Sometimes I wish I worked in or around this place so I could come here for lunch more often. As it stands, I can only drop in on the odd day off. This place is situated in the middle of a business park, making it literally a hidden gem. The deli inside is compact, with a few tables. There 's a patio area with a bunch more seating, perfect for a sunny California lunch hour. What makes this place great is that both the bread and the contents of the sandwich are tasty and fresh. One time I had a chipotle chicken sandwich on dutch crunch and it was delicious. The chicken had just the right amount of spice to give it a chipotle kick, and the dutch crunch roll was fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. One sandwich is usually plenty to satisfy my appetite. In addition they have a few deli staples, such as macaroni salad. One time they forgot to give me the salad with my sandwich and when I reminded them the owner threw in a cookie on the house... which was also delicious. After my previous not-so-glowing review i got a private message from the owner apologizing for the mayo error and he offered for me to come in, ask for him and he would ensure my sandwich is correct, and on the house. I never took him up on the offer cause of a couple reasons. 1; I have no doubt they can make the sandwich correctly. All they need to do is not add a single ingredient, so i didnt doubt they could make me a delicious sandwich if special attention was brought to it. 2; I didnt write the review for a free sammy. Now dont get me wrong, i like saving $10 just like the next guy, but he is running a small business and i dont feel right getting free stuff. I appreciate the offer, it was a class act for him to step up and reach out to me like that. That's the kind of customer service that is lacking in today's society. So i decided to give Spreadz another shot. 3rd time is a charm, right? Well, apparently it was. My sandwich was made correctly, just how i ordered it and it was an explosion of yummy flavors in my mouth. and my belly. I left full and happy, but decided to not update my review just yet. Maybe the 3rd time was a fluke, so i figured they deserved another chance. I went back a week or so later, ordered my sandwich, and it was made perfectly. No mayo to be found no matter how hard i looked. Since then i have been back 2 more times, and each time the sandwich was devoid of disgusting mayo. So here is my updated review. Great sandwiches and great service. I got there late in the afternoon so they were out of 3 of their sandwiches. So, I got the Chicken on Dutch Crunch. This was one of the best Dutch crunch rolls I've ever had. Soft on the inside and perfectly crispy just like it's supposed to be. And the meat was juicy and tender. I had a Sausalito turkey sandwich; the turkey was appropriately spicy and the light rye was delicious. Not too many delis around here have rye, so it was a nice treat for me. Like another reviewer, I was hopeful for some unique "spreadz" but alas, the only thing on the menu was Cajun mayo. Mike always makes me feel at home, and remembers what we were talking about the last time I was there. This place isn't easy to find. As I followed Google Maps, it led me into a business park. I drove around for a while before I finally found it. Once there, the environment was nice and relaxing. They have a pretty small menu of choices, ~10 sandwiches. My friend ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. I ordered the salami sandwich. Both looked ok, but neither one made me think, "WOW, I want to come back!" Right when I just started my shift at work, my manager asked me if I can help him drop off some blueprint plans to a contractor and Christmas chocolates to clients. Of course I said yes. Before I left the office, I was craving for an American sandwich so I did a quick search on Yelp before I left. This place was the closest to one of my stops and they were open early. When I got to the plaza, I was slightly lost but quickly found my way while glancing at the directory that was located at the stop sign. I drove to the end of the plaza and saw a guy wearing an apron throwing out trash. I immediately thought, "He must work at the sandwich place!" I pretty much let him finish what he was doing and then followed him to see where he was going. This is when I found the store and parked my car. When I walked inside, the employees there were busy making party trays. About a minute or two later, someone asked me if I've been helped. I said, "No, not yet." I placed my order with the guy and was told it'll be 3 minutes before my sandwiches would be ready. A few minutes later, I took my sandwiches and left. As soon as I got back to the office, I started eating. I ordered the ham on sourdough. The ingredients were very fresh but I thought the bread was a little tough. For $8.50, I thought it was a steal. I drive out of my way from Cupertino to visit this sandwich spot and have heard that they are opening another location yay for me! This place is located in PS business park cross street from NVIDIA new building in walsh ave. I ordered from them sometimes the grilled chicken sandwich and Caesar salad in lunch time. The place is packed and hard to find a place to seat from noon to 1pm, because simply it is the only place avaiable in that area to have lunch. The owner is very friendly and nice guy. the waiting time is not bad during busy time around 10 minutes. they close after 2:30pm , I went there for a late lunch but I've told they close early, if you want to get your lunch peacefully you have to go around 11:30am. in general this place is clean and the food is delicious. read more

Pretty cool little sandwich spot located in the middle of the most random business park ever. I got lost in the parking lot maze trying to find it. Pro tip: go to the middle of the complex and look for the outdoor tabled patio. Sandwiches are pretty good, the place seems a bit like Ike's. I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review! I love this place and come at least once, maybe twice a week! The staff are all so friendly and it I am always flattered when they remember my name. They are usually pretty quick, and they are quick to warn you if there's a few orders ahead of you. You can tell that they care about the business and are always quick to remedy any wrong. The sandwiches are big and we'll made. I love good sourdough bread and here they do it right. Wow I just checked out Spreadz second location oat 850 Charcot, went with the pastrami sandwich was not disappointed the fresh baked bread definitely makes the meal. Small shop hidden in a business park, if I didn't work nearby I would never have found it. Found myself in the area for work and decided to walk over here for lunch. I went at about noon on a Friday and it was surprisingly not crowded so there wasn't wait. I got a chipotle chicken sandwich on a Dutch crunch roll with chips and a water. The sandwich was pretty filling and tasted pretty good. I imagine all the other options are just as good. The only thing I didn't like is that they put dill pickles on the sandwich (good), but there were sweet pickles on the outside of the sandwich (bad). I wish I would have known the pickles outside the sandwich were sweet...I would have asked for all dill. The staff was really good. They successfully walk the line between being friendly and trying to force awkward conversation on you. These are good sandwiches. Not the best I've ever had but still really good. Meh. Service was friendly and reasonably efficient (they got the bread wrong on one of three sandwiches). Food was just average and was expensive for what it was. "Toasted" bread was the equivalent of putting a hair dryer on it for 10 seconds. It was vaguely warm but with no color change... I actually thought that they forgot to toast it so I inquired and was assured that it was toasted. While this did provide me with something to ponder while I ate, "Where is the line between toasted and untoasted?", I would still have preferred actual toasting. Spreadz is one of my favorite sandwich places in the South Bay Area, Top 2 for sure! The line may look long to the door but don't let that discourage you. It goes fast because the place is small, 100% worth the 5-8 minute wait. The sliced chipotle chicken breast and tritip (they make it themselves and only served certain days), is incredible. In-house made bread makes the real difference, these people really know sandwiches and put the time in to make everything in-house.
