I learned about Game 162 through their Doc Gooden event on 5/28/24. The batting cages are located…read moreat the back of a shoe store. Pitching machines are available and prices are affordable compared to similar cages - really great to have batting cages available in the Flushing area. Individualized baseball lessons are also available with Coach Pablo - he's coached for the EEP Bandits travel team. Doc Gooden event was great - he gave a pep talk to the children about friendships and the importance of having fun. It was originally going to be a pitching clinic, but the event was tweaked a bit and Doc ended up throwing batting practice to all the children. I guess my son can say Doc Gooden threw BP to him. Afterwards everyone lined up for autographs and we were able to get a baseball and baseball card signed. I will definitely be returning to Game 162 for their batting cages and I hope they continue to do signings with other baseball players.

Wow, after reading two horrid reviews I was really skeptical about coming here, but a friend of…read moremine who has used this place in the past said they do an Excellent job in embroidery work on sports jerseys. I have a hockey jersey that I wanted embroidered with my main man NY Rangers goalie extraordinare #30 Henrik Lundqvist put on. For starters the 2 men that I dealt with were strictly business. No small talk, no smile just what do you need, this is the price, should be ready by this date and I'll give you a call when it's ready. The price I paid to have the jersey embroidered was not cheap, but honestly it came out really nice! The stitching and alignment of the letters and numbers were spot on! The jersey was ready in 3 days. The reason they are getting 3 stars is because of the "This is Strictly business" attitude with their customers. They weren't mean or nasty but cracking a smile and engaging in small talk just makes good business sense. I don't know call me old fashioned, but I was always taught "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar!" I would still go back because the workmanship is solid and you get what you paid for. I just wish next time they can crack a smile or two. i.e. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
