I really hate to leave poor reviews. It's not my nature, but after going through the billing process and trying to cancel, I didn't have any other alternative. I wanted a locally owned company, (which they are not) and cancelled because the communication was awful. There was never any indication that service was completed or what type of service was done, so I cancelled, or so I thought. Spring Green's email goes un-replied and un-monitored obviously. I received another treatment after I cancelled, but was told by agent ( I didn't cancel the right way) so I continued being called and texted weekly for a $50 bill. If only I had received this type of communication while I was a customer, but again, not locally owned, so they don't care, unless it's a bill. Hence, I reluctantly paid it, (because I had cancelled) and hopefully that is the last communication, but I chose to go to Oasis Lawn care, which is locally owned and operated and am very happy with the results. read more

Billing sucks and is often incorrect. Emails are not acknowledged, let alone responded to. My yard has not improved. At all. In 2 years.

Wish I could give zero stars. This company is the worst service we have ever had from a Lawn Care company in the history of ever. Our previous Lawn Company had gone out of business, we were assured by Gina herself that the customer service of this company would meet our expectations from the amazing service we received from the Lawn Doctor. She could NOT have been more deceiving. The communication is some of the poorest I've ever experienced from a company. They have serious communication and service issues. We have never dealt with so many weeds in our yard before using this company. Weeds were constantly popping up all over and up and down our driveway which were easily visible yet every time they'd come out to "treat/service" our yard, there the weeds would remain. I would specifically call and ask someone to come and spray, they'd tell me someone would be out and of course.. you guessed it, no one would come out. In the fall we were quoted a price for over-seeding and irrigation so we proceeded. What we were actually charged was much higher. Fine, it got done, we'll pay it. Spring comes around and Spring Green is nowhere to be seen. At all. No treatments no nothing. We wondered if this was due to our account having a balance on it yet we were steadily making payments so it didn't make sense to us. Between my husband and I we continuously called leaving voicemails and trying to get ANYONE to answer and tell us why our yard was not being treated and if they no longer wanted to service our yard.... CRICKETS. Literally NEVER got a call back, voicemail, email... it was like they dissapeared into thin air, nonexistent. March, April, May went by and zero service call was ever made. We have records of over 10 calls from us being made, 5 voicemails being left, 4 emails being sent with ZERO response from a single person, these spanned from March to May where we gave up. I refuse to send money to a company that will not communicate AT ALL with what is going on with our account other than to send us automated bills through email on the computer. I would even respond to those, no response. Finally on May 7th we were reached out to through email by someone named Alyssa with Spring Green. I communicated that this was the first time we had heard from someone at Spring Green and all of our efforts to make contact were being ignored. I told her how many times we had tried to reach someone and that we had records of all of these for proof and she responded telling me that she understood my frustration and that she would tell her supervisor to review and contact us. I'll let you take a guess on whether we ever heard one single word from anyone. You guessed it... NOPE! I would NEVER recommend this company to another family ever. If you're looking for a company that doesn't care at all about it's customers and that just shows up(or doesn't show up) at houses assigned, lays what its supposed to lay for typical seasonal treatment and leaves with no communication then sure, these are your guys but I hope you never have billing issues because they'll never answer your calls. I won't use again. Technician doesn't follow my requests, makes excuses, and does a poor job. They robo call you, promise to come for the application, then do not show up, they often just go to voicemail, and they email you too frequently. Lastly, my yard is not improved, and they are very sparing on their chemicals. I had to handle a lot of weeds myself. read more

I have recently taken over responsibility of my grandparents home after the need of assisted living. I have been mowing this lawn for 4 years for them, every one of which has seen 15%-20% of that lawn dead or barren. I have never thought much about it until today when i received a bill for a fertilizer treatment for $36.75, I had no idea a lawn care company was servicing this address, great, no problem. I call the Greenwood location and inquire as to how long they have been servicing this address and what can be done about the patches. She informs me they have been treating this lawn for 8 years, again, at least 4 of which has been a straight up dust bowl to mow. When i ask why something hasn't been done in four years about the patches, the woman over the phone gets as offended and upset as if i had insulted her child. She tells me for 1- that everyone has had an insect problem last year. While this is understandable, it isn't believable over 4 years. I see True Green trucks leaving lush green lawns every year. 2- That they try and teach customers how to plant and maintain the patches. Again, this is a couple in their 80's, And as if hiring a lawn care company wasn't effort enough to care for a lawn. 3- That they don't do services for free. Understandable! but NO ONE asked them for free anything nor any discounts. As you can see from the photo Ive provided, the technician specifically indicates that this lawn DOES NOT; require any watering, have any disease problem present, have any insect problem present, or require any aeration. This company nickel'd and dime'd an elderly couple for 8 years it seems, treating a lawn that obviously needed other services while not recommending them. something tells me this company alone has an "insect problem" every year. All of these thing maybe could have been corrected/explained by a professional adult answering your phone, but thats most certainly not what you have at the greenwood location. read more

I have used SPRING GREEN lawn service for quite a few years now. I think I have the nicest looking lawn in the neighborhood. People are always stopping and complementing me which makes me feel so good. A lot of my neighbors around me, by my recommendation, now also use SPRING GREEN. The staff goes above and beyond to help with any problem you might have. They are conscientious workers and you can really tell they care by the job they do. If you are not completely satisfied, all you have to do is call and they will come and redo It or make it right. I am very pleased and I would not have anybody else take care of my lawn. read more

I called 9 times in the last month. 6 times it went straight to voicemail. I left messages that were ignored 5 of those times. Two times I got through to someone and asked to speak with a supervisor. One time the male who answered the phone said that she had just stepped out, and to call back later. I call back later....you guessed it....voicemail. The second time I got through I was told someone would be out at "lunch time" to speak with me. I waited the whole day. I called back and was informed that they meant "lunch time" the next day. I asked that prior to putting down any applications, that I wanted to speak with someone. When lunch time rolled around, I see the tech putting down a spray. When I confronted him as to why he didn't talk to me first, he said no one told him and that they have been having trouble with the office. I have bare spots, broad leaf weeds, and a freshly sprouted area that was killed by whatever chemical they put on it, after being asked not to. When we first contacted Spring-Green we had one of the worse yards in the greater neighborhood. Fought dandelions for years never making much progress. We started in Spring and by mid summer we had to look for a dandelion--one found next to the property line that probably came from seeds from the neighbor. But not only did we get the weed problem down, our yard actually began to green up, stay green, and became much fuller. They know the business and take their time during their applications. Noticed other companies doing jobs in the neighborhood and they seem to zip in and out so quickly. Highly recommend Spring-Green for any service they offer. read more

Had some issues with weeds and some spots that were maybe missed while being treated,I just called and talked to a very nice young lady and they were back out within a week and fixed the issues with my lawn.
