I am a fairly new rider and recently acquired a HD street glide. I brought it in to Gilby's for an…read moreinspection, oil change, and to check out the air suspension that wasn't working and a couple other small things. I spoke with Shane on the phone before coming in and in person when dropping off and picking up my bike. In every conversation and interaction, I felt comfortable and got genuine, honest, great vibes. Shane called just 1.5 days after I dropped it off and told me it was ready to pick up. I was pleasantly surprised. Then, when he explained what they did (and what they didn't need to do), and the cost, I was shocked! Prior to dropping it off, we had discussed a few options for the air suspension, depending on what the issue was. Plus, I had explained I was a new rider and that the bike was new to me; so being a green, female rider without a lot of bike knowledge and an unknown issue, I expected the worst.... But that was not what Gilby's provided. They were honest about what the issue was and what they didn't need to do and they gave me a fair and reasonable price. They had every opportunity to overcharge me or get more out of me, but they didn't. Finally, when I went to pick it up, they had washed it! I couldn't be happier with the work Gilby's did, but even more, with the way they treated me. I will absolutely be going here for any/all future bike needs and will recommend them to everyone. Thank you for being honest and real, and for doing great work!

St Croix Power Sports - Me & my new ATV

I promised my dealer that I would write a review of my brand-new Honda Pioneer 1000. However, I…read morewanted to kick the tires, go on some rides use the plow and service it before leaving my review. I feel I've had a chance to truly use my machine and that I'm ready to give my review. My wife and me purchased our UTV from St Croix Power Sports in New Richmond, WI in August of last year, and our salesman was David Mazzola. I can't remember having a more helpful salesman then I had in David. He was not high pressure in anyway and was very knowledgeable in helping me make certain decisions on how to build my machine. When he wasn't available to help, salesman Mike Morrissey was always available to answer my questions. When I was researching what to buy, I knew that I needed something I could use for work and then could go play with. Between Honda or the Polaris Ranger, I realized that the Ranger comes with a few more bells and whistles than the Pioneer. That being said, the main reason that I went with the Honda was the dual clutch transmission. I did not want a belt driven UTV. Boy I'm glad I did. When driving my Pioneer 1000 you can feel the power of the dual clutch transmission and I love how I can go from Automatic to Manuel with a touch of the paddle shifter making it a breeze to down shift when going up a steep hill. The Pioneer 1000 can get to 65 mph however I haven't gone faster than 45 so far. When building your Pioneer, you really have to think about what accessories you want to add. I added a Windshield with wiper along with a roof and the back panel with the sliding window, however, that took up a lot of my roll bar and that's what you use to attach your accessories with. I'm really happy I didn't spend 2 grand for the stereo. I attached a JBL Bluetooth and it cranks as loud as the two-thousand-dollar stereo for a fraction of the price and space used. I might throw down for a turtle box in the future, but for now the JBL works great. Lighting was also a priority and I stepped up from the reg headlights to the LED lights, not only do I love the better illumination, but I love how they look. I also purchased a LED 20' light bar for the roof and a dome light for the inside cab which has proven very convenient and helpful. I also ended up swapping out all my switches that don't light up for ones that do and it's very helpful when driving in the dark, something I would definitely recommend. I also bought a spare tire and a tire mount I could easily plug into my hitch, along with the toolbox I installed in the back dump box that holds my tire jack, tools, and straps needed to make me feel like I'm prepared for most emergencies on the trail. I do suggest investing in a full body skid plate and arm guards to protect the bottom of your Pioneer. I also purchased a rear-view mirror, but don't buy the Honda side mirrors because you can get better ones at Everything Honda for less money and you can place them better. Finaly, I want to talk about my plow, I bought the KFI rope winch along with the KFI Pro poly plow. I have the 5,000 pd winch with a 10,000 pd rope and I used it to pull our mailman's minivan out of the mud when he got it stuck. As for the plow, I love it! Its very light weight and durable I really liked how the plow would flex if I hit a crack in the driveway if I had bought the steel plow those cracks would have curled the lip. It's also one of the reasons that Ill be able to write my UTV off on my taxes because I used it to plow my rental property all winter. As for the service aspect of St Croix Power Sports, Callie Geving has been very helpful in making sure I always ordered the right parts for what I was trying to achieve. The guy who did all my wiring treated my machine like he was working on his own and was proud of his work and excited for me. This is indicative of the service you can expect from St Croix Power Sports from Sales, to service to the delivery of your machine. I would recommend St Croix Power Sports to anyone who wants to invest in a ATV, UTV, or other piece of recreational equipment. Good luck and I'll be seeing you on the trails
