I sent pics, they agreed to pay my the 297.00 for parts and repair on December 11th of 2025. after many calls and being told I would have a supervisor call me back, nobody ever did. I finally talked to a gal named Claire and she looked into this money several times saying the check was written, but not signed. They are waiting for someone to sign the check. Mind you the email I got on December 11th assured me it would be taken care of right away. Yes , I save all email. Last week I was told the check went in the mail Monday. Fort Myers to Sarasota is 1.5 hours away. 7 days later I still haven't received the check, nobody calling me back. Now I believe Claire is trying, she seems to be doing what she can do, however goes above her, the boss named Ed doesn't respond to anything. Useless. The pipes they plumbed are crooked in my yard and look like a 8 year old installed them. Between the lack of integrity , lack of communication and the shoddy work this company is terrible. By the way, I still have not received the money they promised me for my yard destruction and it's January 19th 2026. I would never recommend these sheisters to anyone. Costco you need to stop promoting them. Andy

At our initial visit, Nick and his assistant showed up and walked us through everything. They were knowledgeable, professional, and we knew then we had made the right choice. There was also no pressure! The office staff kept us updated on the generator's arrival date and accommodated us immediately for the install date and time. It was great to see Nick and an assistant return for the install, and everything went seamlessly! We have now found our new Electricians! If, like me, electrical work seems daunting, please don't hesitate to call Sergeants Electric; they truly are a company you can rely on at a reasonable price, to top it off!

Techs have been very courteous, and respectful of our property while doing good work and they show up when promised! They mounted an outside receptacle to plug in our emergency power generator and installed a circuit transfer switch in our electric panel to prevent our generator power from feeding back into the power company lines. We recently had them quote a whole house standby generator and they were honest with their recommendations, and the price was comparable to what had been quoted by a local big box store. However, because we don't have natural gas service in our area, we needed to go with a large propane gas storge tank, which our HOA restrictions required to be underground, making the whole project considerably more expensive than we could justify. We like the fact that their techs and salespeople do not work on commission, nor do they try to upsell like so many area "Do it all" service companies that offer, electrical, air-conditioning & plumbing services. Sergeants does only one thing and they do it very well.

We had initially called a plumbing company recommended by neighbors because we couldn't figure out why water pressure in our kitchen sink was poor. That company was going to replace our faucet for $700+. But Niegel fixed it in 10 minutes for essentially free since he was here to do the water heater. The problem would not have been fixed with a new faucet! Niegel is a pleasant, smart, experienced and very knowledgeable young man. The other company's technician had a script he followed blindly that pushed all kinds of other repairs and services. Custom Air & Plumbing has been responsive and less expensive for us and a neighbor for years. We will call only them in the future and we recommend them highly.

Now when I call, I get a different dispatcher almost every time, and different technicians that show up. I have been trying for two days to escalate and get some customer service, but I can't get a supervisor or a manager on the phone, most of the dispatchers don't even know the name of the manager, and they don't call back. Last night they were a no-show for our appointment. Calls, emails - nothing works. It feels like they have turned it into a lead farm for independent contractor HVAC technicians.

A whole house, liquid cooled (think truck motor) automatic generator is the answer! We thankfully already have an in-ground 500gal propane tank, which limited the total cost of an already expensive project. Everyone, including our friends who'd already traveled this path, recommended Kohler over Generac. And yes, they're a bit more expensive, but more reliable and super quiet despite the size. . 30kw, Kohler RCLA30, would provide the least load shedding. Cane with an extended 10yr warranty and a $750 mfg cash rebate. We interviewed three generator suppliers, including the one Kohler referred. The last visit, from founder Eric Beasley was both the most thorough and informative of the bunch. The process is long and complex. Figure three months. Permits, three county inspectors, FPL meter service, HOA approval...that's just the administrative stuff. Concrete pad installation. Then electrical rewiring and installation of transfer switch, gas hookup and all the trenching to accommodate the new unit. FPS handled it all. A clear written process, with specific dates, conscientious work and a thorough start-up shakedown. Excellent all around! We're ready now!
