I have been following my hairdresser/friend Meredith for years and she has recently (past 6?…read moreMonths) moved to Cutting Image Salon in Whitman. I go for my "Blondification", Cuts, highlights, trims etc. What I love about Meredith is that she does what I Want and not what she wants. She gives me her honest opinion on whether or not I need a full hair cut or if I can get away with just my bangs trimmed and roots done. Also she recommends when I need highlights or not. So it's NOT just about the money ! I NEVER come out of there unhappy or with Golden Hair (I want Blonde with lots of different colors for dimension and not Brassy. I have never been brassy) I will follow her until she stops cutting hair lol. The salon itself is small but well appointed. Everyone there is super nice. All I asked for was a few inches off and a bang trim. the lady I went to didn't even fully brush my hair out or wet it fully before chopping a few inches off. My bangs look horrible and I can't even fix them she cut them too short. oh but wait she only cut half my bangs short and because she didn't fully wet or brush my hair she forgot random pieces of my bangs and left those long. I used to be a hair-extensions enthusiast. For years, I would try different techniques and…read morestylists in Boston and surrounding areas. At one point, I was driving an hour plus away from the city, looking for a salon with the right balance between expertise, quality and fairness, until I found Jesamondo and Whitney. Whitney is simply the most talented and detailed-oriented hair-extensions artist I've ever worked with, and God knows I've worked with many, including name salons in the city that often times where overpriced and overbooked. Whitney's funneled passion for hair extensions and the different types and techniques has taken her focus and ongoing training to installing beautiful extensions that have your natural hair in mind. And, while I also miss her haircuts so much--and our deep conversations--since I moved out of state, I miss my long, full layers when Whitney was in charged. Needless to say, I am on a long break from hair extensions because she's too far away, but that's a different story. Point is, she's set the bar high, and it won't be easy to find someone that checks all these boxes. If you're looking for a hair extensions specialist, and want to work with a genuinely fair and thoroughly trained stylist; someone who knows exactly what they're doing and what the best approach for your own needs is, swing by Jesamondo and book a consultation with Whitney. My best guess is you won't be disappointed and you too will be rocking long and beautiful locks that will be installed with precision, comfort and future growth in mind.
