Instructors are one hundred percent on their game and know how/when to push. Very flexible…read morestructure, large areas to work in/around. Attention to form and emphasis on technique is uncompromising. At the same time, they are always pushing athletes to their limits if they are willing to go there. A good, comprehensive Crossfit location.

I liked this location okay, but in the end it wasn't for me. Here are some pros and cons so that…read moreyou can decide if its right for you: Pros (1) if you're a crossfit beginner, like I am, they have a really comprehensive 2week (actually its only 8 days total, 4 classes a week, if memory serves me correctly) 'on ramp' training program to show you all the moves. The other locations I've been to wasn't that thorough. They keep these training classes strictly limited to a very small group which is nice so it's easier to get one on one attention. (2) Huge facility. They have a very large open layout with lots of different equipment. Lots of room to spread out. (3) lots of qualified and friendly instructors. All the the trainers make a great effort to keep an eye on everyone to make sure they are doing the moves right. I've been to other crossfit locations where the 'instructor' was on his computer the entire time, so I really appreciated the attention here. And even though the class size was large (20+) they tried Tito learn my name. This place definitely has the nicest staff which is why I bumped the rating to 4. (4) the workouts were varied and structured. I like the variety of gymnastics, cardio and weight training we did. They were also very structured unlike other crossfit locations I've tried. They start and end promptly. (5) large group classes. I put this last because this is not really anything they have control over but they do a darn good job of organizing the masses by making you sign up in advance for what class time you are going to take (don't worry, you can change it even at the last minute by sending them a text) so that they can have a decent number of instructors present. I also liked that there were a lot of people in the class because I'm new to the Tampa Bay/ Clearwater area and I wanted to meet some other professionals but I will tell you a lot of the girls here were not friendly. Cons (1) the training really could be condensed to focus only in the weightlifting. Every time I was done with these training sessions I had to go for a run to get a real workout. So I feel like those two weeks were a little wasted. (2) the have a big facility but due to the large class sizes they will run out of equipment so you have to share bars. WTH!?! I'm not paying top dollar for a place to not have enough equipment. There were multiple workouts were I would idle waiting for the other person to complete their set to have my turn. Not acceptable. What is my $150 going towards? (3) they have great trainers but because the classes are do large they really don't have the capacity to give you more attention if you need it. I've never lifted weights before; I don't know my one rep max. That should have been done during the 2wks training, IMHO. I feel with weights I'm never at the weight - it's either too light or too heavy - and I was hoping a crossfit would help with that but they didn't, hence the one-star deduction. (4) the workouts were more focused on cardio than weight training and they were 'easier' than other crossfit workouts at other locations. If you want to lose weight this is good, but I don't need to lose weight - I need to build muscle and the classes were just not centered around weights enough for my needs. (5) large group classes is a double edged sword. Great to try to meet people but annoying when there is not enough equipment to go round and you have to pair up like a 5th grade PE class.

The location is in a retail strip and has frontage to ulmerton road which makes it super visible. The studio is a lot larger than most of the ones I've been to in Virginia and really nice. They renovated during the Covid shutdown and it shows. The staff are all extremely friendly and they are doing a great job with protocols. The owners Malia and Kurt are awesome and go above and beyond to make all visitors feel welcome. The coaches are all top notch and the classes are some of my favorite I've taken at OTF. Highly recommend the largo OTF location and I look forward to visiting them whenever I am in town to see my parents!

And it appears the Owners of the OTF Largo are to ensure it's Maintinance and upkeep/replacement. Feeling sweaty... it was too bad the humidity in the studio made me want to leave before I was done the 90 minute class. I managed to stay but could not give my all. I hope the HVAC is REPLACED BEFORE THE SUMMER!!! This is crazy to have the whole class dying of the humidity. Please address thanks!! I'm not alone in how I'm feeling.

I went to this F45 for their Halfrox! It was one of the most fun fitness challenges I've ever done…read more I was blown away how well done and professionally set up. There were coaches everywhere and it was well organized. Highly highly recommend as a facility to train for Hyrox.

Joining F45 was the best thing I've ever done. Believe me, I was scared to death and asked Justin,…read morethe membership manager, a million questions and even went to see the gym before I joined. I went in with the mentality that I would just go ask questions and maybe join later on. He made me confident that even though I was incredibly out of shape that I could do the workouts. I walked out a foundation member and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I started off a few weeks ago, scared that I wouldn't make it through the workout. I did Hollywood which is the Saturday workout first. It is a 60 minute intense workout. Yes, I was sore, but I was so proud of myself making it through the workout that I didn't care. As I kept going, the pain or soreness that I experienced from working out has subsided and I can feel myself getting stronger. I used to just go to the gym and do a quick workout and leave. I tried to follow workout plans and would just get bored or give up. With the help of the trainers, I'm going things I would have never expected that I could do. The gym is small, it's meant for a class at a time and is set up depending on the workout. You'd be surprised how much can be packed into the gym in a class. Each workout is different and geared towards a theme. I suggest just going to a class before you judge it based on the name of it. A great example of this would be Foxtrot. It is military based and that worried me that I couldn't complete it. In fact, originally that was the only class I didn't book. As I said, I was out of shape and didn't think I would make it through but I did. There are modifications for various exercises and levels of training. You also can use a Lionheart heart rate monitor that connects to the screens in the back of the classes and tells you the percentage of your maximum heart rate you are using. You get a report at the end of the class that shows your points during the class that you achieved based on your heart rate and calories burned. It also shows a trend line for your workout. This is so helpful and makes me push a little harder when I know I have dropped my heart rate some. The staff is great. Nathan and his wife are super sweet and really seem to care about you as an individual. Justin is encouraging and always there to give you a high five. Chase and Kaitlyn have helped me to bring my fitness level to a level that I now feel more confident doing the exercises. I wouldn't push myself without them. Hannah is also very nice. I haven't been to her class yet but she was present in one of the Hollywood sessions I attended and was helpful. The members are encouraging and it already feels like family. My suggestion, give it a shot. You might just surprise yourself like I did!

Book your class online and check-in on the ipad upon entry, put your personal items in a cubby, grab a reformer and props if they aren't already set up for you. Very simple! There are many classes to choose from so it can fit into anyone's schedule. Before moving i went to a small Pilates boutique where i got a lot of attention from the instructors. I was worried that would be an issue coming to a bigger studio. It was not!! The instructors make sure to provide feedback and make corrections. My schedule allows for the 6 or 7 am classes so that's when i typically go. For the free class i did a beginner class and the instructor quickly recommended i move to intermediate and ive got to say I'm loving it! The challenge in intermediate is why i get up on Tuesdays to see Kate and get my weak core in shape. In addition the place is simply beautiful. The reformers come with straps so no need to bring your own. Grippy socks and water bottles are sold in house if you forget to bring them. I also want to add I didn't feel like a beginner in the intermediate class because the instructors do very well at making the practice accessible to the range of skill levels with progression and alternative techniques for a movement. Thanks Pilates Haus!
