Sportime Lynbrook is an okay place. Do not send your kid here if they play basketball. I have the family pass and the basketball courts are only open rather late at night or early in the morning. They must get another court because no way I have to pay well over $200 a month to barely be able to go basketball court if your son or daughter plays basketball I would not recommend sportime until they get another court. It's not fair that people youse the basketball court for everything else besides basketball. read more

Sportime Lynbrook is not ADA compliant or did not care about my impairment. I have been attending this facility for several weeks an there was a folded chair present that I sat in off in the corner of room to watch my son play. Last week was different. I went to watch my 5 year old son play soccer and the usual chair was not present. I went to front desk to request a chair. I am 8 months pregnant, can not sit on a hard floor and they refused me the courtesy of using their folding chair while my son was attending soccer. I asked several times and I was refused. I was told that they could not let me use the chair even though several of them were unoccupied. I'm visibly pregnant and expressed that to them but they did not care. read more

I have been a member for some time now. I just wanted to say that for 60$ the price is not bad for the gym. It is never crowded. I get a good workout in. Only thing i would say to improve on, is to bring a guest with you! Other than that. Sportime Is Awesome !! Also... a big big big shoutout to NICK. He makes sure the gym is clean and organized. 5 beautiful indoor hard courts (US OPEN style), nice pro shop, a quiet area for adults with high tops for those looking to do work, as well as couches for those looking to lounge. They have a fitness center (which my mom loves to take advantage of while my brother has his lessons), an elevated seating area above the courts so we can hear & see all the action without interrupting the lesson. Great lighting which a lot of places lacked when I was playing 10 years back. Nice facility overall. Unfortunately they are usually always booked so last minute lessons aren't realistic. read more

My friends and I have been going to Sportime for the past 7 years to workout in the gym, play basketball on the court and soccer on the turf field. The gym is filled with new workout equipment and includes everything you would want or need. The customer service displayed by the staff makes Sportime feel like home and is one of the main reasons I have and will continue to chose Sportime Lynbrook. read more

Thank you for responding. Okay, *Sportstime will randomly and arbitrarily increase your membership fees at there will with a written notice. I have never gotten this notice but even with benefit of the doubt that they send them it still sucks that they do this. The issue isn't that there are kids working the front desk, it is that they are left with the manager responsibilities when there is none present, which in my experiences has been an overwhelming amount of the time. Maybe the employees are unaware of how often you are around because the best time to find a manager is always "tomorrow". If I'm understanding correctly, because sportstime strives for inclusivity, I'm incorrect in my assertion that I dealt with racism from the older Spanish lady that works at the front desk. That is beyond ignorant and completely ignores my experiences. I'm telling you one of your employees has not been doing what Sportstime strives for, so unless you have been there for every interaction I've had with her you wouldn't know, and obviously you haven't, and I find it quite insulting that you would tell me I'm wrong based when you haven't the slightest clue how that woman has treated me or other colored people. I'm not the only 1 star review, actually the majority of the reviews are 1 star so it seems like everyone gets the sportstime vibe as well. Cheap, does not give a damn about customer satisfaction or care, and allows racism under the umbrella of striving to be better. I am not a member of Sportime (too far) but I would Love to Be! I attended Danielle's Boot Camp fitness class and HOLY MUSCLES it was the one of, if not thee hardest classes I have ever attended. I made it through but just barely! This class was 1.5 hours (she goes overtime) of a cross between Soccer and Football training. You are on your toes the entire time doing circuit, suicide runs, drills. These are followed (rest? There is no time for resting!) by 20 pushups, 25 crunches and then squats. I cant remember all we did in the class but Its pretty much everything youve ever learned in a fitness class - put into one. The most fun and challenging was the football sled (always wanted to push one!) and the HEAVY tire you had to keep flipping. AH, this class is AWESOME!!! and best of all, it's FREE with membership! I cant express enough how everyone should try this class. Go! You won't regret it - PLUS you'll probably be fitter than ever! Monday Nights at 7:30pm! Ah yes, and the rest of the gym has all the normal weights, machines, cardio machines. It has a mirrored room for all classes, including spin. Basketball courts, tennis courts, turf room (where boot camp is held), it's got it all! Even Childcare and complimentary coffee/tea! Great Gym! read more

I go to the gym here since it is the only gym that is walking distance to me when I am home from school. I only go in the mornings because it gets annoying when it is crowded. I like using the Ab equipment but there are kids ALWAYS socializing on the equipment and the staff is too rude and unexperienced to do anything about it. I hate the fact that I cannot use my favorite machines sometimes because kids sit and socialize for at least 30 minutes on them. I also witnessed a heated argument between people, but the staff did not do anything. If the staff were less rude and would care about the clients that would make me give more stars but unfortunately, the staff at my schools gym are better than Sportime. read more

The gym is ok, enough weights and cardio equipment for the time I usually go, but the equipment is limited compared to some larger gyms. However, it's kind of lawless in there. No one ever wipes down equipment (including the staff and trainers who are training members), weights are left on the equipment and on the floor. Members talk out loud on their phones and never, ever does the staff ever attempt to correct bad behavior. Add to that the Internet connection is the absolute worst. If you listen to music while working out and need wifi connection, good luck. It drops constantly. The good part is the gym is not a meat market nor full of meat head steroid freaks. You can go there work out and go home without being bothered. When I weigh the pros and cons, sport time falls right in the middle, a three of five. read more

I love the league I'm in but the club is outrageously expensive and the management and most of the front desk people are rude. They improperly charge your credit card and despite applying to freeze membership over the summer they continue to charge the card. It's not worth it especially given there are many other options. read more

Amazing gym. Top of the line everything. I was a member but because my parents are no longer paying for my membership, I had to switch to a less expensive gym. I wish I could've stayed here cause they are perfect. They have tennis courts, basketball court, fitness center with all up to date equipment. I was with them for 2 years. Once I start making more money, I will make the switch asap cause you could never go wrong by picking this gym. read more

Nice facilities but ridiculously expensive, poorly organized and don't even try reserving time for a tennis court unless u do months in advance since they are always booked solid.
