However, the reason that I'm only giving this business a single star has nothing to do with their dental care, and everything to do with their business practices and their business office. In short, I had questions and concerns around some issues with billing. I tried -numerous times- to call and speak with the billing department and/or a manager. Over 6 times, at least. I would either get a recording where it instructed that I leave my name and number (which I did) for a callback, or I would speak with the receptionist who would inform me that the business office and/or a manager were unavailable but would get back to me. But they never did. Even though in later calls, I told the receptionist that my calls were not returned - and she promised they would be. I also gave them my email, on the small chance (not likely, many businesses have successfully called me) that the phone number was not working. I got my bills emailed to me, no issue - but no responses to my questions. It's unfortunate that I had this experience, as I said the dental staff were nice and fine. But I will not be returning, nor can I recommend the business to anyone due to the issues I had reaching them to discuss my bills (which were never resolved... in the end, I paid them, because I don't want a mark on my credit). Extremely unprofessional, in my opinion.

For years I have been afraid of any dentist visit stemming from trauma at an early age. While I was very nervous when I was told by Dr. F that I would be needing a root canal, I was put as ease by him and Assistant Gabriella. As soon as we started, I quickly learned I was in the hands of a perfectionist. Dr. F was overly accommodating to my personal (i.e., trauma) and medical needs (i.e., made sure I didn't have any pain), and was professional throughout the entire process. I left feeling whole again with a same-day crown. I Again, I highly recommend Dr. F and staff at Pinewood Dentistry for all of your dental needs!

I went in here with my boyfriend for his…read moretooth pain and cracked tooth and was seen by Dr. Chowdehey and we couldn't have received any worse of service. He poked around in my boyfriend's mouth very impatiently, and his bedside manner from the start was horrible and because of what he did, we ended up in the emergency room that day because he left him in excruciating pain, even worse than when he started. He about gave him 12 shots of Lidocaine and decided that he could not get him numb enough to do the procedure. And ended up walking out the room given our money back and saying get out of here. I get that you may be having a bad day but taking it out on your patient is just bad practice. We ended up having to go to Emory John's Creek that day because of what he did after the numbing wore off. It was a very bad day and was unnecessary that we had to even go to the hospital. Because they could not even help us anyway. But they were able to at least get him numb enough so we could survive through the weekend to get dental treatment from another facility that was able to help him. I do not recommend this place at all. What he did was just not write an unethical and we will be seeing what our options are in to get this handled by a lawyer. It's just sad when even the hospital Emery Johns Creek told us that what he did was wrong and we're shocked by his behavior. Stay away.

I never have to wait in the waiting area long upon checking in, and once I'm in the chair things move swiftly and comfortably. Typically I only see him about twice a year, and luckily haven't had to go in for any major dental work or procedures. All of the assistants and hygienists that I have had have all been lovely and very accommodating. I think I usually see Lindsay, but Bria is also great. I have unreasonably large tonsils, so anytime I go in for a dental cleaning it can be a bit difficult for me to breathe. I find I have to take a lot of quick breaks for a breath or swallow. They are always so kind and offer to go as slow as needed. I also really appreciate when a hygienist isn't heavy handed when scraping and cleaning my teeth prior to polishing. The office is clean, and front desk staff is helpful and diligent when making future appointments.
