We were in town for the Cher Concert and staying at Margaritaville Hotel. Planned on driving…read moreourselves to concert but hotel valet gave us Clints card. We called him and made appointment to be picked up at 8pm. Due to difficulties at hotel we were not able to get to pick up point on time and missed shuttle. I called Clint who tried to get shuttle turned around but instead he came out with another vehicle and took us to concert. After concert we were picked up quickly and able to avoid all the traffic. Looking at all the red tail lights in the parking lot we were so glad Twin City Express Shuttle Service was referred to us. Clean and new model vehicle with courteous staff. Will certainly use again.

The heat will be with you! Welcome to TX!…read more This is a great stop after traveling through Louisiana! The bathrooms were clean. There were shared areas to sit down and an open field to kick around a ball. My favorite part was inside. I love how the travel brochures were broken down by the regions in TX. I found so many cool places that I would love to check out. There were coupons attached to some brochures for the different activities. This is the perfect stop if you have a vacation or getaway planned . I was able to comfortably walk around without smelling anything weird. The outside and inside were both clean. Hopefully I can review some of these places in the near future .

Beautiful location for tent camping. It would have been perfect except for some noisy neighbors who…read moreparked their car where I was supposed to pitch my tent. Otherwise I'd give it a 5 star review. You need to walk a bit to set up camp but not too far.

This is coming from someone who has had camping experience for many years all over the country…read more Have also been camping here several years in spite of the following flaws; most importantly is the very dirty condition of the nearly new bathhouse. Floors and showers have not been cleaned in weeks and there is probably half an inch of dead bugs on the outside patio. Your feet crunch all the way in. Plus the outside doors do not lock and the bathroom and shower stall doors can't be locked either. Also, eliminating some of the signs at the entrance would afford a more welcoming atmosphere for campers. It's like a slap in the face when you drive in! Great fishing, lots of room, trails, beach, boat launches but hardly anyone here . This place could be a great campground and a really moneymaker if someone with experience would pay attention to some of these details and make some pretty simple changes.

Red, who will tell you how great he is, is far from it. Not to mention he has his own tip jar set up by the comment book. The owner then sent me, what I can only describe as a form letter apology. Avoid like the plague!

Weird access but secure. 3 nice log cabins for rent. Owner, Danny is personable and friendly. Roads are gravel and in fair condition-- a few small potholes. RV spaces are very nice long concrete slabs with well placed utility clusters. 1 acre pond on site. Wide open, easy to maneuver because there are few trees. Also, several covered spaces are available. Laundry available. Very nice and new concrete picnic tables. I would go again for sure. One problem-- my 50 amp power seemed to have a problem. My surge protector detected an unspecific fault. After discussing with Danny I decided to try 30 amp. Power worked fine on 30 amp for two days. Manager offered me other spaces but because weather was mild I decided to just go with 30 amo. Manager couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Needs a little more polish (development) for 5 stars but some might give it 4. Like I said, I would go again. Better than many I have been to.

Positives: Small, quite park (The RV park is only five spots). Owners are great people! Negatives: Laundry room is small, nice but small, and to get access you have to have a key. Doesn't sound like a big deal but you have to get the key from the owners and if you want to do that you have to do it during business hours. So you can't do laundry whenever you want. There are no showers or bathrooms. Not the end of the world but when you have a family it's a bit of an inconvenience. The RV park is right next to the only gas station and restaurant in the town. So during business hours you constantly see and hear people/vehicles. This RV park is not great but if I had to come back to this area again I would definitely stay here. This has nothing to do with the RV park but the restaurant...Please hire more workers! Friends stayed in one of the trailer hookups nearby, all very walkable. Less than 10min from the state park and scenic in its own right, I have no qualms recommending this spot.
