Billing sucks and is often incorrect. Emails are not acknowledged, let alone responded to. My yard has not improved. At all. In 2 years.

We have used this Lawn Service last year when they first started out. It's just too young guys…read moregetting started so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and a chance to prove their selves. They do not always follow directions of what you're wanting. Last year I told them I wanted the leaves, raked or blown into the yard and mowed, instead they blew the leaves all against our chain-link fence and a big pile of them on the deck of our shed that is on the other side of the fence . I went out and said something about it. They said they did not have time to correct it that they had to get to another job and they could come back and do it. I said just forget it My husband will be home this week and he can help me rake the leaves up. We were going to go ahead and let the dogs play in a pile before we put them over the fence since they were already there. (Our house borders woods) I couldn't do it all myself since I'm disabled with a bad back and neck from a work injury. So this year you would think they would be more professional and do a better job. Unfortunately, that is not the case. It looks like a five year old mowed the lawn with a toy lawnmower. They did not weed eat where they were supposed to, they did not mow the whole front yard , and when I asked about the weed eating in the backyard and why it was not done correctly, they said it was something to do with their weedeater strings, our chairs and the sticks we had piled by the fire pit. I wasn't that concerned about the ones in the sticks, My concern was around the lawn chairs that sit around the fire pit & around the stick pile that they could access. in the pictures you'll see what I'm talking about. He could've told me to have the chairs stacked or he could have moved them. He weed eated around them last year. We have a blind husky so we try and leave everything where it is because she knows the layout. When I said something about the grass not looking like it was mowed in the front yard and had him mow it again he said that it was too hard to lower the blades on the big lawnmower that they use. They are not comfortable going on the hill in the backyard with a big lawnmower so they have a push mower that they use in the back yard, which is easy to adjust the blades but again the grass was still too long. They wanted to start mowing at 7 AM on a Saturday morning, So my husband and I got up early so they can come mow. They did not come until 11 AM because he stayed out too late with his friends the night before. We have to unlock our back gate and close the dog doors, that's why we have to be there when anyone does yard work. I asked if they could do our side yard which had a lot of ivy that needed cut out and he said yes well that didn't get done when they came this last time either. He went to try to weed eat it, and the strings broke and he said he couldn't do it . After all this going on, I went ahead and hired our old company back which had no problem, mowing the grass properly without even having to be told how short and what to weed eat. He also said that he would cut the ivy back for me if I needed it done, but it would take some time because he's booked. But he did chop some of it back for me while he was weed eating. No broken string. Zack, the owner of the Lawn Service is a really nice guy. Easy to talk to stuff like that I won't talk bad about him like that but his work ethics is not to match his personality. What me as a customer sees is him doing very little work mowing the front yard and his partner Marcus mowing the backyard doing all the weed eating and doing the blow . While Zach is sitting in the truck on his phone. This is how us as a customer see him and when I pointed it out to him that Marcus does more work he got a little upset about it. He said he does all the paperwork that's why Marcus looks like he's doing most of the lawn work. Well, customers don't see that or care, they hired you as a team and expect to see team work. He does not take criticism well when he tells ya to let him know if he didn't do something correctly. He has an excuse for everything. Our dogs have social media. They are kind of celebrity dogs, so I always post pictures of them and you can see the yard and the work thats been done. We fired them and hired a better, more professional lawn service. I sent Zack a picture showing the difference in the hight of the grass from his to the new company... that's when all the sudden out of the blue he has a policy... another excuse. It had only been 3 days from when Zack mowed when the other guy mowed. He said that if we fire them that we cannot hire them for another two years, which is not gonna be a problem, considering I told him that I would not even recommend him to anyone. I'm posting pictures of both his work and the new persons work. I'm not mentioning the new lawn service because this review isn't about them. Our dog's social media is Growing up husky. Plenty of outside pictures.
