I go for my "Blondification", Cuts, highlights, trims etc. What I love about Meredith is that she does what I Want and not what she wants. She gives me her honest opinion on whether or not I need a full hair cut or if I can get away with just my bangs trimmed and roots done. Also she recommends when I need highlights or not. So it's NOT just about the money ! I NEVER come out of there unhappy or with Golden Hair (I want Blonde with lots of different colors for dimension and not Brassy. I have never been brassy) I will follow her until she stops cutting hair lol. The salon itself is small but well appointed. Everyone there is super nice. The person before her at Zona f...ed it up. Zona was so bad the owner tried to fix it, didn't have time and I had to go back to the Norwell location and the other owner, Frank cut and colored my hair and it looked like crap. They wouldn't let me pay for it. That should tell you the job they did on it. Anyways...back to this salon. Easy to make an appointment, stopped in on Thursday, they could have taken me Friday, I couldn't do, so appointment on Saturday. I was assigned a stylist since this was my first time. I got Robin. Robin was nice. First a short consult. She washed my hair. To the chair. Robin didn't talk much, which was fine with me, I actually prefer it. I had to take my glasses off during the cut and couldn't see a thing. Made the reveal that much more exciting. Cut, cut, chop, chop, sprayed a little product and the 15-20 minute blow dry commenced. I have very thick hair, an arm workout for sure! She was finally done. Robin handed me my glasses. I put them on, looked up into the mirror and.... hallelujah, the cut I had been wanting and asked for. Four stylists later, had asked for the same cut each time, Robin was the only one to deliver. Another woman was getting her hair cut same time as me and her hair looked amazing. I don't know the name of her stylist though. Salon was clean, a little dated but who cares, they can cut hair! Plenty of parking. $40 for a cut, blow dry and most importantly a hair style that you ask for. Never mind it's just $40! In a nutshell, if your looking for a new salon, you don't have to be scared to try this salon.
