Our three year old went in for his FIRST ever haircut, and this place butchered his hair. Bless the gal who tried, but my goodness you are in the wrong line of work. I would be shocked if she has actually been to school to cut hair. It is uneven, not layered, we asked for a Fauxhawk type haircut and this is what we got. What should have been a good experience two days before school starts has turned into a scream fest and a scramble to find someone to un-F his hair. My wife is mortified. Unbelievable. Never again. Don't go here. Run the other way. As fast as you can. Again, as we add context; The apprentice never told us she was an apprentice. You had two people intermittently working on his hair. She kept asking if we were happy with it so we were involved because she asked us to be. With regard to how she was spoken to: The older woman asked if we were happy, I said "Not particularly but it is what it is". I don't know how that is rude. I'm not going to lie to her. I walked to the counter to pay. She said there was no charge. I then again insisted to pay. It is most certainly not about the money. If you stand by this as a good haircut, I stand by my review. Clearly you don't want to own that this person just might not be a good fit.

The Fade Factory fit the bill and was a surprisingly satisfying experience without breaking the bank. My hair and beard cut was performed by the owner so I was in great hands. However, upon observing the others cutting hair as well they all had focus and determination in the work they were doing. Truly a place of focus and passion for hair. In addition to the hot towel treatment, nice TVs, mirrors, lighting, and vibes, I was impressed with the little waiting area for kids or whom ever to enjoy while waiting. They had a PS4 which was a nice modern touch seldom seen. We made an appointment over the phone which was easy and breezy. Only critique would be the clean up after the cut. Perhaps because it was closing time, or the sheer difficulty to accomplish this, but there were quite a few of stray hair left on my face and neck after the cut which would have meant a for sure shower or rinse needed to happen if you needed to go to an event later that day. (Not a crazy amount, but enough to notice and feel) Overall, I'd gladly go back to this place and am so happy to have found it. A hidden gem in Huntsville.

I am a long time (6 years or more) client of Roosters at Providence. But no more. The service has…read morenoticeably degraded, especially in the last couple of years. Here are some examples. The receptionists are less professional. Rushed. No eye contact. There is no longer an offer of drinks of any kind while you wait. The music is no longer classic rock or even contemporary rock. It's mostly a combination of loud pop and hip hop. Since the clientele is noticeably 45+ or older this is not appealing. The quality of the stylists is also much reduced. I've tried several of them and the results vary widely. But none are as good as a few years ago. I used to see the owner in the shop, who served to be on top of things. No more. Maybe they've sold the business? The experience is not very good, overall, and definitely not worth the premium cost.
