He thoroughly dug up our (previously) flooded yard and installed French drains. He gave great advice on how to maintain them and came out immediately when we had a user-error issue (no charge to fix). He also helped us with creative additions to the yard like leveling it and adding gravel to help soak up other parts of the yard's damp areas. The flooding issue is completely gone! They also did an incredible job with replacing part of our fence. It even impressed our neighbors and they told us how incredible it looks now. I will absolutely reach out to him for any other yard issues we come across and will be recommending him to everyone I know.

Thank you Scott for making our dream come true I definitely recommend this company and will use then again for all my landscaping needs and maintenance. . Thank you Scott and Golden rule

We had him out for one lawn mowing and edging service so far and it went well. I am considering switching because of that.

The bid we received was lower than the other 3 companies we asked for estimates. The crew of 6 showed up at 7:00 am on the appointed day and immediately started working. The owner, Raul Ramos, answered our questions and was very professional and polite. They only stopped working once for a short lunch break. They worked until the entire job was completed which was around 7:00 pm. Our yard is completely transformed. Not only did they install the watering system and the lawn but they raked under our large Cedars and put fresh compost down in the flower beds. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them for anyone who needs landscaping done.

I wanted to share my experience with R&A Tree Service and Ryland Popke regarding an…read moreinsurance-related tree removal claim on my home. While the actual work they performed was done well, the business side of the experience was very disappointing and stressful. If you are planning to use this company for an insurance claim, make sure you fully understand the payment expectations upfront and have cash available before agreeing to any work. In my case, I never received a clear price before the work was completed. After the fact, I was presented with an invoice totaling over $12,000. I later had another company provide a quote for the same work, and their estimate was only $5,200 -- a huge difference. The most frustrating part has been the payment process with insurance. My insurance company sent payment directly to R&A Tree Service, but the amount was about $500 less than the invoice they submitted. Instead of working cooperatively through the insurance process, they immediately began discussing liens, interest charges, and additional pressure tactics while still requesting breakdowns and documentation from the insurance company. "I need this resolved immediately so we can avoid further escalation, additional costs, and continued lien enforcement proceedings." Again, the workmanship itself was good, but I strongly recommend getting 2-3 bids before signing anything and making sure pricing is agreed to in writing beforehand. If your project involves an insurance claim, proceed carefully and make sure you understand exactly how payment timing and billing disputes will be handled.
