Blown away by this great company and great people. I dropped off two mattresses which were only $20 each and actually do get recycled!! They take credit cards too. This is important because other more expensive pick up mattress services will discard a mattress to the landfill if they can't repurpose it which isn't true recycling. They recycle mattresses, foam, and bed frames. That means they can also recycle the foam squares that are used in gymnastics pits. Only $5 for a 90 gallon lawn bag. I was so excited about this I shared it with Wulf Recreation Center, Pinnacle gymnastics, and Tiger in Arvada. The owner, Chris, is the kind of person that you meet one time and remember for a lifetime. He volunteered at the Denver rescue mission homeless center for 12 years and created a company that benefits the environment and human capital that have passed rehab and deserve another employment chance. They offer drop off or pick up services. Salvation Army and Goodwill no longer except mattresses but they will only tell you about this resource if you remember to ask. Everyone should know about it! This is a very cost effective way to truly recycle mattresses and foam. read more

This place is great! I purchased a new mattress set but felt guilty about tossing the old one so I did some searching and found Spring Back Colorado. I called them up to see if I could drop off my old mattresses on my way to work early in the morning and they said they opened at 7am. So the next day bright and early I took the old set down and dropped them off. Although it was a little tucked away in an industrial area Google Nav led me right to them. I pulled up and a young man asked me how many pieces, I told him three and he said meet me in the office. He wrote me a receipt and took my $30 payment ($10/piece), when I returned to my truck everything was unloaded and I was ready to go. Too easy! Everyone was very friendly and their operation was very interesting, 3-4 guys working hard to break down these old mattresses and recycle the raw materials. I am not having a positive or productive experience with Spring Back Colorado. Going on day 3 after my scheduled pick up. Emailed the day of pick up with a picture of the mattress and it's location, also left a phone message today asking them to call and if they knew when they'd be coming, no response. Edited: I ended up receiving a call with apologies for missing the pick up day, as well as a prompt pick up. Robert was very kind when he showed up. I scheduled a pick up with this company, which I will say was extremely simple. Well, as fate would have it I blessed a family with the mattresses. So I emailed the night before (June 21) stating I needed to cancel and get a refund. I did not get a reply so I called the morning of and spoke to Chris and He said he would take care of it. Fast forward to October and I still hadn't received my refund. So I email Chris and again he said he would look into it and asked for my original application and phone number. I have yet to hear back and I sent a follow up email in November. Easy drop off! It is $20 for each piece you drop off (so $40 for a box spring and mattress). They will take cash or card. Cash was easiest, though. It's a bit of a drive, but I always find it interesting to drive through industrial parks. read more

I did not have a good experience: SpringBack no-call, no showed my original appointment that was scheduled and paid for two weeks in advance. When I contacted them, the manager offered to refund my payment in exchange for writing a positive review that did not include the no-call no show (shady!). The owner of the company left me a voice mail after I requested we continue the conversation over email due to me being in the middle of my work day. The owner said the transaction had become "complicated" and that I needed to call to confirm that I still wanted the mattress picked up that I scheduled to have picked up two weeks prior. When I attempted to call the business owner back: the line was busy for a solid 30 minutes, so I called the manager, who was screening my calls. When I switched to an alternate number (thanks, Google Voice) the manger answered and I squeezed a confirmation from him that they understood I would still like them to pick up the mattress I paid them to pick. When I emailed the owner, asking what about the transaction was complicated, so that I could better streamline future interactions: he chose not to respond. They did provide a $15 discount, which hit my account the morning after this experience. read more

Moving in with the fiancee who has the world's oldest bed. We planned to replace it with my newer bed, but what to do with the old one? Turns out mattress disposal is kind of a pain in the rear if you didn't just buy a new one. A friend mentioned possibly recycling, which I thought _had_ to be a way bigger pain than disposal. NOPE! I first contacted SBC via email Tuesday afternoon just to get a quote on pickup fee from Westminster (80031). The fee was really reasonable ($25 for the pick up fee and $10 per piece) and he was able to add me to their schedule as quick as Thursday morning. Yes, Thursday 9AM of the same week. That fast. Pros: Responsible recycling for good cause. Hassle free and affordable pick up service so I don't have to either a) rent a truck to deliver or b) drive down the freeway with a mattress strapped to my car. All I had to do was set my mattress and box spring outside with a check attached to it. Chris was fast and clear in his communications, professional and friendly. Done and done from start to finish within 48 hours. Crazy. Cons: Um. Might have to skip a dinner out at a restaurant now? Yeah, I can live with that. read more

Just drove 30 minutes to drop off a couple of mattresses. I had to check these guys out to see if what I read on their website was for real or just a bunch of hype. I was not disappointed. I drove up and someone immediately came out and unloaded the mattresses. Someone else came and quickly got my payment. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. While I was here I got to meet some of the guys. They were all awesome. You can immediately tell they take pride in their work and are serious about recycling and repurposing all the materials. If you need a mattress or box spring-- or both-- picked up, or even if you need to drop off, then Spring Back Colorado, is the company for you. Not only did Robert and his people completely work with me by letting me schedule a pick up for the next day (it was a horrifying situation), but he so helpful in explaining the process and what had to be done. When I confessed to him that this was new to me, and how I didn't even know how to wrap a mattress, Robert offered to help me even more in solving this dilemma! So DON'T be fooled by other companies who claim to pick up your unwanted mattresses and then at the last minute decide not to pick it up after all-- it happened to me!! What to do with old mattresses? Recycling is the way to go. I found Spring Back on my IRecycle app. So easy! Called them up and they were able to do the pick up the next day. The fee was less than the cost to dispose of them at the dump (me driving to the dump) I didn't even have to be home. Then I found out they were a non- profit giving people a second chance at life. Wow that made my day. I logged on to their website and found out I can donate as well. This place is an amazing model of how an efficient business is run. I made an appointment 2 days out and scheduled to have my mattress picked up between 8:30-3:30. They came between 8:30-8:45. Chris Conway was very prompt with responding to my emails. They don't require you to be home to do the pickup and they take checks! I love this place. I will tell everyone about Spring Back Colorado.
