The owner took a ton of time talking to us about outdoor activities in the area with tips on where to hike, bike, and climb. She referred us to a couple of other stores for extra information on other activities. She was so helpful and really made a great impression on my daughter as she searched for a school and town to live in. The prices were great and selection excellent for such a small town. Great St. Joe River guides! Worth every penny…read more Easy reservation and instructions pre-trip. Our guides, Tyler and Patrick, were awesome. They did a great job and teaching us to fly fish from their small boats that put you on the fish. They know all of the spots and go back and forth in these areas to make sure you land fish. All the while, untying our knots and helping to get us unstuck from rocks and logs. Nice, chicken salad lunch along a nice shoreline with lots of beverages throughout the day, with various beers to make the experience that much better. Planning on returning and wouldn't use anyone else.

Big 5 Sporting Goods - 4 stars Great prices for quality…read moreshoes at this store. When I was growing as a kid it was very expensive to buy shoes all the time but we did not want the shoes to fall apart either so we would shop here and I would always get a pair of white Nike shoes. I would always get work boots from the same store because of the high quality and good prices. They also sell gym shorts at a fair bargain. They sell baseball bats, protective gear, and all sorts of things to help you exercise and have fun. The selection is great as are the prices, organization, and cleanliness of the store. The employees are so kind and professional that they will help you with finding the shoes that you need or anything that you're not sure is the best for you. Seriously - they will help you with the most trivial thing. A special shout-out to all the employees who work very hard at that store - thank you!
