Potato soup

Good thing I just followed everyone else to find the right parking lot. Vibe is the owner. $6 for the eveno. Lots of room at 6pm Thursday and lots of other guests parked here. Staff were super friendly and performers actually came to see how everyone was. Very personalized show that includes audience (people with birthday/celebrating). Show included rap, top 40 hits. Soup 10/10. 1 bread roll each Salad 9/10. Loved the apple and nuts in it. Chicken was dry, gravy was very fake tasting, gnocchi was not tasty. Friend got the salmon and was happy with this. Their potato side tasted amazing. Chocolate mousse: whip cream in it was Super grainy. Mousse itself was fine. Sticky toffee pudding 10/10 Overall very fun dinner and a show and very reasonably priced for entertainment and food.

My 2nd time here, 1st was Mother's Day Drag Queen brunch and last night was Great Gatsby. Four of my group of 6 had never been there before. We all enjoyed a very good meal with impeccable service and the entertainment was absolutely top notch. The singing, the dancing, the interaction/improv laughs/jokes with the audience was an absolute delight and we all left feeling very happy about our experience. Looking forward to returning.

Recently saw the Pretty Woman show here as well as Burlesque and this is a Rave Review. The cast for the play was so good! I was so impressed by this small ensemble! We spoke with the server about staying for the next show and paying for tickets, that we'd even stand for it, and she told us no, it was sold out and we'd have to leave. We decided to shoot our shot with the owner and not only did she accommodate, was incredibly gracious and charming, but she had two bar stools taken from back of house to squeeze us in at the bar. Without much adieu, you fabulous business connoisseur! I cannot say enough about this Owner/Operator, Aimee. Thank you so much for the best night I had in so long, as it had been a very tough year with personal strife and Covid for me personally. She couldn't have known any of that and was an amazing human and business operator anyway. If I could give this business ten stars, I would. Well done!

We went for the bourbon and burlesque night and had so much fun!! Entertainment was too notch, the vibe and energy of the venue is spectacular, the drinks were super tasty, I look forward to attending another bourbon and burlesque night and more shows in the future!

I booked a table for 25people and paid the fee thats on the website (if you guys look it quite expensive) and they didnt have the place prepared neither seats! Me and my friends were the ones that put the seats together... I recommend just to walk-in, do not book or pay those expensive fees its not worthy.

Okay so it's a small music venue for the most part but it has a great little bar and some good…read morespace for performers to set up merchandise tables. The chairs are pretty standard for a venue like this and the stage set up looks pretty versatile. I liked the fact that the restroom was for all genders. There was some great art on display and for purchase as well. While this neighborhood is not one I visit frequently, it is an easily transit accessible location and there was street parking available in the area (I understand this is pretty limited when there's an event going on at the Stadium however). The building looks well weathered but well used as a live music venue. Purchasing tickets in advance was easy and the associated website was good. I'd definitely go to another show here. There is good acoustics for the venue in general. Signage isn't great -- it would be better if the building had better identification.

From the outside it still looks like a house but it's a funky house, the window coverings are pretty iconic of The Aviary already! The cool thing is, now that it's finished I can really see how much work they have put into the place! The entrance way is more like a venue (and less like walking into a living room) it brings you round to the bar and where you pay cover etc, once properly inside the space has a nice bar the length of the room, a handful of tables and chairs, decent size stage at the back, local art displayed all round and awesome sound! The vibe is cosy, and there big emphasis on supporting local artists - I dig that. I like the beer listings on the wall - mostly craft beer and Phil knows a lot about them and recommended a really nice lager to me while I was there. I already love watching bands in this space and can't wait to go back.

I've been to two shows here over the years - one just before Covid and one more recently. I see…read moreother reviews talking about a $5.00 membership, but they must have gotten rid of that because I've never been asked to pay for a membership. The venue is old and full of character for sure, but it is not accessible at all if you have any kind of mobility issues. And it's a shame, because the management does seem to WANT to be inclusive, but they are terribly limited by the physical location. It's true that you walk down a dingy and dank outdoor hallway to get to the entrance, and then walk up a whole bunch of stairs to get to the ID checking station. Then you go in and get to the ticket scanning station. Maybe she was having a bad day, but the attitude from her was really off-putting. When you have a mobile ticket, apparently they can't scan the QR Code if you have your phone in dark-mode. I've never had that issue with any other venue accepting my mobile tickets, but maybe their scanner is different. Anyway, she was really annoyed with me for that. Once inside, there were 3 bars open and the bartenders were all super friendly. We went back to the same bartender each time and she always remembered our orders. As others have said, the washrooms are down a flight of stairs. If you choose to leave while there are still people lined up to get in, you will have to squeeze past them in that same dank alley/hallway thing you came in - There are no other exits (though I'm sure you could use the other doors in the event of an emergency). The slanted dance floor is not everyone's cup of tea, but I think it adds to the quirky character of the old building. I thought the sound quality from the performers were great for both shows I saw and the lighting was excellent as well.

Bar gets very crowded with spectators leaning against it. You are not allowed to exit at East doors by stage, so this means a lot of in and out traffic at the ticket gate. People just need to learn some manners. It's $10.00 to park in the nearby lot. Bathrooms are ok.

We went with the Buffalo Mac'n'Cheese, Poutine, Chkn Wings and ....oh my ... Deep Fried Oreos. We don't really have vegan Poutine options here in Seattle (if you know of any, please do drop a note in the comments section letting me know where) so it's always a treat going to Canada and comparing the various Poutine options as pretty much every vegan place has their own take. If you haven't been to visit yet, you owe it to yourself to try them out. If you find yourself visiting Edmonton, make a point to visit Whyte Avenue and walk up and down the strip checking out all of the store and most definitely, including The Buckingham in your visit.

I would've given it five stars -- however, there is a very strange concept they have enacted. Recently they opened up this most fabulous and incredible patio (where the old hotdog company was) ... but what is strange is all the drink prices are double the cost from the inside to the outside - so for example a pint can be as low as $3.75 just like black dog and other cool places on the Avenue but then when you go outside to the patio the exact same pint costs $7.75. Also they only take cash which is very strange especially during a pandemic, as everyone is doing touchless etc. no debit no Mastercard nothing literally pure cash only. But besides touchless factor, people are also on tight budgets so coming up with cash is more difficult then using credit - it is much easier spending wise. How do I know that the patio concept isn't going over as well? Because it's normally half empty -- yesterday was absolutely incredible day & evening and there's like four people on it. Hopefully, they'll correct this oversight before summer ends -- it will be the only way to pay for the exorbitant amount they likely spent making the patio.

It's pretty small and only holds about 130 people but it's popular so expect a line up. Check your coat, there is nowhere to keep your jackets if you want to take them off.
