Love this local old school no frills gym here! We wanted to work out on vacation and this spot made…read moreour workout consistency happen. Easy to follow directions on the website to pay for the day passes and obtain your code. The gym is very very clean and organized. They have everything you need from :resistance bands, Mats, weights ranging for all pounds, machines and a nice touch of the vibra wave to warm up or cool down your body. Music was great it was an 80s playlist. They offer TVs on the treadmills with individual remotes and channel guide. Only 1 bathroom, co-Ed. No drinking fountain for now so make sure you bring your own water and towel! It's affordable, clean, inspiring quotes and photos on the wall. And offers natural light so you don't feel trapped in a dungeon. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking to focus on your workout, get in and out with no issues. Everyone minds their businesses too here, it's private and awesome

I travelled all over coast to coast not once have I ever been informed that, I proceeded to contact source sneaker to understand the rules for the membership, I was told u r allowed to use it at the lactation on silver sneaker website After I spoke to silver sneaker, the owner called me and said we have a misunderstanding I am try to understand the misunderstanding when I say I have slilver sneaker and he says he only except for local residence, I must pay $10 if I'd like to use the gym for the day Why was there a misunderstanding after Io contacted silver sneaker and informed them that they're not using their services correctly Then he txt asking to go back!!!!! I would not suggest the gym he was rude about the membership and not allowed there Was not an impressive gym one person you're working out only why would you turn down getting money when nobody's in your gym?

This LA Fitness in Clearwater FL on Gulf to Bay just west of Belcher is a lot like the other one we…read morewent to nearby in Largo a few days earlier. (Jan 2026). This is a huge clean facility with nice staff, clean locker rooms, lots to do, and plenty of parking. We're just ordinary people, and we felt welcome. Countless machines! Benches. Weights. "Functional training" tires. A basketball court. A room for Classes. Trainers. We came for the three lane lap-pool and the hot-tub. We came mid-afternoon on a weekday. Several others were using the luxuriously hot hot-tub, too, and four of us had a pool lane to ourselves. A few other folks used the other swim lanes occasionally. We noticed showers and drinking fountains in the pool area. They had a steam sauna in the locker-room area, too, but we didnt use it this time. We'd say either of these LA Fitness clubs were good. Just check out the difference in the sports they support.

There is such a demand past 10pm that the staff have to individually kick out 10+ people every night. The amenities are pretty stale, and the flooring/benches of the women's sauna are just sorta gross. There are other sections of flooring and lining around the gym that are pealing or in disarray. The gym has generally not been taking great care of, or at least to the expectation of a "nice" gym that you are paying good money for. I canceled my subscription now that the hours do not work for me. The planet fitness down the road has better amenities and seems to be cleaned and cared for better regardless. PLUS it is literally more than half the price.

I've been an athlete my entire life yet I have never felt so in tuned with my body as I have being…read morehere at CMR. I started out with the 6 week challenge and I was a little nervous since I stopped being active for a few years and really gained a lot of weight. I've always played sports and done HIIT training but nothing compared to CF. I came in with an open mind and really took it all in. Sebastian and Tommy really took their time teaching us the foundations of CF throughout the 6 weeks and starting off our workouts with a PVC pipe. They make sure that you understand the movements fully before you move onto weights. I've finished my 6 weeks and have been in regular classes for a little over a month. This box is truly a family. Everyone welcomes you with open arms and genuinely cares about you. All the coaches are super knowledgeable and really take their time studying your movements and making corrections if needed or adjusting the workout to your needs. My favorite thing about this box is that they focus on fundamentals and teach all athletes to listen to their bodies. It's not about who can finish the WOD first or lift the most weight. Everyone is humble and there are all walks of life that come thru the doors. I'm getting stronger everyday with the help of the coaches teaching and pushing me and with the encouragement from the fellow athletes. I really never thought I would find a gym that I truly love going to and look forward to seeing everyone's smiling face. I found my second home for sure

The workouts are HARD but you leave feeling amazing, plus they're super fun! The space is very clean and I love being able to track our progress on their computer! The best part about CF manta ray is the community! I have made so many amazing friends who are so motivating and encouraging. I am SO happy to workout everyday at this box. I definitely recommend Crossfit Manta Ray for newbies or seasoned cross fitters alike!

Attention to form and emphasis on technique is uncompromising. At the same time, they are always pushing athletes to their limits if they are willing to go there. A good, comprehensive Crossfit location.

I liked this location okay, but in the end it wasn't for me. Here are some pros and cons so that…read moreyou can decide if its right for you: Pros (1) if you're a crossfit beginner, like I am, they have a really comprehensive 2week (actually its only 8 days total, 4 classes a week, if memory serves me correctly) 'on ramp' training program to show you all the moves. The other locations I've been to wasn't that thorough. They keep these training classes strictly limited to a very small group which is nice so it's easier to get one on one attention. (2) Huge facility. They have a very large open layout with lots of different equipment. Lots of room to spread out. (3) lots of qualified and friendly instructors. All the the trainers make a great effort to keep an eye on everyone to make sure they are doing the moves right. I've been to other crossfit locations where the 'instructor' was on his computer the entire time, so I really appreciated the attention here. And even though the class size was large (20+) they tried Tito learn my name. This place definitely has the nicest staff which is why I bumped the rating to 4. (4) the workouts were varied and structured. I like the variety of gymnastics, cardio and weight training we did. They were also very structured unlike other crossfit locations I've tried. They start and end promptly. (5) large group classes. I put this last because this is not really anything they have control over but they do a darn good job of organizing the masses by making you sign up in advance for what class time you are going to take (don't worry, you can change it even at the last minute by sending them a text) so that they can have a decent number of instructors present. I also liked that there were a lot of people in the class because I'm new to the Tampa Bay/ Clearwater area and I wanted to meet some other professionals but I will tell you a lot of the girls here were not friendly. Cons (1) the training really could be condensed to focus only in the weightlifting. Every time I was done with these training sessions I had to go for a run to get a real workout. So I feel like those two weeks were a little wasted. (2) the have a big facility but due to the large class sizes they will run out of equipment so you have to share bars. WTH!?! I'm not paying top dollar for a place to not have enough equipment. There were multiple workouts were I would idle waiting for the other person to complete their set to have my turn. Not acceptable. What is my $150 going towards? (3) they have great trainers but because the classes are do large they really don't have the capacity to give you more attention if you need it. I've never lifted weights before; I don't know my one rep max. That should have been done during the 2wks training, IMHO. I feel with weights I'm never at the weight - it's either too light or too heavy - and I was hoping a crossfit would help with that but they didn't, hence the one-star deduction. (4) the workouts were more focused on cardio than weight training and they were 'easier' than other crossfit workouts at other locations. If you want to lose weight this is good, but I don't need to lose weight - I need to build muscle and the classes were just not centered around weights enough for my needs. (5) large group classes is a double edged sword. Great to try to meet people but annoying when there is not enough equipment to go round and you have to pair up like a 5th grade PE class.
