This is the first bad review I have ever written. I was pretty desperate for help. I went to see Carmen and I paid $95 for a breathing test that measures "your at rest calorie count". she told me to increase my calorie count to almost double what I was doing, and she told me I would loose weight without any additional work. This was based on the breathing test. Maybe I have a crazy body or something but all that happened is I picked up weight. I don't even know how I thought this would be right because after more research - mathematically if my calorie intake is maintaining weight, doubling it is probably only going to add weight right? Im no fitness guru at all - so I could be totally wrong. I reached out to her a few months later in tears, after my failed attempt to loose the weight I had gained from doubling my calorie count. She basically made me wrong asking why I took so long to tell her. And in an irritated way, told me that she is not going to talk to me unless i call her. What???? The point of the review, is I felt like her info was incorrect. I had acted on her recommendation whole heartedly only to end up in tears with an even bigger problem that I have to confront and try a different route to solve. And no actual attempt to help an upset client. I would not have left this review if she had been a little friendlier in her attempt to help me. read more
