He gets nothing done. He argues fights and continuously spikes up condominium fees. And again nothing gets done. The condominium townhouse that we live in looks like housing. It is just so rundown and it was built in 2010. It is absolutely unbelievable. We're in a situation right now where we're gonna get rid of the our property management and we will be seeking out a property management company that will work for the owners not to money.

Due to a snowstorm and faulty parking lot maintenance, my mother, who has mobility issues, slipped, and fell in the parking lot. This has been an ongoing issue for years. In our complex, there are a lot of seniors who this could have happened to. When I called Tino Dias to discuss the issue, instead of asking if she was okay; he immediately became defensive that we had called to complain... claiming that it "wasn't his job," that no one complained (not true), he didn't want to find a solution, and when I tested that he used abusive language towards me and then proceeded to call me a "loser." I laughed, and was shocked that someone who is working with the public, managing properties for people and places they call home could be so ignorant and greedy. I had no idea that bringing up a matter about something as vital as the safety of my mother, and other members of our community would bring out that much anger in someone. Yikes. The height of professionalism is at its finest. I am also in a career where I work with the public and other stakeholders. I hold two university degrees, and as a side hustle, I manage a rental myself. (such a loser!) I can't imagine one of my clients coming to me to discuss something like this and arguing with them and then proceeding to call them names. I would be fired. Childish; there's no excuse for this behaviour. This is just another person who should not be working with the public!

    I'm with optimal now , and have read most of the comments and I can agree with them , Nancy Bello…read moreand her husband Mark Crooker -Do absolutely nothing in the building because they are scared of the once in a blue moon cockroach , plus the super of my building is great friends with Nancy and Mark - the super of my building dated my mother and ever since they broke up I have been treated very poorly . The super refuses to fix anything in my apartment a d also refused my rent receipts and told me to call Nancy to get them as it's not his problem, I called 5x in one week and no answer or reply, the all of a sudden 5 days later the super knocked at y door with it after saying it wasn't his job . My new neighbor has even complaining saying I'm out at 6a tapping on her daughter's wall to wake them so there grumpy for for day so I took the liberty of buying a camera to prove I am not doing what these people say I am , the super has also breached my privacy by telling people I am an addict because I am on methadone and prescribed pain medication from a surgery gone wrong, there both prescribed for pain not addiction, the point is he is spreading gossip whice under the cleo guidelines is harassment. The super is constantly threatening me with N5 nose complaints when I am not home when the noises are being made, and henis saying I'm not allowed to have any guest over because of the way they look , my guest brought someone I didnt know and I said he had to wait outside because I didn't know him a d because of covid 19 , well apparently this guy tried breaking into the neighbor down the halls trunk so I'm being threatened over a guy I did t know and wouldn't let in with and N5 Eviction letter , it's wrong. Also I'm not allowed to watch my TV quietly but the super cab blare his music on a sound system with the bass shaking apartment, what the rules don't apply to him , plus the neighbors trunk that was supposedly broke into ( I saw no damage or anything, apparently there is burning looked and made a video) that guy blares his music all night sometimes and regularly all day but yet I'm the only one who is targeted for nothing, if I watch TV it's on a low of 15 which is silent as f**k . I'm a model tenant, I'm very quiet and mind my own business thisbis harassment, but I was told if I complained to the court that Nancy and Mark would have me reno-victed (a legal way to remove someone from a unit by saying there going to renovate when they usually don't and my apartment is fine , it was partially renovated before I moved in) none of the buzzers work in my building , besides the super, I was outside and he was watching me on camera at the door , I was talking to my aunt about what was going on in building and low and behold the super Carl H was listening to my whole conversation on the phone, that's a breach of privacy right there . Also I have had NO working smoke detector in my unit and have asked for a new one or battery to put in old one, I was told to buy it myself and the P.M will re impulse me , WRONG- I was told not to buyout myself as they tried that with another tenant and no refund was given back ! I have a cat if something were to happen and a fire broke out inwould be screwed because ibhave to wear earplugs to sleep because my neighbor who says I am knocking on her wall in hallway has music blaring or is screaming at her 5-7 years old children , and beating them( I have actual recordings , just like video footage that in a sleep whe it's a happening) the person who she thinks is tapping gbis the guy across the hall waiting to go to work with his work boots on pacing back and forth till work , I hear it too. What should I do , if incomolain I'm scared to be evicted but then agai this is giving me anxiety and making me cry cause I can't do anything, the super also told people I'm bi-polar , I don't have one mental health issue , my doctors can back that up in a heart beat , i have anxiety like anyone else . Please comment what I can do about this , also got a rent increase without the 90 days notice, only got 3 weeks notice but they covered there asses bu typing the date 90 days prior on increase form but really no one gave it to me till it was 3 weeks time to pay. I may have more but thisnis alot so I'll end here . Optimal is a bunch of crooks and will steal your money and not get anything done in the building. I DON'T RECOMMEND RENTING FRIN THIS COMPANY!!! PERIOD!!

    We used Optimal Property Management for about six months; they definitely overpromised and…read moreunderdelivered. Not only did they not find tenants for seven months, but they didn't screen the tenant. The tenant turned out to be delinquent and we lost thousands in lost rents and legal fees. I'd recommended that people stay away from Optimal Property Management.

    Complete Lack of Professionalism and Unacceptable Risk to Property Owners…read more I highly advise against using Found Spaces Inc. for property management. My experience with this company was a disaster that directly resulted in significant financial and legal exposure. Their incompetence and poor process led to a major amenity (central air conditioning) being falsely included in a tenant's lease, despite clear prior knowledge that the unit did not have this feature. This fundamental error alone is unacceptable for a professional property management firm. Worse yet, I was not informed of a tenant's ongoing complaints over two separate summer seasons. The first time I was notified of any issue was after the tenant had already filed a formal application with the Landlord Tenant Board (LTB), seeking a substantial rent abatement for the entire tenancy. The initial response from management included an admission of guilt and a clear statement that they agreed with my position. They also promised to absorb all costs associated with the eventual settlement. However, once they learned that I had sold the property and did not use their real estate services, their communication abruptly ceased. They became incredibly unresponsive and effectively abandoned their commitment, attempting to make it seem as though the issue was no longer their problem. This severe lack of communication and unauthorized actions--including offering solutions to the tenant without my knowledge or approval--forced me to incur legal expenses for a dispute that was entirely the fault of the management company. If you are a property owner, hire Found Spaces Inc. at your own risk. They are a liability that will misrepresent your property, conceal critical issues, and leave you to deal with the consequences of their costly mistakes in court. Avoid at all costs.

    I was approved for an apartment in Hamilton and when I got their confirmation email the last months…read morerent deposit was $2100 along with a $100 key deposit. I emailed them about the discrepancy and was told the "free months" are actually a discounted rate from $2100/month to $1750/month for the first year and then increased to $2100 in year two. Nowhere in their ad nor in my communication with them, which went on for over two weeks both online and in person, was I told about this. I found out about all of this the day they're trying to get me to send them a $2200 non-refundable deposit which I had 24 hours to respond to. There is no free months included and there is a $350 rent increase in year two which is illegal as the building was made before 2018 along with the $100 key deposit which is also illegal. Neither the representative who showed me the apartment, nor the contact at Found Spaces Inc. helped in any way. Essentially they said "It is what it is. Sign or find somewhere else". So if that's what you're looking for, shady dealings and hidden fees than this is the company for you. I could forgive a mistake thats made once, but for over two weeks I messaged their rep every other day, discussed the apartment and whats included, and none of this was mentioned until the day they wanted payment. That's not "miscommunications" as Found Spaces Inc. so eloquently said, but lies to hide hidden fees and shady business practices. On top of that, the service from Found Spaces Inc. was brutal. It took them 13 business days to go over the application. I've bought a house in less time. And when I brought up these issues to them they didn't care or try to work with me.
