in East Texas and love my fried food. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm a fried-food expert (someone looking at my hind end might disagree), but I sure do love my chicken fried, so to speak. I got all kinds of excited when I saw their marquee advertising Chicken Livers. You can stop gagging now. I sent my husband in one Saturday to get an order of livers. He came home with gizzards. I'm okay with that... I like gizzards too but it's hard to find good gizzards. The AC&T experience drove that experience home. They were awful. They were overcooked (nearly burned) and were horribly...rubberized? I ate one and threw the rest out. Take 2... went in myself and got chicken livers. Got them home and once again, overcooked. They were dark, dark, dark brown and tasted of old oil. The livers I've come to know and love have crispy, golden brown breading. These were dark, sludgy brown. They were also kind of rubbery. I have yet to try the fried chicken and I think I'm going to have to pass. As for the sides, they aren't very good. The mac and cheese is bland and flavorless. The mashed potatoes are, too. I have been afraid to try the vegetables, so I can't speak to them. The white gravy is alright. Their rolls are good. The Car Wash 4.5 stars The Touch Free bay is always empty. That's because for the same money, you can get a wash in the Soft Touch bay, which provides a much more thorough wash. The pricing is alright for the area. If you don't have another option (which is often the case out here), the food will do from AC&T. The gas prices are competitive and have kept the BP station up the road in line for the most part. The place is well lit and easy to get in and out of.
